  1. Eh, I figured my usual blunt approach wouldn't be too good. Then again, we're pretty blunt with each other...Well, thanks guys :)
  2. The thing is, I do like her and want to keep dating. I just don't want to say I love her, because, well, it's not true. Plus I know this probably won't last long, so I want to enjoy it.
  3. Noooo no no no, not as in love. The "love" that seemingly all girls believe they have after two weeks of simply dating. Luckily I'm not in that bad of a situation.
  4. Okay, what if your girlfriend tells you she loves you, and you know you don't love her back? And that she probably doesn't actually love you? No idea what to do here. Scrubs doesn't help :( Mind you, dealing with 15-year old moody teenaged womens, here.
  5. OOC: Interesting. I'm going to be gone most of tomorrow, and all of the weekend. :/
  6. I agree with that. I don't see how the trilogy is anti-religion. Anti-christian/catholic? Yes, but the book still supports theism. I mean, there is no scientific explanation behind Dust, there is no scientific explanation of Daemons, no scientific explanation of the Alethiometer, no explanation of the Subtle Knife. This thing is pure fantasy. I do understand why people got mad at it for being anti-christian. The books went and pretty much out-right said that the Church was corrupt, evil, and based on the lies of an angel (That same angel being viewed as a God and the creator, who in turn was portrayed as corrupt and evil). So the book is controversial, DONT TAKE AWAY FROM BASIC COMPONENTS OF THE BOOKS I mean, this book could have made a great movie, if it was directly translated from paper to film, not diluted so that it lost half it's meaning. Keep the Magisterium having the appearence of the Catholic church, keep the violence and gore of the books (The biggest worries were that the movies promoted the books, which in turn promote anti-catholicism). Keeping the violence and gore would raise the target age, meaning that the book would be better suited for teenagers, and I personally think that us teenagers are pretty much decided on where in general we stand, along with that we know that what we would be seeing in this movie isn't true. Since the target age is raised, that should mean you'd be able to keep more of the basic ideas of the books. I loved the books of His Dark Materials, but will never see the movie adaptations. Like in the Inheritence series, the trailers turned me off based on just how much was changed from these great books to the movies. Agreed, they didn't even get Lyra's mother's hair color right. Seriously, that's what's known as epic fail.
  7. Most people get about 14,000 an hour. So unless you have amazing concentration, don't expect 18k an hour to be consistent.
  8. count me out \ You lose a dozen internets. You might not want to make plans for pictures. It'll take a good amount of time.
  9. Doesn't he wear those anyways?
  10. I LOVE His Dark Materials. Probably the best books I've ever read. Changed my views on the entire world, to be honest. I don't understand why people thought he was anti-religion, that book really made me know my religion even better. I'm struggling through Atlas Shrugged, but a lot of it is over my head. Should I read the Fountainhead first? I have to read a biography for next year, which isn't fun in the least. I prefer fiction, to be honest
  11. Nobody can really know. I would guess above 500, no more than 2,000.
  12. OOC: Ergh, knew we shoulda fortified Wal-Mart a little. I have no idea what sort of damage a Desert Eagle should be doing on here. I'll say 7, since in actuality Desert Eagles use slugs near the same as a rifle. ICC: "Okay, here's what we do," Teach mumbled. "Knock over the shelf, then shoot anything that moves." (OOC: Since Wal-Mart shelves are so heavy, if any of them get trapped under them they won't be able to get up very quick, even if they live. I'll say I'll use a d100, and if it hits under 25, they'll be hit and killed. Under 35, stunned for a turn. Hope no others are nearby. This will be loud.) "Now!" The pair used makeshift levers to knock the shelf down. (No zombies crushed :() They both opened fire with their pistols. Teach's first shot tore a hole through the nearest stumbler, knocking it down and nearly killing it (8). Vladmir's nearly tore off the head of the furthest one, instantly killing it (11). Teach pistolwhipped the other one (15 damage. Whew -_-), whilst Vladmir shot a slug into the first one's head (9), finishing it. "Hurry comrade, we must get back to the station!" Vladmir shouted, grabbing the cart and running for the nearby exit. Teach ran ahead of him with the 12-gauge, prepared for anything to pop out.
  13. He's right, Happy. Most of your posts are a tad less intelligent than you seem to believe. The stupidest thing anyone ever said to me? "You're not as cool as you think you are." Seriously man, what's up with that?
  14. Or being attacked.
  15. There was a bug that showed Lumbridge as the next Achievement Diary. Dunno if it's been brought up.
  16. Doubt that was the only reason. Sucks to be him, though.
  17. They're around 200-300k. If you're not gonna help and just trying to get your post count up, Asian, you shouldn't really post :?
  18. Lolwut? Well, at least you've gotten better than Zot_Mutske. Didn't he go about 1200 kills with next to no drops, or somat like that?
  19. Platypi? Found Waldo? Waffle Time. Muffins Eat. <3 EDIT: By the way, Desert Eagles aren't that great. They're (usually) expensive, kick insanely, and while they are awesome, I've seen people who didn't take ultimate care when handling them and have broken bones. I kid you not.
  20. Crushing spirit. Our favorite hobby here. I say go for it, buy it and see how you like it. I had a friend who used it with 60 strength and 75 attack, and he loved it; even though he couldn't hit constant 40's he still hit good and liked it.
  21. I guess I should give some actual advice. Keep friends around you all the time, and if you can, try and laugh it off or throw an insult or two their way. Just try not to be that kid that sits and seethes, trying to take it. To be frank, people will insult you and be mean all through school. Probably later on, too. People in general suck. Just keep with your friends as much as you can, and don't start anything you don't want to untangle yourself with. Intimidation also works, I suppose, but you have to be good at it, as well as having some skills and knowing a few people. Unless you're being bullied by a bear. Then, just yell and wave your arms at them. Bears are wimps. If worse comes to worse, though, the mace idea is still good. EDIT: Or you could be the crazy kid that most people simply avoid or just leave alone because they think you'll blow and shoot up the school. Whatever floats your boat.
  22. Yes, of course. The entire Jagex company cares about your opinion and values your thoughts completely. They hate money. Oh, wait, sorry. Took an opposite potion. :P
  23. Sell dharok's chestplate and buy guthan's. Same defence for a good bit cheaper. You could do the same with the dragon legs, as well. If you've done Fremennick Isles, use a Neitiznot helm. If you've done Recipe for Disaster, use barrows gloves. But, anyways, don't buy full dharok's. It's only real use is in special places.
  24. Use mace. No, not the spray. I mean beat your harassers with a mace.
  25. They're inside Dorgesh-Kaan. I can't remember what quest you need to access the city itself, but it may actually be combat-related. They're scattered in a lot of the houses, I can't remember which ones. They require 52 Thieving I believe, and a lockpick. I'd look them up in Tip.It's guide, but it won't load for me.
