  1. Lol @ the nuclear weapons statement. Would you stand by and let someone go all loose cannon with weapons that could destroy the whole planet? That's where your own argument comes in, countries acting in their own best interests. Staying on the map is a pretty high priority.
  2. Source refers to the source code of the web page. If you're using IE7, it can be found under the 'page' tab in the upper right of the browser. Firefox was explained way back in the first few pages, I don't remember how as I don't use it.
  3. Did a quick fix, there was a bit of a plot hole. . . Julian wasn't supposed to know that only Sylvester was in the cell with them :XD: .
  4. Posting because I can. Actually, new Stratagem part up! There was an ulterior motive after all! WaPAH!

Ahem. Page 642 in the url, 620 or so actual. As a matter of fact, that whole arc is full of stuff like that.
  6. The wrinkles on the shirt look a bit awkward, and the letters are definitely too straight for being on a shirt. Otherwise it's really awesome. P.S., maybe add a bit bigger of a border, but that's just personal preference.
  7. Chuck Norris doesn't believe in God. God believes in Chuck Norris. Old jokes are old.
  8. Part II2 --------------------------- A harsh white light nearly finished blinding Julian as he opened his eyes. He cried out in pain and shut them quickly, letting his eyes adjust to the glare through his eyelids before attempting to see again. When he deemed it safe, he cracked his eyes open. He winced, but it was bearable. He realized that he was lying on his back on a cool metal surface. Going by the fact that he had woken at all, Julian figured that he was in no immediate danger. He decided against moving just yet and instead tried to organize his thoughts in order to make sense of things. They had infiltrated the Stratagem, for sure. He remembered that night of crawling through the fields, and getting through the fence. They had been rounding that corner. . . It was no use. After that, Julian̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s memory was blank. It was obvious that they had been captured, that somehow the security of the Stratagem had been alerted to their presence. Most likely, they were now prisoners. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅYou̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re awake.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Have you tried understanding us? We are not contradicting ourselves. I am a Christian, I accept atheism. And I strongly object to such a vicious attack on atheism as in that other 'essay.' People are not calling you out for your views purely because of the fact that they different than theirs. They are challenging them because they contain misconceptions and errors of logic. You can't come to Off-Topic and post about nothing other than religion and expect not to be challenged. And when you are, try to listen to what the other side has to say instead of closing your mind and categorizing everyone as a hypocrite who can't accept or understand. We accept your views. By questioning them, we attempt to understand.
  14. :| I could bold the entire OP on those grounds. And I'm not an atheist. Right now I'm still classed as a theist, perhaps Christian. The reason I wrote that post was because I had strong objections to what was written, and I expressed them. The simple fact is that he has a gross misconception of atheists. He tried to say that all atheists are inherently evil and out to destroy society, making that claim on the basis of the scattered school shootings. Those aren't the only atheists out there. That is a gross generalization. I could say that all Muslims are terrorists, or all Christians are pushy, zealous bigots, and you would most likely have strong objections to those claims, because they simply aren't true. And sorry, but I'm not going to omit an important fact because some people might be offended. Religion has caused more conflict than any other cause in history. The Inquisition, the Crusades, Jesus Christ himself for crying out loud, albeit on a smaller scale.
  15. Pretty sure this isn't a troll post. It was originally posted in the Library, where it was when I posted. Then again, people do strange things.
  16. Living like a pirate >>>>>>> living like a ninja.
  17. Complete and utter [cabbage]. That has seriously got to be the most ignorant thing I have ever read on these forums, and that is saying something. Just because you attempt to use eloquent language does not make that any less a pile of steaming crap. A majority of users here are atheist or agnostic. You are basically saying that more than half of this forum are satanistic psychopaths to be compared with the real ones that have committed terrible crimes. Atheists are not the root of all evil. Atheists do not choose to reject the possibilty of a God solely to become the dregs of society and commit despicable crimes. They find that the teachings of theists are simply not credible enough to warrant belief in a higher being, and reject them. THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM MORAL-DEPRIVED BEINGS. Lack of faith in a higher being is not what spawns evil acts. The 9/11 terrorists strikes were commited by theists. The Crusades killed thousands of times more people than a few school shootings have, and for what? A dispute over religion. Religion has caused more pain and death than any lack of it can ever possibly achieve. This is all coming from someone who has been raised in a Catholic family. Pull your head out of your [wagon]. Atheism is not disgusting, you are.

I was under the impression that Sylar just examined them, since his ability is to see how things 'tick,' and understood the ability. Then just left the brains. Am I missing something here?
  20. My twelve-year-old brother is nothing like me. At all. The only thing he remotely takes after me for is music, but that's because he wouldn't listen to it at all if he didn't hear it from my room :| . And he's going through huge ADD/ADHD problems right now, and he's so emotional that he seems insane sometimes. He threw a freakin' stool at me the other day, bruised my elbow. It hurt like hell.

  22. I never got 18 myself, I stumbled across the answer somewhere but still can't figure out how they got it. I'm on 20 now, but I haven't really been trying and I have homework.
  23. The horizon is loopy. That is seriously one messed up horizon. Fix that. Otherwise it's looking great so far. Dunno what to do about your problems, though.
