  1. Looking for an MMORPG on PC. Looking for: Good Graphics (much better than WoW and RS.) No reoccurring fee, or a decent enough F2P version. Not browser based. PvP and PvE/M being the main attractions. Various races/factions/classes. Steam game is a plus but not necessary. Specs are: Vista Home Premium x86 Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Sapphire Radeon HD4670 2GB RAM (will get another 2GB next time I go to a computer fair.)
  2. Sure, Australia would love to pitch in. Antarctica is internationally owned, i.e. no one country owns it. You sort of have to get general consensus, which is highly unlikely seeing as we don't know what you want to do.
  3. Going back a few pages through the thread will give you many idea, such as asking her if she wants to hang out sometime. Movies are not too good of an idea, but something like ice skating or rollerblading are good.

I love you man! Well I sent the video of the handicapped man being severly beaten to my friend and we had a discussion about how appauling it was that someone could do that to someone else. 10 minutes later, he sent me a video of a person being murdered, it was really .. yeah. Here's a description of what the killers did in the video and what they did to other people: [hide=]Most of the victims were killed using blunt objects, including hammers and steel construction bars. Blows were often directed at the victims' faces, leaving them unrecognizable. Many victims were also mutilated and tortured, and some had their eyes gouged out while they were still alive. One of the victims was a pregnant woman, whose fetus was cut out of her womb.[/hide] And then we just compared it to other videos we had previously seen which resulted in me watching them again to see if I'm still disgusted by them. :-X You have a stronger stomach than me, I still flinch sometimes when I watch movies. (Rorschach killing the man with a Clever in Watchmen makes me squeamish, yet the part where the fat guy had his arms sawn off didn't affect me.) For me it's seems to be a case by case thing.
  5. Really starting to like The Sandman. Excellent for stopping those blasted pyros when your team is constantly owned by 1 in payload. Also had some fun as a sniper. I was using the huntsman and me and another sniper (using the sniper rifle) headshotted each other at the same time. Now if only valve allowed local proxy support, so I could LAN with some other guys at TAFE. Stupid Tafe proxy. Why can't it just be implemented so that we don't have to worry about having programs with proxy support.
  6. If you use Vista (not sure how to in XP) the go to Start > Control Panel > Network And Sharing Centre and then on the left panel click on Set Up a Connection or Network. After that click on Set up an ad hoc (wireless computer to computer) network, click next, click next, give the network a name, change the security type to WPA2-Personal, and choose a password you will remember and write it down to be safe. Check Save this network and then click next. Once the network is set up there should be an option to Share My Internet Connection which you must click on, after it is set up close the window and enjoy connecting wirelessly. :D
  7. Urgh! You didn't update off the map I had, I'll add you and Pirate to my map, so that it's easier. I didn't add the southern bit that Hedgehog owns as I'm not sure if he gets just that right bit or both. [hide=MOST UP TO DATE LIST][/hide] EDIT: Photoshop changed the colour of the text on me.
  8. Pick a colour and I'll colour it in for you!
  9. Yeah, but it's very rare and it's easy to gain plausibility deniability by using a wireless router which you can easily reset so it uses the default password or no password at all. Me and my friends torrent many a GB a month and never have had any infringement notices. (Friend's dad has 200GB a month, and he uses uses it all up, mostly torrenting.) EDIT: I'm planning on going to a huge concert next year (Soundwave 2010, for those Aussies interested.) All of the bands I am going to see I like because I torrented them. If I never torrented I wouldn't have liked the bands, and wouldn't be going. It's a yearly thing too, so as long as the lineup is good I'll keep going.
  10. Only ones on Haven. What? When did you make AI? He's had them for ages. [hide=Mars Colony][/hide]
  11. Because AT&T can't handle it. In Aus most of the major Telecom companies have the iPhone, plus they can handle the usage. Oh, and we have MMS and Tethering, MMS is awesome. :) We don't have AT&T around here. Just noticed you are from Canada not USA. :wall: I really wish Australian Telecom companies would be nice and have unlimited data plans. It'd be worth not having Tethering capabilities in exchange for unlimited data. I really try to avoid going over my data. Really annoying when I forget to turn on wifi or the signal suddenly drops and I'm dling apps using the EDGE network, as I have 3G off when I don't need it.
  12. We're all going to go boom  3 posts to go. *grabs some popcorn*
  13. It probably isn't if it's the government doing it, since they can get away with anything, but it damn well should be. That's a good point. It's actually companies doing it. Seeing as the RIAA, MPAA and all their little gay groups are companies, they are breaking the law.

