How Could the Holocaust Happen? - A Social Experiment
That's actually an incredibly clever way of demonstrating how they came to power, that will definitely stick in someone's head rather than some boring crap out of a history book. She did forget to mention though they initially came to power due to their nationalistic policies and insanely successful propaganda during the worst economic period up until today, quite possibly worse. Then again, it would be rather hard to incorporate that into her demonstration.

Best Games.
Realistic my arse. They can use Desert Eagles man. The recoil on those is huge... Both national forces in it using DE are elite forces, it's safe to say their trained in how to use Desert Eagles. The militants, well they're just [bleep]ing nuts. Either way though, it is the most realistic war game I've played so far, and I'd say the vast majority of people who love war games will agree. My favorite games = CoD4 Grand Theft Auto series, most notably San Andres, 4 was just trying to make something ridiculous realistic Fable 1 and 2 Age of Empires WoW Tiger Woods series.

Run-ins with the law
Currently waiting on to see if I'm getting charged with assault or just getting an ASBO, lovely thing to wait for. Other than that, nothing more than usual stuff for people <18, underage drinking, drinking in public, loitering, being searched when they stop us etc. Usually means nothing more than them taking the drink and telling us to piss off. Have a warning for wasting police time though :|

do you agree with current school policy?
I think it should be made more similar to work places. Constantly handing in late material in a professional or well run workplace will quickly have you jobless, in most schools it's met with nothing more than a "on-time next time please Jimmy". Ah well, if a student isn't willing to do the work in school, they'll have a rather unpleasant surprise when it comes to college and then working life after that.

Will I get held back?
Think that's a joke? If you fail every single subject on your JC (Irish version of GCSE's) you can still go on to sit 7 subjects for your LC (Irish version of A levels) American educational system sounds either extremely serious or easy, not sure what to choose on. Right now, I'd say the average for my year in maths will be around 50-60%, and we're in the top 20 schools in Ireland, extremely hard test with a lazy year of students = C average. I've got a friend stressing over her Junior Cert (I think they are), apparently she doesn't even need to then. Over here if you don't pass your GCSE's they'll try and push you into vocational 'education' where you can learn to be a bricklayer or a hairdreser or something... I did it last year, honestly junior cert was created for what used to be a common occurrence, people leaving school at 16 with no qualifications so now they at least have some form of qualification. Of course since it's extremely irregular now to not finish school the JC is nothing more than an overemphasized summer test. The only thing it really has a say in is class streaming and whether they'll be able for honour or ordinary subjects.

School Start Times
My school: Monday - Friday excluding Wednesday is 8.45 to 3.30, often first class is joke subjects like religion / computers so it doesn't really matter if you're late. Wednesday = 8.45 to 1.05 but for the vast majority of students in the school there is Rugby from 2 to 6 afterwards, for "Freshman" and "Juniors / Seniors" there's usually some form of Rugby / training after school Monday to Friday if you're playing the state championships, it's taken pretty seriously. If you don't play Rugby in my school, it's a pretty easy life then. I was in a French school for a whole term / semester this year, count yourselves lucky you're not in there 8 till 5.30 Monday to Friday excluding Wednesday, if you're in boarding, it's law that 2 hours of study must be done afterwords.

We don't know what your schools like so we can't tell you if you'll be held back. How though......did you manage 104% and 103% scores? If you do get held back, hate that, extremely strict school.

McDonalds Is Good For You!
I eat McDonalds 4-6 times a day(4 during summer, 6 during winter), 7 days a week. Trust me, I'd admit it if I like it, but I'm not a fan. I've never quite understood why people would eat it if It makes them sick, or if they think it makes them fat. It honestly isn't worse for you than a lot of things you would cook at home if those are the kinds of foods you like to eat. I'm technically overweight, but that's because A) I play sport for a living. (I have a part time job to cover social expenses) B) It's the off season. C) I'm apparently an alcoholic. It's perfectly reasonable to enjoy eating food that is cheap, tasty and convenient. You're overweight because you eat McD 4 to 6 times a day. That's the reason you're overweight. Stop finding excuses for that. And oh, if that's how you cook at home you really should learn to cook better/other things/healthier. Personally, I eat McD a few times a year. I have no need for it, at all. Don't see what I would be missing out on. The McDonalds will help that, but on an average night out you'll consume twice to three times as much calories in beer than a standard McDonalds meal, a 500ml can of Budweiser has roughly 500 calories in it, more than a large chips from McDonalds. Perhaps that's the food he likes? Heard of opinions lately? People have differing opinions / tastes / likes, if that's what he likes then let him eat it and stop being such a [puncture] about it.

Summer...
I'm finished school now but I have to do 2 weeks work experience to pass the year. Summer, was going to be good, now it looks terrible. A while back I was in a fight, so now I have to put my summer wages towards the guys medical bill, sell my Christmas present which was a ticket for Ireland's biggest music festival and put it towards his medical bill, and to top it off I'm quite likely getting a criminal record, the DCP is still deciding in whether to caution me or press charges. Other than that, it's going to be 3 months of working, drinking and hanging out with friends. It wont be anything exceptional, but there'll be some good nights and it's better than school. Irish summer weather = extremely unpredictable and irritating, one moment it can be 20 degrees and then suddenly it's poring rain.

