Most Inflating Items?
The inflation will most likely not carry on for very long, as Jagex will most likely put a money drain into the economy soon. So investing in an inflating item will probably not be the best idea. I'd suggest just keeping the cash pile right now.

I'll grab hold of a blue, but that's about it. Your exactly right-when I bought my ely I was 400M down in merchanting power. It wasn't worth losing the profit just yet. I do enjoy my partyhats, but when it comes down to me having to max or have another hat I'd choose to max.

The Dwarf N33B's Blog 99/99 Summoning BUSY IRL
Ty....slowly getting to 99 slayer. Been really busy IRL lately. :o <3: Been hardcore slaying lately. As in slaying every time I am on. It's going well and I'm getting here. Most likely 98 by next week and 99 in a few weeks after that. Whip 14: Balanced is hot:

POLL: Jagex Q&A Sessions
None because of the shear fact they'd ignore the questions I'd ask, as they require them to take a side on some key points. I've read them all and they seem to answer the same question more than three times per session and it's useless drivel.

A purple is worth about 1.5 easters actually, but nonetheless they are nearing their end. Once parthatys crash, or at least the lower three maybe four, the edibles and disks will take a hard hit and easters will most likely crash. After the crash many people who have been wanting a p hat for awhile will suck them up and thus causing them to be bought out again. That'll last for a few days and then they'll crash again. They might go through a couple cycles of this before they start crashing hard or stabilizing; depending on the partyhat. Personally, I have stayed away from edibles because of the fact they have basically no purpose besides being a merchanting item. Blues and whites seem to be relatively unaffected by the whole edible escapade going on right now. Purple, yellow, and green will crash first and they will most likely drag the red down with them. I don't see white and blues being impacted though. Arcanes and spectrals are being traded for eggs+cash right now. Spectrals have the stronger buyout right now, however I don't seem them getting more than one GE update before they crash; if even that. Divine is still the same and Elysian dropped back down to white+cash street price from white+easter.

H'weens' seem to be stabilizing right now, so give them a few days to reach a stable price. I imagine this will be their price until something to drain money is introduced.

Green has already started to stabilize and I imagine red and blue will follow. They are no longer crashing very hard. I agree with Punitive_D on the p hat issue except that he forgot to mention that it'll take more to crash something like the blue and white than it would to crash the purple.

Haha...this is fascinating. this has happened to half wines before. now xmas crackers are now finally open to the market. can anyone give an estimate of when to sell partyhats in the exchange? cause i really don't want to come back from school, only to find out that my partyhat crashed. I do not see the lower three partyhats lasting too much longer. They're getting to a price where the majority won't care to pay that much for them. It all depends when the public demand falls out and the merchants can't hold onto them anymore. Now given they could last even another month, but everyday past that is stretching it.

Sadly the amount needed for update is most likely around 10. This is the first update in over a year (I know there was one or two while the GE was still new).

Partyhats are still going fine; and yes arcanes and spectrals are being bought out right now. However, it's not a very strong buyout and you should be able to get one on the GE after some patience. There are so few crackers in Runescape that are actually on active accounts and the majority of them are on merchant accounts. No one really wants a cracker these days besides other merchants so their street price is mainly merchant driven. It's because of the change in GE mechanics and some old GE sell offers on reds from awhile back (a whole explanation is posted by me a few pages back). Red/white/ and blue partyhats are the strongest three who have the longest to go before reaching their peak GE price. Reds do however have a chance of crashing if something like PvP is completely fixed or something to sink money into is released. The white and blue have a significantly smaller chance of that happening to them. Ya he did get lucky however, I can't see yellows, greens, and purples doing a lot more rising before hitting a price where people just don't think they're worth it anymore. The other three are a complete different story though.

Ya, been busy in real life, but I don't mind that really. Elysian isn't worth 400M, however I do somewhat regret selling it right away. Haven't updated my blog in awhile.... [hide=Some pictures:] Whip 13: Two kills after: 600 Tasks done :): First range ammy :): [/hide] Have a paper rewrite due, another paper coming up to do, and I have the weekly APAM essay to do. So my play time will be severely limited. I hope to finish up slayer and get at least 96 sum before x-mas though.

the price range is so big that its nearly impossible to confirm that question. to go beyond the call of duty, heres the street for all the rares! purple: 350+ green: 500+ yellow: 600+ red: 700+ white: 800+ blue: 1B+ half wine: 1B+ disk: 250+ pumpkin: 300+ easter: 100-150+ ALL MASKS @ SANTAS ARE EITHER BELOW OR ABOVE MID. Street prices are extremely hard to estimate, but you did a good job. He's a pricing in the terms of other unbuyables. Purple=Pumpkin Green: Close to yellow but still ~50M lower/ purple+disk/ disk+2 easter Yellow: Pump+disk or easter/ 2 purple Red: 2 pump/2+disk+easter/green+pump/yellow+disk+easter White: 2 reds+disk/3 pump+disk or purple/red+2 pump/red+green+yellow+easter/Elysian Blue: 2 whites+2 pump/2 whites+red/divine+2 pumps Cracker: blue+2 whites/blue+4 reds/2 ely+pump-GL though Half wine: 2 blue/blue+2 whites/blue+white+yellow+green+red/blue+white+2 red-GL though Disk: Street was near or at abyssal's Easter: Street was near or at abyssal's Pumpkin: Street was near or at abyssal's

