  1. I probably woulda left it there, haha. If I even noticed it. But if I cared enough at that moment I'd probably do the same thing you did. Hey, maybe now that girl will come back to you for comfort after her boyfriend dumps her for not being careful with her phone.

Hung out with a friend all weekend. Seeing him again when we go back up to Amarillo and then to Canadian for Easter. Ahh, ready for school to end. This summer's trip is gonna be fun. I think I'll take some picatoors.
  3. Haha, you look a lot like I imagined you. Less beard, though. Ahh, I should find a picture. Everyone's coming out of the reality closet. I think I have one with my hands in it. As a teaser, I guess. Plus I want to show off my harmonicas. Don't know if I have yet. Oh, and I found a picture kinda of me, but it's from quite some time ago. I should demand a photo op from my parents or something. Let me get my sports coat. EDIT: Aw, man, I guess I deleted my harmonica pictures. I might take another one sometime soon or something.
  4. To be fair, religion did hold 'us' back for a long time due to it's power-house status during the Middle Ages. It's not so much of an issue now tho; so long as you haveno religious nut-job in a position of power... or something. Yeah, but I hate it when people blame us not having fusion-powered wings on religion. We'd be lucky to be where we were in the 1700s if the Catholic Church wasn't chillin' out when Rome fell. While a whole bunch of crappy stuff came around due to people being idiots, that occurs in everything - plus, the bad is always remembered far more clearly than the good. I still hold to what I've seen as the truth that organized religion pretty much held together the world back then. Crazy times and crazy people stuck to the one thing that was a little bit less crazy.
  5. Someone would like to say otherwise. [hide=][/hide] Quit blindly eating up propaganda. Educate yourselves instead of being educated by others. Seriously.
  6. Hope you don't have any stains in the carpet. It looks so nasty under a black light. I have a few in my room. But they're so cool ... I need to rent a carpet steamer or something.
  7. He's young. I'm sure there are training courses or something, too. I'm sure it's really hard. Imagine if you had to learn another language too. Plus, people move their mouths differently when they talk. I know I hardly move mine, since I drawl. You need a person who enunciates when they speak to read well. I think it'd be useless to do any of those things. I have somewhat of a photographic memory, guess it's not as good as that pi guy. I'm better with remembering sounds than pictures. Or feelings. Lip-reading? Why? It'd be insanely hard if you weren't within hearing range, because how can you see their lips that well? And hibernation...? Sleeping is a superpower now?
  8. Heh. How CORNY of them. I don't much care. Let 'em get married. 50% of them will divorce anyways, apparently. The US divorce rate makes me not want to get married. Ever. Anyways, I don't get why people actually care. It's just a wedding ring. Many marriages these days aren't even religious ceremonies. If the church refuses but they can still just go to the courthouse or something, why should anybody care? I just don't get it.
  9. I'd like to coolify my room like that. But I don't have the touch, so I just throw anything I find cool in here. It's worked well enough.

I'm already all like that. AWESOME. I'm shooting awesome out of both ends of my body. Not good.
  11. Iron Horse got me into bluegrass today. Interesting that some bluegrass covers can take one down to the SOUTHLAND. Yeeee, haw.
  12. IRON HORSE. Really hard to find their albums.
  13. I didn't think it was that funny. IT WAS YUCKY. But I was watching King of the Hill at the same time, anyways.
  14. Yeah. With teenagers, their moods fluctuate so often it's not even worth relying on friends. What? Are you guys sixty or something? Everyone in my famly has kept friends from elementary school. I still have a few, pretty much all of my brother's friends have been with him since third grade, and my sister met her husband barely after high school, but she didn't like the people at her high school so she wasn't friends with them. Although you'll probably keep friends of the same-sex easier, I've noticed. Mainly because some of those girls will get HOT.
  15. Nothing wrong with wanting it to happen. Just don't put it on the pedestal. Like sex. Sure, it'd be nice to get laid. But to be honest, there's a whole lotta other [cabbage] I want to do, plus I don't think I know a single girl who hasn't had at least three guys I know with them. It isn't a huge deal. How old's your brother, anyways? My brother used to tell me high school was a big deal, but now that he's almost done with college, he realizes what a complete load of crap a lot of your early life is.
  16. I think all chap stick feels wierd. Like lotion. I don't like my skin feeling wet unless I'm taking a shower or swimming or something. It just feels so wierd.

Haha, I've had two in Texas Hold 'Em. I've only played one game for money though, and all I did was make back my five dollar buy-in from my dad (I was like seven). I fancy myself a good Hold 'Em player. I'm really lucky though, I can get a flush or a straight very commonly. I do tend to press my luck, though.

Sounds like that Dane Cook joke. Man, I don't want to go to school tomorrow. My tummy hurts.

Lovely showers. I woke up at four in the morning to sixty mile an hour winds. With slashing rain, of course. Haha, it's pretty cool.
  20. Why not? Older, deep-voiced, a professor. I think Tom Hanks can do it. Worked pretty good in the Da Vinci Code.
  21. Why not just give her some hard candy. She'll work on that until she falls asleep. All seriousness though, I seriously hope somebody snuck in "Big Butts." I would shake their hand.

You might wanna break out the whip. If they aren't supervised they might dawdle. My sister had quick guys, in and out in twenty minutes with all the big stuff, but the movies say movers take their time. AUGH I don't want to go to school Friday.
  23. From what I've seen, that xkcd comic really sums it up. Best-friend, "What else is there?" love isn't good at all for the long-term. It can happen though. Sometimes it isn't like that in xkcd and you both end up caring about each other. But make sure you don't care about her like that just because you're already close and you won't want to build a relationship with someone else. I had a friend who did that, didn't end up well at all.
  24. Don't worry, I daydream about making a musical. But a cool one. I'm talking a rocking one. Some sort of dedication to the rise and fall of true ROOK OOND ROOOOOL. I actually want to do it very badly. But it would be terribly hard. I want to make it long as [bleep] since I want tons of music playing constantly, plus I'm sure it'd be tough to choreograph (I'm not even gonna try, I tripped walking upstairs today ). Augh it'd be so sweet. Like Across the Universe, but instead of showing the values and confusion and crap of the time, just show that ROCK AND ROLL WAS [bleep]ING RAD AS [cabbage]! I also might know where Scott Derrickson (to-be director of Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion) lives, so I can get some revenge if he COMPLETELY SCREWS UP DANGIT. Better remember that the Consul should look vaguely Pacific islander-ish. And Brawne is very strong, obviously covered in muscles, but still hot. She's like an eighties circus midget. Silenus should look like a goat. Kassad is Palestinian. Masteen is about 9, 10 feet tall. Weintraub is OOOOOLD. And Lenar Hoyt should always look in pain or high.
  25. Me and some friends did a peanut butter jelly time dance for elementary school. HOLY CRAP TIP.IT IS STALKING ME. OR STOCKING ME FOR RETAIL SALE. WHAT.