Welfare in your country
We have "jobseekers" benefit though no unemployment welfare, which is seriously abused by drug addicts, alcoholics and general wasters going no where in life. All they do is collect their money on tuesday, and spend it on drugs / drink over the next week, then they'll repeat it again. Problem is with it though, if someone loses their job it doesn't scale with their previous job's wages for a reasonable period like some other countries. Meaning if someone on 400,000 euro a year loses their job to the recession, has to pay 5000 euro a month in mortgages and there only receiving roughly 300-400 euro a week in benefits while trying to sustain their family, they're rather screwed.

Sri Lankan Protestors
Why does it always have to be "soldiers put in"? Whoever said "go over with your soldiers and liberate us", there is many other simple solutions for helping in the strife. Placing financial sanctions on Sri Lanka could be beneficial, agreeing not to trade with them until it ceases. Of course, this is only viable if the aggressor in this is the government party in power, otherwise it's pretty much useless. The US has no business either putting their soldiers in Sri Lanka, or any other country at that until it poses a risk to US security (and that doesn't constitute terrorist groups with no government backing)

Zombie Plans-Revised
Petrol bomb perhaps, would make it more fun to light and sure, if we're facing unpreventable doom we might as well have some fun right?

My rant
Yeah man, and when girls get raped it's their fault too, if they don't wanna get raped they shouldn't drink or dress provocatively! Blaming the victim  Are you seriously comparing a crime on the scale of rape to a person being used for grades? =D> He isn't a victim, he just doesn't have the balls to say no and only do his share of the work. There's a huge difference between being raped, and being used for grades. The first, well unfortunately is pretty much unpreventable, the latter, all that takes is the balls to say "no". Why the hell would he want to keep in the good books of work parasites? They deserve everything that comes back at them when school is over. Socially, it doesn't matter. You're better off if people see you as a '[bleep]' in school then watch in envy as you succeed in later life. Actually, the vast majority of the time the people who will succeed are those of standard intelligence or better, but with great social skills. You can have an IQ of 140, but if you don't have the skills to talk yourself into a higher position or if you're not able to manipulate someone in your benefit, it's going to take a lot longer to reach the top. I've seen more "parasites" succeed in life than I've seen the quiet and easily manipulated guy who sits in the corner reading books all day, stop thinking intelligence is all you need to succeed in life.

My rant
Boohoo, grow a pair and say no. Honestly, I use people like you all the time in school, until till you say no it isn't going to stop. Taking a hit now will leave you with more time in the future for these projects. It's just as much your fault as it is theirs for allowing them to use you. Going to the teacher, you'll be considered nothing more than a rat, it's going to only do you good in possibly making them work, most people these days will shrug off a teacher giving out to them anyway. Socially? It'll just make you look like a [bleep].

scariest game
Condemned is scary, more scary than anything I've ever played. It didn't make me jump so much, it's just that some of the settings can be related to real life so easily (the maps and some character, not the genetic mutants and the likes obviously). The school level on Condemned, wow, the layout is pretty similar to my school and some moments....well......they're pretty damn scary.

Pope Endorses Palestinian State
Both sides have their equal share of disgusting savages, the IDF have their fair share as well. Obviously when the original land belonged to the Palestinians they're going to be pissed, how would you like for tens of thousands of Irish to inhabit where you live know because we were persecuted forcing you and your family off your land? (Hypothetical situation obviously) Another logic filled post from you, you hypocritical [puncture].

Sri Lankan Protestors
In civilized countries we call that blackmail. 1. It's not blackmail if you don't hold something over their head. 2. Why wouldn't you try to go for peace? Seriously, they're protesting for a reason, and in this case it's a damn good one. Why in the hell should I care about what's happening in Sri Lanka? It's called sympathy, you seem to be turning into more and more of an apathetic [puncture] with every topic you create. Civil war breaks out in Canada, members of your family are killed, you lose your home and are living in terror of being killed, you call on the outside world to help you or try to raise awareness? Should we care at all? Hypocrisy at the minimum. Robert, what's your definition of logic? It seems to defy the common definition of it.

Legal question. (USA)
If technically everything is in his name, I.e registration, the insurance, tax etc and you're just what's called a "named driver" (allowed drive it under his policy) she has no right what so ever to try and take the truck from you or immobilize it, doing so would either be theft or vandalism against your father and he would be able to press charges. Afaik, custody has absolutely nothing to do with naming people under your policy and there's no loophole to get around for your mother about custody. Don't worry, you don't have to sue your mother, your dad might have to though.

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
I never heard of that and if anything I think it would make it worse considering there would be less oxygen and nutrients reaching the muscles during the workout. Sounds more like an urban myth than anything, same as pink eye.

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
Any of you guys taking supplements? Been on some pretty [cabbage]ty stuff till now, it's cheap but there's no great results from it. As soon as I get my summer job, I'm doing 3 months on the BSN mass stack (It's 3 different supplements, 2 of which are meant to be done on 3 month cycles, the 3rd item is only effective if taken with the other 2) and I'm thinking Optimum Nutrition Gold X for my protein, seems pretty good, both Whey and Casein in each serving meaning the Whey is quick release while the Casein is slowly released hours after the workout. Any recommendations on supplements? And yes, I'd call a "max" a single rep of the highest you can do, usually if you can do a 2nd or a 3rd rep, you should be able to throw 5-10 extra on to it and do 1 of that.

you'r biggest FML?
Done that plenty of times while drunk, one time I didn't notice and the filter was burning properly, burnt the inside of my mouth / throat and my lungs hurt for the next day or two. Breaking a tooth while trying to drink a bottle of beer, hard to do.

2011/12 Football Season
They had to "smuggle" him out of London during the early morning hours because of various death threats sent to him by Chelsea fans according to a newspaper I was reading this morning, pretty funny.