Ahh the power of exaggeration. If you saw some errors, fix them and send the fixed version to mirror. He will change it if he agrees on them and that will be so. If your so good at editing people's works then he might even offer you a position on the staff for that sole purpose. It's a lot easier when you can sit here on the forums and exaggerate over something though so maybe this is what your best at. Negative comments are fine; however, your just sitting on these forums and ranting about it when you could be spending that time editing all four of this weeks articles and sending them to Mirror, while making a good impression of yourself. Started reading the second article by Master_Smither, Unbuyables, and I couldn't finish it after I read the first sentence. When writing an article you should probably at least make sure the first sentence is grammatically correct. The fact that you are/were an infamous troll around these forums that supposedly quit the forums ages ago ruins all your credibility. I could point out that you misspelled a simple word such as "a lot" in your posts. If you think you can do better by all means do so and show off your true talents by submitting a guest article or sending in some edits. I'm not going to sit here and further discuss this, as there really isn't much more to be said. Spend more time editing rather than ranting/trolling because you claim to be good at it.

Could you tell us some of those websites? Might be useful for alot of us... ;) I know there are a few out there such as this one: http://www.vsisystems.com/download/pagechange.zip You unzip it, then there's another .zip file for some reason. Unzip that also... no installation required. The one I use was created by my friend and only wants his direct friends to partake in it, so I can not release that to you. This one should be good enough as a few of my friend use it and I haven't had any complaints about it. Just set it to the GE database page or a certain item page you are watching. Edibles seem to be doing quite well because of their extremely low GE price. However, they are a lot more common than people think they are and I count them as another 3rd age. They'll hit a price where no one really wants them anymore and crash again. If you have them now or can get one now they're great. In the long run they won't do much.

You can buy it in the GE if you get an offer in within 30 seconds of a price update. Otherwise you will not be able to buy it via the GE. If your going to try and get for cash I wish you luck; street price is around 400M, but those offers tend to get sucked up quickly by merchants. Thanks, I understand a bit but can you tell me why this happens? Also, what's a good way to keep up with Grand Exchange updates. On a different note, I just bought a green mask for 10m and junk, am I going to profit in the long run? The grand exchange works on a first come first serve basis. Oldest and highest valid offer will get the first one of that item sold. There are a few websites out there that will make a noise or a pop-up when the GE beta page changes which is always before or after the GE actually updates. The GE updates at random times everyday so it's hard to predict when it will. If you payed 10M for a green mask you got a good deal. You'll be able to sell it once they stabilize again.

Can anyone provide some insight? Mostly I want to know if I can/should buy santa on G.E The lower rares, like Santa's and masks, will never be completely bought out so yes you will be able to buy one. Only buy a rare if you want to invest before quiting for a bit or if you have excess cash that you want to use on one. Never buy a rare if that's all your money you have even if that is your long term goal; always keep a few million to play around with.

Seems like the majority of the big items that crashed are going back up. Third age melee rebounded quite well, along with claws and AGS. The other third age is still a bit iffy, but it's better than it was 2 days ago.

First off.....joker2022 has been trying to spread false information on this thread for awhile. He doesn't provide any back up to his comments and has even flamed before resulting in his posts being hidden. Ignore him until he has a valid argument. I welcome any opposition to my opinions/statements as I'm not always right about something. Second...PvP is no where near fixed. A trusted friend of mine who is in one of the PvP trick clan chats has said as long as you have three people to do it with you can trick normally. It's no where near ruined, it's just hindered a little bit to solo trickers. @Bedman...I saw these posts and really believed him until my friend informed me otherwise. Remember...this is Jagex they were dumb enough to say how they killed drops instead of saying well we hurt drops a bit for trickers. They will of course be trying to say they did more than simply make it so you can't kill someone six times and receive max loot. I don't trick and I really don't play enough these days to test it.

Yesterday was a good day to try and get panic dumped unbuyable items. My friend managed to get three purples and a yellow without having an offer seconds after a GE update. Third age is selling for under mid now, with the exception of melee which is selling mid or so. The Elysian crash rumors that are going around are not true; however, the elysian did take a minor hit earlier today, but has rebounded now. There is a lot of sell offers for the Elysian now, which is kind of scary. Arcane and spectral are falling but, it's not too hard and you will be able to sell it at min overtime. Easters, disks, and pumpkins took a bit of the hit from panic selling, but they are still over 100M street with the exception of easters at 80M. Partyhats remain the same and white is creeping towards 300M :ohnoes:   That was basically what I was going to stay. To me it seems like a panic dump by everyone including some merchants. Personally, I was able to flip "crashing items" last night and turn ~20M and I'm currently buying some more "crashing" items to flip. The trick wasn't ruined, all it did was make it so only hardcore trickers can really profit from it because they need to organize two people to trick with instead of just one. Not at all. This happens every once in awhile by coincidence and combined with some of the players panicing that inflation is dead, some might have sold their hats and just caught it on a blue partyhat update day.

Found a smoking mils interview
This article just stresses the point that price manipulators are doing something very wrong if they have to stage questions and spread propaganda like that. :shame: People do get put in jail for gaining off the loss of others such as...Bernie Madoff. He's not smarter than the rest of the players, the rest of the players have morals and would rather make money honestly.

Leaked picture of a new rs interface?
I'm not sure what to think really. It just seems too good to be true. On the other hand it does look legit.....I'll just have to wait I guess. Em I asked a few j-mods could they tell me how long I player RuneScape for and they said couldn't due to the data protection act (I think that's what the law is called). So I'm wondering.... Never heard of it....MMG will tell anyone their play time if they PM him and he's not busy. Just don't ask in the CC he gets mad :ohnoes:.
