  1. jl;ke211 Not that bad...
  2. No problem and don't worry, this thread wont die.
  3. I think most of them look really nice. :D
  4. Very nice piece, I love the shading on it. Some C/C: ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Maybe add some detail to the buildings, especially the one Spiderman sits on. That one is in the foreground, so it could really use some detail. Right now, Spiderman is really detailed, but the buildings aren't, so he looks a bit out of place to me. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ I also think you should use some darker shadows on Spiderman, although he looks great already. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ I think the clouds in the background don't really look realistic, they look a little bit like waves... :? But overall, great job, I love this sig. 8.5/10. :
  5. V2 looks great, the border goes very well with it. Great job. :)
  6. Agreed. The line work you made isn't that good, and the piece lacks shading. I would recommend you to look at some pixel tutorials, there are some great ones here at TIF. Good luck. :)
  7. It's very busy (which is not really my style), but I think it looks good, and I like the colors you used. Good job. :)
  8. Nearly there, keep it up!

Not funny at all, and a bad fake. At least put some effort into it before posting. -.-
  10. Looks great, I love the moon. My only C/C would be that the girl's left hand and foot look a bit weird, but that will probably be fixed when you shade her. Overall, nice pixel, I would like to see the finished version. :)
  11. Wow, very nice, I love the panorama. Great job. : (I can't really C/C, since I know nothing about photography... )
  12. In my opinion, CC is way more useful than ratings. Ratings dont help you in any way, it doesnt help you improve on anything. Maybe you feel good about a nice rating for a few seconds, but thats all. Please read the CC that has been given to you, and try to do something with it. Woopidoo has the right of it. Ratings are ego boosts. I liked ego boosts myself when I started out pixelling, and I asked for ratings. Then it dawned on me that replies like "very good" or "9/10 good job" don't actually tell you anything. I didn't want to just be told some number that anyone can throw at me. So, ok, I got a 9... but how can I get a 10? Well... I don't know, because all anyone told me was "9/10 good job". (not meaning offense to people that did say this) Comments and criticisms are the things that help you get those 10s. Rik was giving you great criticisms, and if you want your art to be seriously considered here then listening and taking on board crits is the best way to go about it. Granted, as you said, you're satisfied with your piece, and that's all that matters. I agree with that. But when you come to The Gallery with an image, Gallery vets will crit it to the best of their ability in order to help you improve. I won't give you a rating - it's not what I do. ;) I think it's alright. Not good, not amazing, it's alright. I don't want to repeat everyone else's C/C because I think they've covered everything. My advice? Check out some pixelling tutorials and anatomy sites. There is little to no shading there, odd anatomy and a rushed background. Check out the tuts, they help. A lot. (really) Sorry for the lecture - it's a reflex when I see people who refuse perfectly good help that took time to type out. Some great advice there. Yes, take a look at some of the tutorials here on TIF, they're great. Off-Topic: Good to see a post from you Faelenof, I haven't seen you around for a while, so... welcome back? : :anxious:
  13. This sounds really weird. He says he's not using userbarmaker.com, but he can't do black primary text or more than 2 images. And I highly suspect he is and that goes against this rule: You must post original work when creating a shop or when offering help. You may not make a shop which uses material you have not contributed to yourself. Your final products must include roughly 50% of your own material, final judgement on this standard will be up to Bazaar/Gallery Mods. If you're not fair enough, but if you're not using that site, it seems you are using similar one. Sorry if you aren't, it might just be the program you use, which I don't know. Come clean if you are. Agreed, it all sounds a little bit fishy, but sorry if I'm wrong.
  14. Level =\= Intelligence. No, but level generally corresponds with knowledge about the game. Someone who is level 110 is far more likely to abide by the rules of the game and be helpful to the community than someone who is level 60... Not true, maybe the person just doesn't like training combat, who knows? :-s
  15. If you think that, then why post it? :-s EDIT: Wrong Forum BTW...
  16. Nice for a first, but I think you shade a lot by random scribbling on it. Now, this type of shading is not always bad, but I think you use it a bit too much. Try using dithering to make nice textures, or 'normal' shading for things like armor, weapons, etc.. You can also take a look at some of the great pixel tutorials here on TIF, they are very useful. Overall, good job for a first, I would rate you a 7/10. :)
  17. Great job, it looks really nice. :D P.S.: Kah Bah Gee!!
  18. Interesting piece, dolphin looks good so far. :)
  19. Not that bad, the anatomy on the legs is a bit off though. For the background, maybe add a Barrows brother, I don't know. Overall, good job. :)