Was browsing Wikileaks at Tafe and now none of the pages will load, they haven't been blocked else it would have a page notifying me. It looks like this: [hide=][/hide] Looks like this when blocked: [hide=][/hide]
  15. YAY Pyros!!!!! <3
  16. I'd probably loose my sanity. I love technology too much to go without it.
  17. Because AT&T can't handle it. In Aus most of the major Telecom companies have the iPhone, plus they can handle the usage. Oh, and we have MMS and Tethering, MMS is awesome. :) To each his own. I have useful apps such as Shazam, Air Sharing, Air Mouse, Photogene, and my fave games are Tap Tap and Peggle.
  18. We already have a set of islands used for research and development, it is called Haven and has members from various countries, with more joining as all are allowed to join. No military is allowed within 10 miles of the islands, no military research or development and there are no secrets. Woah there tiger, calm down! We really need to enforce the "state a decent reason for annexing countries" rule. Any previous annexes will be allowed, but all future will require a decent reason. Things such as "I want more land" "I need to get oil from them" and "I felt threatend by Germania's large expansion" are not valid, but "To keep safe from Mage" is. ;) Also, to whoever updates the maps. Dungeonal still is in play and he owns Japan, so when you next update it please colour in Japan, thanks. :)

Stupid Swanny, Ruddy should fire him. Just confused all non-Aussies! \
  20. I hate tactile keyboards, plus with the iPhone the biggest thing is the apps and jailbreaking to use Cydia apps. (Lessthanthree SBSettings, Winterboard and MxTube.) Now I just need iBluetooth to work with the 3GS and Apple to chill out about some apps, mainly Google Voice, which needs to be released for Aussies soon.
  21. I sent a security force of 600 up with the colony, for if anything got out of hand. Also, how are you doing for resources? I'm planning on shipping up more people and supplies once my shuttles are completed, anything to add that might be worth bringing? Not meaning to belittle you, but Australia has sent some soldiers up to Mars already, but some extra hands can't hurt, can they? For now I guess they'll be used for things like heavy moving and testing to improve coping with differences in gravity and such. I reminded Ross shortly after he posted about the colony that he forgot to mention me, sorry if it has confused anyone, and I don't blame Ross as he fixed it. Also, I mentioned that I was part of Haven a while ago too, are my posts getting deleted or something? EDIT: The bone replacement mineral will not work, for it removes many of the bones uses and functions which the minerals could not perform. (Sorry if it is not a mineral, I am going off memory as searching back is too tedious, if only the OP still posted on here as we need a way to index some of these changes and such.)
  22. In Calafornia the largest fine for stealing a CD is $1,000 the largest fine for filesharing the CD (say it has 10 songs on it) is $150,000. Stealing are criminal cases and are more lenient than a civil filesharing case. Yeah, I'm with that idea, even some artists hate the record labels. NIN now release their music themselves. I also love it when bands let you have songs for free. I pirate all my music and movies aand pirated a few games, which are not worth buying. I'd definately go to concerts of most of the bands, and I wish they had a donate button, which goes directly to them. If bands released their music on bittorrent and linked to their site which had a donate button people would be more likely to pay them.
  23. It's now a variable servers can have. I love waiting till 2 seconds left and say "Hey, what time is it?"
  24. Oh me too. Hmmmm. We can discuss this matter later. Ok, I am in Adv. Applications class atm. (Very boring, is Word, Excel, Power Point and Access as well as integrating it, we are doing Excel at the moment. I have lunch next and then Hardware, we will be watching videos or slideshows so we can talk then. All countries have a military force. Then you have to factor in the fact that not all people would like for someone to invade their country, and you'd have the citizens to worry about, and they like to strike when you can't defend against it.
  25. Were you alive at that time?... I know I was, best times of my life. Only worries were what game to play, and having like no responsibilities. There were no girl troubles too, we just avoided each other. Kids these days don't know what they're missing out on.
