  1. Circumcision can be a very dangerous, and far more painful process after infancy. Many deaths over the ages in war have been attributed to the foreskin and the difficulty in cleaning. Also, foreskins feature prominently in the Bible. Why is any of this relevant? Because why the [bleep] should a city care what happens to a child's penis? It's a family decision. The procedure isn't painful (surprisingly, trained anesthesiologists are pretty good at their job), mostly because nobody will remember it. I'm circumcised, and I hardly even knew what that meant until a few years ago. There are far more pressing matters than penis skin.

Can't really compare until you've tried not bathing for a while :P Aye. I used to think my friends' not washing their hair was nasty, but now I do it and actually get more compliments on how nice my hair is. I'd try not showering, but at the end of a day I'm literally covered in filth. So, I take as little shower as possible.
  3. http://www.herschelsupply.com/shop/ I hear good things.

People really don't need to shower as much as they do, or use as much soap or shampoo. I'll wash my hair with shampoo once a week, usually take a shower every day, but I only use soap on parts of me that actually get dirty. It removes a layer of your skin that you want to have. The horny layer. I'm serious.
  5. I'm cool with chelseas, considered buying some myself. I think those ones you posted just make me mad with the buckle-thing.
  6. They look like low-quality motorcycle boots. I would definitely vote against them.
  7. Nice wallet.
  8. I've heard massive strikes are occurring as we speak. Nobody's allowing Al Qaeda a chance to rest and bury their dead - only to join them. Personally, I cannot celebrate any man's death. He was an enemy of my people, and therefore in my eyes evil. But evil is subjective. Someone as bad, if not worse, will take his place ... But until that terrible day, many folks will be at peace knowing he has been brought to whatever form of justice a person may believe in.
  9. Uh. Not exactly why we're in Afghanistan. And he may very well have been killed elsewhere, in Pakistan perhaps. Every news website in the world is crashing from all the people. Lol worthy? Yeah, lol.
  10. Man, that's rough. I grew up south of Amarillo, and while we'd have a couple tornadoes a week in late spring, the only damage was the occasional cattle tossed around. One tornado passed by us, once - it was tiny, but we lived in a trailer house and it trashed part of our roof. Worse, though, it stole our trampoline... I wish I could help. Tornadoes are one force of nature that, while beautiful, are completely terrible. I'm interested in Texas' upcoming twister season.
  11. I feel your pain. Really just gotta suck it up. It's horrible when you're sweating like that, especially around here in the summer (100+ degrees) - but the guys wearing shorts and tank tops usually don't do quite as good of a job, in my opinion. They always seem to be working so fast and sloppy. Get hurt easy, too.
  12. I think it's much better than to have beginners hitting the gym. Many people, when they start going to a gym, are lost and simply move from machine to machine while taking five minute 'mirroring' breaks between sets. P90X sets up a routine schedule that's spelled out for you. Even without floodgates of testosterone, my bicep size shot up, I developed abdominals, and my thighs turned to steel; an all around toned body. Much better than paying for gym membership, IMO. You're going to West Point, too, right? So I reckon you understand the situation here. Three-day hump today. And I'm off to do ... back and legs? The time thing isn't so bad. I wake up at six, don't have to be at school until 8:30, usually just diddle around in that time. Running I'm struggling to find time for. Gonna do my best to squeeze it in at least twice a week, preferably three times. No, I can do three times, preferably more. Yes. I think I had trouble with P90X before (I did it for three weeks last summer) because I had so little strength then, and probably a good deal less motivation. Now I'm already noticing I'm feeling better and improving my all-around fitness. Usually at work I can barely carry a bucket of shale; just yesterday I DESTROYED THAT THANG by carrying more.
  13. I'd roll with what you got, something pale probably. Although you might supplement it with a pale red or brown, get a little warmth in there.
  14. I like prep style a lot. But don't understand the culture, which creates interesting situations. Somehow.
  15. That's probably exactly what I need to hear.
  16. I've never actually followed the program, just done its exercises singularly on occasion. Oh, as an extra note: I work a very manual labor-intensive job, and it's a serious workout in itself (I prefer working to working out, honestly - but I need to work out to gain the sheer strength). Thanks for the words, indeed.
  17. Hey, I'm running for that thing too! Well, winning. You just have to be more liked than your opponent(s). Especially at my school - we aren't allowed to actually campaign. If you get to give a speech, you give the [cabbage] outta that speech.
  18. I know, lots of acronyms that not all of you are familiar with. But, briefly, I am applying for the Marine Option NROTC Scholarship and, more than anything, I need to increase my physical strength to become a valid candidate. I currently could pass the minimum of the physical fitness test (PFT), but I wish to better prepare myself and have a more attractive application (which I will send in at the end of August, after I turn 17). So! I was hoping to ask if the P90X system, supplemented with a running program (I've heard good things about this: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml), could get me in shape for the Marine Corps. My father already has the whole P90X system and has been using it. I've done it off and on, but never saw an extreme increase in strength. I figured you folks would know more than I do. I'm also fixing up what I eat, but that's a question for another day.
  19. I was asked this by the director of West Texas College's theater department. And I refuse to answer again. But I'm average.
  20. Go to hell? I've never heard that. Fun as hell. EDIT: Wait, yeah, I saw that once. But people don't wear chinos around here much. I never heard the term until a few months ago on ze internet.
  21. Why are jeans necessary? If you get good-fitting chinos, nobody will think any different. And if they do, go buy a bright red pair of chinos as a personal "screw you" to them.
  22. I thought that was brought up a while back as a good thing, so you can tell where it is if it's stolen?
  23. It's true. My district got sponsored by Under Armor, now we have nice and shiny things. Lubbock ISD just passed a $198 million bond that will fix up the entire district (it needs it). Arts actually get a little bit, but we've always made do with what we have. Makes you stronger.
  24. Higher quality than the ones I see at our high-end department store (which is really just full of overpriced frat-boy type brands, to be honest). Nice and thick, but not too thick to get a good knot - you can tell that they're homemade with such care. No clue how she gets so many fantastic fabrics. I have a brown knit wool tie from her that I love dearly as well. If you have any special requests, she'll probably fulfill them.
  25. And they work with a spotter. And rifles. Just hide in a tree or something. Or go for the surprise factor. The earlier disguise idea was good. Fake mustaches.
