A request of friends [all 10 threads found]
Misty roxxor. On the "Stand Back and Look at it All.", I really like that one. I've thought the same thing. That's why I've decided it's time to step out. Or just move on up. (Movin' on up...)

What do you look for in a boy/girl?
Well, I do have to say I like a nice body. Not to be anorexic, or heavy, just healthy. I prefer my girls white as well. I don't like red-haired girls... For a relationship, not [bleep]s. Smart, like to laugh. And like music. Isn't drawn in by stupid high school [cabbage]. My best (gal) friend pretty much epitomizes my wants for a woman.

Worst thing you got caught doing at school!
Haha, we've been starting to collect signs and stuff to do that same thing, ca2.

Why does everyone think governments are evil/out to get us?
Hehe, Ron Paul is funnee. He has a blimp. And he turns into Tron Paul. I think all the beliefs of our governments being all-powerful and connected mysteriously is [cabbage], maybe even made up by them so they look more powerful.

13yr old sent home for dressing as jesus
That would be funny. They shouldn't have been sent home.

College Football 2008
TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH. I was at a tailgate beforehand, and my brother went to the actual game. He stormed the field, too.

Halloween
I'm a bandito, actually.

What would you name your first child?
Or Geoffrey.

Bon Fire Night
Oh, so it's celebrated like an English Independence Day? Sounds awesome. I might be shooting fireworks off anyways, so I'll tape a label to one that states "Long live the Queen!"

Exactly. It is hard. But a sort of example (and note that I, too, am lying, according to my earlier definition) would be morals. You can somewhat be taught them, but there's still within all of us some sense of "right" and "wrong". Or, another, less apt example. Nearly every human child, when asked to draw their house, will put a triangle atop a square. It's just hardwired into us. That's how I feel this whole thing could have been, had the Disciples not been most likely driven mad with the beauty of this realm. After all, seeing crazy [cabbage] like that would be much more fun alive than dead. Well, if you want to get into all technicalities, we're all evolved and reproduced from one single cell billions of years ago.

what do you do to make a difference?
Unless you'd be a serious environazi, there's no reason to be 'green by the book'. The small things that make sense are so easy they should be taught to kids (like it is in some kindergardens in nordic countries)... -Turning off lights and appliances while you aren't at home/you sleep -Walking/biking short distances instead of driving a car -Conserving water Because.. You know, neither electricity or water is infinite. I'm not an environment nut, but I find the above extremely easy to do. Hell, it doesn't even harm you, if anything, your electronic appliances last longer since they get rest periods, your electric/water bills get lower, etc... I don't buy into that "don't purchase from the big corporations" boycott though... Really. For every self-conscious western person choosing not to buy Nestle/McDonald's/whatever, there's 10 new customers in poorer countries who will happily take their products due to the cheap price to feed their families... It really doesn't matter (unless those companies like Nestle got actually banned in western countries, which isn't going to happen) Yeah, we have water limits anyways, and lights aren't on most of the day. Only problem is how much we drive. It's impossible for us not to; I go to school four miles away, my parents work ten miles away, and my brother works in a whole other town.

what do you do to make a difference?
No, just letting you know I don't really do anything out of the way. I mean, I like to be an underdog. And a certain friend of mine has told me, that it ain't easy being green.

PINKEYE. Seriously, my eyes were bleeding.

Could always start one and then send it to them. Might even feel better than basically vomiting words on paper to be judged.

NaNoWriMo '08
You have 25 days (well, judging begins on November 25th) to write a 50,000 word (or longer) novel. If you do that, you win. And in recent years, you can have a small independent book publisher publish a paperback copy (actually a proof) for you. And if you pay them, they'll publish it for you and distribute it on Amazon (doubt it'd cost more than a hundred dollars, I need to look again). I have a couple of ideas. Dunno if I should go the war route or how I see my future as being. I wish I had a truly original idea. Just something like...Sliced bread :/
-
NaNoWriMo '08
Yeah, it's just a proof that they give you at first, but I believe you can set up to get artwork and the like added for a public distribution on Amazon. Won't have the cover theatrics of John Grisham of course, but it'd still be fun.

Yeah, I don't understand that either. Heh, believe it or not, a lot of these ideas were sorta clarified to me by a science fiction book. Hope I don't start worshiping Dan Simmons.
-
NaNoWriMo '08
Yeah, now they give you a paperback proof of the book, if you have 50,000 words or more. I think there's a company that works with them and is part of Amazon; they publish and distribute it for you on Amazon.

I've head great ideas storming around my head lately, but I just don't have the time to compete. I might start preparing them in the summer, then editing them... But that wouldn't be as fun as hurried typing for 25 days. Nowish. But I really don't have anything in concrete. Maybe something involving racing, I dunno. National Novel Writing Month. Now genuflect.

What's the most important lesson you have ever learnt?
That's still quite a stomach.

What do you do?(Where do you work? What is your occupation?)
I'll need to find something to do for money this summer. Might be able to buss at a restaurant, but I don't have faith in my abilities at carrying plates. You don't wanna drop 'em. Could always play my harmonica, with the case set out in front of me. I'll have to hope nobody tips with multiple bills.
