It is easy to avoid "noobs" (i.e. scammers, hackers, spammers etc) as they congregate in certain areas. I created a new pure and I dont think I was once called a noob but did have many good conversations and some people became awestruck when I told them about my other accounts :P Yea theres tonnes of them but easy to avoid, they only annoyed me when I was pking. 1 itemers and such, tagging, pjing all time. But they are easy fodder if you find them skulled, just pot where they cant see you and dds spec them :twisted:

It happens at school because people are immature and usually a label is a derogatory one used to make them feel lower and highten there own self esteme. A form of bullying in other words. Once you have left school you rarely get this as people dont act this way in the real world. Everybody makes judgements on people, you naturally do, its the ability to change your opinions by getting to know them that is important.

I work in a pub and after a sleepness night I had to do a 13 hour shift.... So on my break I went and got this huge block of chocolate and a bottle of coke. Or so I thought, it was pepsi max and I drank about 2 litres of it and turned me hyper, my hands were shaking and everything. During a shift one og my favourite songs came on the jukebox and I happily sang to it... in front of the bigest piss takers ever. The following Friday they arranged for the DJ to put it on and dragged me up (literaly, I was covered and told I was sacked if I didnt do it....) to sing in front of everybody! It was cringing as I cant sing and was dying of embaressment singing in front of the whole pub. The DJ then got the CD to play with the words showing on a TV, that went alot better surprisingly as I didnt stare out at the crowd and concentrated on reading the words. Now I'm up there all the time! :lol:

hehe :P for some people its a way of life I'm pretty sure he just blew the story up to make it more interesting to read. Yea I know he did that, but the sad fact is that he is right. As I said He did make a point for emphasis but I didn't see it that way as if you take the time to look on the official forums people do act like he said. My point being the RS Community is down the trash heep. Thank god there is a haven called TIF. :D

I would have to say my favourite was ancient magic, followed closely by tb. Release of tb gave me my magic goal and ancient magic made the goal I made the most enjoyable part of RS. I cant forget the update to runecrafting in the form of the abyys either. Runecrafting was the means in which I reached my goals without spending a fortune on it. I set the goal up of 85 magic when I was around 60ish and when I set myself up to raise runecrafting my powercrafting fire runes the abyys came out. I wouldn't have got so far in either runecrafting, magic or fletching for that matter if there was no abyys and it became my sole source of income. Still got 500+ dueling rings in my bank though :lol:

If anything it means prayer is more effective and you can have lower prayer. With this armour you may be able to have 31 prayer and not constantly run out when smited. Very interesting possibilities....

I'm sure most people werent actually TERRIFIED, but come on for the love of Mike its called making your writing interesting to read. I would agree with you if they were just "buzz words" but if you were to check out the rants on the official forum you would realised people do act like he says and make threads screaming about something like 3 year olds about something that really doesn't matter. There are too many idiots who play this game and moan about the tiniest little thing when Jagex provides such a great game for a messly ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã3.20 a month, they should be happy with what they get and not moan when the tiniest thing happens that isn't to their liking. This thread, while it is well thought out is not really needed. Servers went down, people couldn't get on their accounts for a while, no need to post about it.

I enjoy Sci-fi and fantasy. The best sci-fi author I have read is Asimov, I read the whole series and it is a compeling read with such a great twist at the end, wont spoil it for you though :P I read all the space oddesys and they are great books, film doesnt match up to it imo. I have moved on to fantasy since then after reading Lord of the Rings, which is still probably my favourite book/series. I read David Eddings books and they are brilliant, couldnt put them down from start to finish, with a group of characters which rivals lotr. However David Eddings writes a similar background to lotr, but the books I am reading now are completely different. Raymond E. Feist introduces me to a fantasy book which plot is completely unpridictable and characters are nothing like any I have read before. I am thoroughly enjoying these books :D

I dont know whats the big deal, I'm a rcer and I love suiting up and fighting back. I simply dont rc pk because it is boring and not worth the time. I didn't like going in mage outfit, using 6 spaces for teles instead of food and having to bring full mellee gear if I wanted to defend myself against another pker. For me it is a bad technique to pk with and thats why rc pkers get flamed.

From the little I know about Scientology I think its a cult. Imo a cult is simply a act of a religion which collects money off people and goes into someones pockets rather than being a non-profit organisation that benefits society. I dont care what people believe in but what morals they have and at the heart of all religions is a moral basis on how to live life. I am not a strong religous person but I am glad I have had a religous upbringing to give me the morals I have today. Scientology seems strange to me and it may offer some answers to some people (evan though it seems to be based on a fictional book) but I firmly disagree with these cults getting "donations" to line their pockets with. Seems like a big con to me.

no they made it a week ago duh? But they could have planned it before construction was released, I think so anyways. The way they work is they plan and have teams making seperate projects. This is all done simutaniously. There is no doubt a project management chart and they go through each stages of develoment with a quality time plan in place. I did project management at college and it is quite complicated as you have to work out the quickest route and then work out how long you can work on one piece before the next one which requires it. A undertaking this big would require major planning and they would have a department on it. So dont say they dont plan things :P

rofl i found that halarious. BUT ! A FLAW , kbd kq and 2 dags have range attacks. id vote kq, none of them other monsters can drop a dragon chain so she wins. Draggonath drops some pretty nifty stuff and Jad reward is fire cape. Fire cape > Dragon chain any day of the week :P

Well its been a whole month since I quit and I havent been on main or pure much at all. This has conincided with me getting full time hours in work and I am glad I have quit. My day revolves around work now, not going on RS around work.... It has helped work as people have noticed that I have been working harder and I did 10 extra hours last week and they appreciate my work. Work is going very well now, although I am a little fragile this morning as I went on the piss last night :P

Looks a tad boring, I do however think that its the way a skill should be. Construction was made to put houses in the game and be a money sink at the same time. Hunting will just be a skill that attracts players to do it if they give good rewards. My main account has lost membership, however my pure hasnt but I dont think I will train this on that, if I want to do it I'll do it on my main. I am waiting until we see some good rewards *Hopes to see slayer-esk reward!* Edit: Been looking at the rewards and I think they will add higher creatures later on... level 69 is the highest level and the skill looks distinctly lacking. I think more will come after next weeks quest and introduce high level creatures that give better rewards. Edit2: I found out imps give you a "wish" this means it banks one item for you... think of the possibilities this gives... we have been asking for faster banking for things like mining for ages and this will greatly aid the skill.

I am sick of whiners, give Jagex the time, people protesting that it is late? It is the 20th and Jagex simply said it would be out this month, if it doesnt get released by the end of the month then you can whine, but not before!

To Rebdragon: most people go with people they trust to the Draggs as evan if you are all vets slip-ups can happen and people can die. You should have made it clear that you wouldn't go unless you agree on give-backs and how you share drops. In reality most people have a limit to what they would give back depending on how much they have in their bank and how much they can make. It's all relative, I'm guessing you you must have at least 40m+ networth. If someone died with a blue phat, you know you would be setup for life in rs, so does greed take over friendship? It is simply how much would it take for this to happen and unfortunatly nearly everybody (well everybody obsessed with the game) has these.
