Attention all Offtopic Users...Project Offtopic is Underway
Agreed. I think it needs to be stressed that the only importance of the age 13 is that under that age, you shouldn't be on forums, period (isn't there a law?). Instead, people should see it as something suited for minors or not. Actually isn't it allowed if you have filled out all the COPPA forms? :?

Attention all Offtopic Users...Project Offtopic is Underway
The 13+ Forum arguement is invalid. I am well older than 13 and I was disturbed by some of the contents of various threads and some of the nasty posting that has only started within the last few months. Most of that material was not material someone aged 13 should be looking at no matter how you cut it. It is absurd to tell people to just not read the content if they think it will disturb them. That content shouldn't be there in the first place. This is a RuneScape Fan Site. Off topic is almost like an extra. The forum makes sense and could function without it. If you want to read and post sexually explicit content, visit a sexually expicit content forum or a forum where it is actually allowed and keep it off a game's forum. I cannot be more thankful some action is finally being taken. It was ridiculous with the amount of rubbish being housed in this forum. Nice work and good luck!!! :P

Please fill in this survey
I filled it in, but I did not include my age. :? I'd prefer to not give that out. ;) If you come across the age 0, that'd be me. :P Good luck with your survey!! :)

Password sharing
I use the same password for everything that doesn't really matter and I have complicated, unique passwords for things like TIF, RuneScape, Hotmail, IRC, etc... Places where I regularly post as 'Cowman_133', a place where someone could change my 'personality', and my personal things like my email. I'd never give out any of my passwords to anyone or they'd be able to access pretty much all my things. :? I don't even give out my bike combination.

UPDATED Finally new/old forum style!
Just remove newtopic from the view post page? I've never understood why it was there in the first place.. I looked around the UCP, but I couldn't find this option. How would I go about doing it? :|

UPDATED Finally new/old forum style!
All right looking a quite a bit better. :) Still don't like the New Topic and New Post next to each other at the top though. Especially with how slow some areas of the forums are being, clicking the wrong one is very annoying.

UPDATED Finally new/old forum style!
It is OKAY, but not the best. A few things I don't like is the New Topic AND Post Reply button at the top of the page and I tend to always click the wrong one. :wall: When you select the black theme on this one, the Moderators: section cannot be seen as it is also black. I don't like how each post streches and not the entire page either. The smilies are not transparentized very well, and I feel the themes at the top of the page is a little too close to the rest of the options. Personally I'd like to see it move down and go to the right of the page. Lastly I don't like the UCP setup at all for subsilver2. It is just so confusing. :| I know I am being very picky, but that's about all I dislike and you asked for opinions. :P Certainly isn't my favorite, but I might use it for a bit. ~The Cow~

Euh you used to be able to close Quotes like hide tags and set it to always close quote tags before?

New Forum Bugs - July 1st, 2008, 8:10 pm (UTC +10hr)
Yeah I liked that as well. Unfortunately that is not a question I can answer, nor a problem I can solve. So we will have to wait for one of our techies to check it out.. but as that is a cosmetic issue, it will not be at the top of their list of priorities. So hang tight. Another cosmetic thing I will just post so I don't forget is Closable Quote Tags. Anyways that is for when we are fine tuning things. ;)

Forum is coming back but :(
I imagine the squished smilies will be fixed later. For now, at least we have them. :) And more board colors are coming. There is a Suggest a Style PHPBB3 topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions where you can post a specific style you want to see.

New Forum Bugs - July 1st, 2008, 8:10 pm (UTC +10hr)
Almost every single member that has rejoined from being deleted after the rollback is being marked as TCE Member instead of the normal Chicken Feather rank. I am assuming this is just a configuration error. (Just take a look at the last few pages of the memberlist.)

No censor? No RuneScape.
I am not a terriblely large fan of the word 'damn' and I cannot see Jagex uncensoring it because some people do not wish to see it around at all. The word 'urine'... where is the need to say that word ingame? And crap I can understand because people use it like darn and dang and not in the sense of feces which actually gives it a use. Who cares if you can't say urine in game? Also I'll need to rewrite this article as it isn't cached and I found it to be poor anyways. ~The Cow~

What? :o Wasn't it you, Devoted, that turned it into a forum of it's own? :P

Thumbs Up System
I don't really have much to say after what Cruiser has said. I can't see the need for a rating system either. We've done without it for years and all it will do is destroy people's reputation if a certain group of users sets out to - as many posts of one user as possible. ~The Cow~

Thumbs Up System
I can already see users ganging up on one user and hiding his post even if it was legit. The mods do an absolutely splendid job already. This would be more work. I feel it will be used to judge the person rather than their post. To encourage positive, constructive messages, people should post that they agree manually. A + is almost like a +1 button. Anyways just my personal thoughts. ~The Cow~
