First off welcome back to RS :P. However this topic doesn't really fit here and would be more suited in Help & Advice or even locked (I'm not sure it's up to the mods). You can take time to read the updates on the main Runescape page or skim and see what catches your eye. The main updates have been Soul wars, Mobilizing Armies, PvP changes, and the Dragon Pickaxe. So, I know a lot has happened in the past year or so, so can you guys let me know how much I missed? A lot :P Did another huge glitch happen like with that guy Durial321 where someone could kill anybody, anywhere at anytime? No but we did experience the infinite penguin glitch where you could click a penguin as many times as you wish and trade the points for XP getting people 99's in a matter of hours. This yeas has been plagued with various small glitchs that have ended in people being made such as the one when the rest function came out you could attack any monster and it wouldn't fight back. How are jagex doing at stopping account trading? Nothing much besides shutting down sites and watching IP's. Any new quests? What did I miss for the easter update? Should I do the halloween one? Do all the quests :twisted: Any e-drama? When did Tip.it forums level up lol? Not that I know of and just recently. Finally, any new skills? How is Summoning and hunter doing? Nope but summoning and hunter are doing fine...I guess.

First off I'd like to say it's nice to meet someone who can validly argue their point on these forums. As this is the first time I've seen (or atleast remember you) on these forums.

It'll cost in the range of 30-50M depending on what level you are right now. Try to get some herbs now before they rise too much but in the next few days they will get stupidly high so you'll have to wait a few weeks at most.

Attempt to fill out as many boxes as you can. You might not be sure on some things but if you have a vague idea you should fill it out. Make sure you use the 400 letters they provide you wisely and explain your situation. If you remember some old recoveries you can use them in the boxes and explain that to them on the written report thing.

Pray at the altar past the agility thing and you'll be dropped into the dungeon. I think you need to be not at full prayer to pray at it and fall not sure though. Gl with your clue my friend.

Your forgetting one key thing there. Runescape is based upon luck. Sure skills increase the chances to get lucky, but they never let you always win. For example I lost to a level 118 yesterday in PvP. It was a friendly DM and we had the exact same gear on with the exact same inventories. I should have won because I had better stats than him by far. Was I supposed to win? Yes. Did I? No, as a matter of fact I lost by over 5 food just because his dragon bolts specialed more times than mine did. So you can't say that just because the guy has more total XP he deserves to win everytime. The higher the skills the better you are supposed to be and it was that way for a day. People who actually trained a skill got an advantage over other people who didn't. The whole principle of this game is to give the upper hand to people who have the higher skills. If we want to look at all the untradable advantages that PvPers get from skills and remove them on the premise that it's not combat related we don't have to train it then there wouldn't be much left. Agility: Faster run recharge and it goes down slower. Yup we gotta take that off someone with 99 agility can outrun me in a chase through the wild. GE shortcut tunnel. Damn straight we have to remove this because I don't have the agility level to use the shortcut and the people who do have an unfair advantage because they don't have to hop to use the GE. Firemaking: Hand cannoners have a very good advantage if they have 99 firemaking vs someone with lower. It's a skill and not involved in combat so lets' take out hand cannons from PvP. Woodcutting: Omg I can't cut cursed magic trees because my wc is too low and someone else can with their brawlers. That's unfair to me let's take that out! The argument that it's unfair because I didn't train it is just plain stupid. Get off your butt and train it if you want the advantage and it's no one elses fault besides yours if you don't. People spend over 100M gp on 99 herblore they should atleast be rewarded for it. It's like buying an AGS and having it have no specials in PVP, how stupid would that be? Jagex: Give a yard and they'll take a mile. Cut this giving into whiners thing off at the roots and you'll be fine if not your digging your own grave.

The high level players have been asking for untradable items for quite awhile now and Jagex finally decides to listen. However, they always seem to back out of everything that is in favor of people whole train skills and cater to the whiny players. With the removal of the extreme pots from PvP I'm afraid the next few high level updates will be great then get nerfed or they will just stink because they are afraid of getting whiners and rewarding those who actually skill. I wasn't aware agility was buyable. Along with runecrafting and mining. It could be argued that slayer is in fact buyable as one could cannon and piety almost every single task. However most don't and we are going with the majority here.

BLACK MASK/SLAYER HELM! Never wear anything but either of those items on a slayer task. BBS or D square is your best bet right now though.

Bandos has the cheapest supply costs with the best overall drops. I've made more money at Bandos than any other GWD boss by a large margin. Bandos for sure :thumbup:

The biggest factor is the time of day. At different times of day there is less/higher demand/supply for an item. So that could have played with the fact that you got it so cheap. Or....after the first major spectral dump they have never been able to successfully buy them out for more than few hours-day again. Many small clans attempt to buy them out weekly but underestimate how many are out there. With the majority of the big time merchants busy with rares and sometimes 3rd age they have no time or money to mess with hard to buyout items. If you want a spectral or arcane for keeps you can buy one once you feel they are worth it. If you're looking to merchant it you need to stay away from them as they are too unstable and radical. neither is a good choice into purchasing those shields. afaik, spec/arc does like 20% less than dfs and the effect can hardly do better then 5m+ items. this is only my opinion. to cite, i tried spec before. also, is anyone aware of the mask prices? something tells me that those masks are going to skyrocket. they're more accessible to buyout compared to santas. I've owned all four of the shields at one time or other and I'd have to agree. Spectral is just not worth it because I'm not avid Kree'ara killer. Arcane however is just fantastic for avid castle wars player or a smart PvPer. Masks seem to have gotten bought out yet again, however I don't see them as having much potential as the public basically controls the majority of the supply and demand. Time will tell though.

The ice plateau teleport gets you close, but there is no other lunar teleport that gets you even close. The number one rule is not to underestimate him. Pray melee, bring a dds, and own him hard :).

I know I was, since I was below 90k attack exp to level before, and now I'm back up to 102k... <_< You weren't rolled back, the system simply had a problem and it forced to revert to the last saved game session (which is every 15 minutes or so). Roll backs are when they manually go back and go back to a saved game session which could be hours to days before.

It's been that way since the beginning of the GE. If you have more than one more offer on something it will split whatever is sold to you (in this case 8) over the amount of offers you have. It also increases your chance of getting sold to as you have a better chance of getting lucky with the offer.

Jagex and glitches...sigh :|

The majority of people who sell their partyhats these days regret doing so. Sell off the masks if you can as they are falling. You could always switch to a money making skill instead of sell off your rares. If you really don't feel attached to your hat wait until the pre-crash era and sell.

I knew a great update like that was too good to be true. Very much so a failure Jagex nice job! :shame:
