[/hide] Aren't feasible? [cabbage]. Don't think you are doing it tough because you work a normal job with a normal social life. How many other people working 40 hour a week jobs manage to find time for it? How about 50, 60, 70, 80 hour weeks? You CHOOSE to limit your time there, nobody tells you when you can work out but yourself. Every single one of my clients has better gains using simple supplements rather than stacks by subtracting the extra cost and putting that time back into the gym or competitive sport. They can use the money they save for more important things, like their family, which is why that's what I recommend doing. So you spend all your money on drink, smokes, clothes and going out? Why not save up for a car, a house, investments, properties, instead of pissing it all away? Sure, you enjoy doing it, but is it the best long term option? You are explaining to me that you are making what I perceive to be stupid choices in life. I never said you were wrong, I never TOLD you what to do. You ASKED for advice, then you reject it and treat people like crap because you don't agree with it. How very American of you. 1. I'm choosing between a social life and gym, right now I'm getting the best of both and enjoying it, I'm finding more than enough time for the Gym, 8 intense hours a week does me fine. 2. Family? I'm 16, have you not noticed I've said that at least once yet in this thread, quite likely more. 3.1 I'm 16, a house isn't going to happen for at least 10 years and I'm not going anywhere near the property market till Ireland's no longer in a recession. The 3000 euro I'll get in total from my summer job wouldn't even cover the deposit on a house here. 3.2 Car, insurance prices in Ireland are insanely high for younger drivers, on average 60% higher than that of Britain, higher than that on mainland Europe as well. I'm starting on a motorbike (which I have already) to build up a no claims bonus. 3.3 Pissing it all away? I've an attitude to life then quite different to yours, my perception is a good life is one spent thoroughly enjoyed, not amassing material possessions. When the time comes for property, cars, families I'll work my [wagon] for them, like everything else I've worked for in life, my Iphone, my Motorbike, my good quality clothes, I'm not some little spoiled [cabbage], everything I have in life of value to me I've worked my [wagon] off for. 4. Treat people like crap? If your perception of my attitude is treating people like crap then I'd say you're on par to me if not worse, as you seem to be trying to force your opinion on me. Didn't notice I'm from Ireland did you? There's no point in continuing with this, at this stage we're both just being hypocritical and neither of us are going to sway one another's opinion, just drop it, what you're suggesting simply isn't feasible for me, I'm not in a position to call what hours I work. Also, my personal trainer recommended the supplements to me, he's highly acclaimed so I'd prefer to follow his advice than some random TIF user, no offense intended. On-Topic: Gone up 3Ib's in the last 2 days, new Mass gainer I'm on is working amazingly. 1250 calories and 50g of protein per serving 8-). Maxed on squat today, went up by 15lbs from what it last was, pretty happy.

Does your vote count?
One person's vote rarely does actually matter, but when everyone starts thinking "Hey, my vote doesn't matter at all" is when it truly does start to matter.

Tip.It's Cook Book!
My own "Protein packed flapjacks" 100g of butter 300g of cereal oats 50g of brown sugar 200g of assorted Musli (seeds, berries etc) 50g of high quality Whey protein supplement. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the oats and wait until browned, then add the sugar and Muesli. Keep stirring once until the sugar starts to caramelize holding the various particles together in a type of "paste", once this happens, add the protein and stir quickly for a minute allowing the protein to mix in completely. While adding the protein I usually turn the heat off, once the minute is up the flapjack "paste" is a nice consistency and I then shape it into about 4 medium sized flapjacks, leaving them to cool and settle in the fridge for about a hour. Good for bodybuilders due to the large amount of protein and calories.

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
I work 7 days a week. Training 4, game day 1, part time 3. No, that doesn't make 8 days. Monday is very light training in the afternoon, so I work in the mornings. I do find it hard to believe that you have money lying around with nothing better to spend it on, I'm just pointing out the fact that if it costs you say, $130 more for a 3 week supply than just the basics, that's an extra 3 hours a week you could be spending in the gym, which I believe is more beneficial for you. Before I got my supplements for free, that's exactly what I did and it's what I'll go back to doing if I ever get delisted. Look, I'm putting this simply. I work 5 days a week, a minimum of 9.30 till 6. When I get home, I go out with my friends, I'll usually be out till 12-1 so I can't work out when I'm home. On the 2 days a week I have off, I play golf to keep my handicap below 2 so I can keep my place on the state team. My money, I have nothing better to spend it on than drink, smokes, clothes and nights out as I can't drive and I have everything else I pretty much want. Considering I'm already going out of my way to go to the gym 4 days a week (getting up 6.30 4 times a week), I want the best results for the limited time I have there, therefore I'm taking supplements and just so you know, in comparison to 4 days of supplements or going to the gym 5-6 times a week on standard Whey protein, I'm having better gains with the supplements. I work a 40 hour a week, manage to get to the gym 4 times a week for 2 hours and maintain a social life, I'm really in no mood being told how to "improve" it when I'm quite happy with it and your "improvements" simply aren't feasible for most people.

Funny things to do in an elevator
Well I have a nack for farting in packed elevators and then looking at the most vulnerable person in the evlevator and say "Now for Christ's sake that's just plain rude" I've stopped saying it to old people, I sort of felt bad after a while when I noticed it confused them. It isn't funny, but I've always tried to convince my GF for a quickie in the elevator, no success as of yet :|

Well, after spending 60 euro on Nitrix by Bsn today, it turns out you're not supposed to drink alcohol while you're taking it, hopefully I can get my money back #-o Body weight up to 190 now and got my bench up to 235, first time I've maxed in a while, took 4 attempts to get my arm fully straight  First time I was in the Gym over 2 hours for a while, it felt pretty damn good 8-)

Possible Missing Link
One step closer to undeniable evidence! Huzzah for Atheists throughout the world![/sarcasm] Meh, let people believe in what they want, I'm atheist but I really couldn't give a [bleep] about someone's religion once they don't impose it on me or start acting extremist. Pretty cool find though, amazing it was found over 25 years go and we're only hearing about it now.

Do YOU Wear a Helmet While Riding a Bike/Skateboard/Other?
[/hide] Which is why I'm not bothered to wear an helmet. Spend 75 dollars on a helmet? That is un-reusable once crashed? No thanks. How many crashes is your head good for which would mean a helmet needing replacement? That logic is seriously flawed, if you think it's highly unlikely you'll ever fall and cause your head some serious damage, then doesn't it operate on the same scale with a helmet? I.e if you're not going to wreck your head, what makes you think you'll wreck a helmet?

Run-ins with the law
Yes, but they'll never enforce that. I can be fined 3000 euro by the law in my school and possibly imprisoned for up to 6 months, law throughout public and private schools in Ireland. The fact that they even called the police is extremely strict, in my school it's a choice of 20 euro fine or calling your parents and telling them you were caught smoking. Guess what the obvious choice is. Funnily enough, they DO enforce it, to try and make the kids learn. My old primary school principal did 14 days for it, and 60 days for drinking. Numerous office employees at my high school were fined/given orders/suspended sentences. Not because it's a school, but because it's government property. The kids generally just get court orders, probation, ropes courses, curfew, etc, as well as 10 days suspension. Get suspended for more than 20 days in a year, and you are automatically expelled. The courts here tend not to punish anybody under 18 for anything. Court order for Smoking on school property, is that for tobacco or Marijuana? Out of curiosity, what's a "ropes" course. God bless Ireland's revolving door Law system, I doubt I'd face half of those punishments for my impending Assault trial.

Run-ins with the law
I've heard it all before, typical propaganda fed to them by the school. They wont even investigate it for themselves, when they heard I did MDMA one night, everyone thought I was on the latest form of crack or something, they don't even know what MDMA is and the fact that it's practically impossible to overdose on as long as it's clean.

Exams
I've already done my 4: Irish English Maths French. Irish got the A in, fluent in it English probably B - A, not sure, definitely a B or better anyway Maths, same as English pretty much French, yet again same as English. I'm going to get at least a B in all of the subjects, most likely an A in 3 of them but as the year is marked on continual assessment, I don't think I'll be passing the year as I haven't worked hard until now and I took an entire term of school and went to France.

Do YOU Wear a Helmet While Riding a Bike/Skateboard/Other?
Rather high actually, considering most of the time you'll probably be falling on to concrete and your brain is actually pretty vulnerable? Out of deaths from falls on bicycles, head injuries lead by a lot when you take out the risk of being run over by other vehicles. Know why they protect the top of your head? It's because it's actually rather easy to hurt that area in a blunt impact =D>

Making Friends
They're clearly not friends if they're only hanging out with you to have access to your Runescape account. Me thinks troll, surprised no ones mentioned this yet.

Supplement wise, I'd think just whey protein, C, B, glucosamine and a multi would do you. I honestly think these packages are a waste of money. That extra money you are spending translates to time you could be spending in the gym. My job isn't so flexible I decide when I work and when I don't want to. I work 5 days a week and still get to the gym 4 days a week so it's perfect for me. I'll have a huge amount of money lying around so I don't care about the price if it's worth the tag, and the results I've seen from my 4 friends on the exact same thing speak for that. Not to mention my gym's supplement shop has the BSN mass-stack package at 30% off right now and 10Ib bags of ON Gold X to clear. Dude you're 12, I didn't even know what a "Bench" or a "Squat" was back then, chill out and take it slow. You're only going to cause yourself back injuries and quite possibly deform your back if you start doing a lot of heavy weights now.

They called the cops just because you were smoking at school? What did you light up in the principals office or something close to that?

Do YOU Wear a Helmet While Riding a Bike/Skateboard/Other?
Having worked in a bike shop for the last 2 years in the middle of Dublin, meaning I see commuters and bike couriers daily, all I have to say is not using a helmet is [developmentally delayed]ed. I had a customer about 3 weeks ago, bought a commuting bike, I tried to sell her a helmet, she said she wanted to look "cool" on her bike. She came in 3 days ago, the top of her head and her arms covered in cuts and stitches, she'd swerved to avoid hitting a car, hit a curb and went through a bus shelter head first. Was in the ICU for 2 days and in a normal hospital ward for 8 days after that due to the bloodloss, she finally had decided to buy a helmet  And a bit of professional advice, the vast majority of helmets under say 50$ offer very little protection, it's nothing more than a layer of plastic over your head a lot of the times, if it doesn't fit properly, then egg shells would probably be more effective. The higher up the scale you go, the better quality of helmet and the safer they are and many of the top brands have a half-price replacement scheme for when you do eventually crash, it is your noggin your putting inside it after all. Most importantly, helmets are only good for 1 crash where they get hit, not countless ones over and over as they work on compression zones. If it's compressed from a crash, it will offer no protection at all.

electronic cigarettes
It will be extremely helpful for if quitting smoking, but they just look ridiculous smoked in public :| As Lateralus said, I want the real thing, and until the day I quit I'd rather have my traditional toxin filled tobacco.

Run-ins with the law
Meh, give a bunch of country folk cop cars in a large city on a boring Friday / Saturday night and they'll find some form of law to enforce. I've had my smokes confiscated from me and my name taken just because they knew I was most likely drinking but had no proof  Out of the other 15-20 times I've been searched by cops, they'd never take my smokes, the occasional one would even ask for a smoke before going on his way. From what I've heard though, Britain and Ireland are much more lenient though on Cannabis than most American states with the exception of California and the likes. My friend was caught with 2000 euro worth of Cannabis resin and 500 euro cash, it was obviously confiscated, he was fined and cautioned. Never even stepped foot inside a court for it. Kenish, it isn't that it's cool really, it's just a social trend now. 17/18 - Mid 20's go to nightclubs, usually people 30+ will go to pubs, people <18, they'll go to the local park and get pissed. I don't know, I've been doing both since I was 14, never did it because I thought it made me cool, just made it a more fun night.

How Could the Holocaust Happen? - A Social Experiment
Also Germany's terms of surrender (or loss? Unimportant) after the first world war. That would give him something to focus his nationalistic policy on. That, though, is probably the best way to teach that particular area of history. That's what I meant be nationalistic policies, defying the Treaty of Versailles and rebuilding Germany to it's once greater power (basically before WWI) while seizing further lands and retaking the lands lost in the treaty. Basically whatever was in "Mein Kampf", the Aryan race, Lebensraum, filtering out the "scum" and "parasites" of Germany etc.

Run-ins with the law
The average starting age for drinking in Britain / Ireland is somewhere around 14-15 although the legal age is 18, don't know of any reputable reports which will back this up but most British / Irish on these boards will say the same. I'm 16 and I'm drinking every weekend usually, it's not irregular for most people. Mainland Europe, can't say for definite but I think the police forces and the general attitude towards drink is much more relaxed. Ireland and Britain is pretty strict on it since we have the 2 highest rates of Binge drinking worldwide I think, in the top 5 definitely anyway :| I've always found that incredibly stupid though, legally being an adult but yet not allowed drink. They tried to do that with spirits in Ireland 2-3 years ago but it was ruled out as it went against the constitution.
-
Run-ins with the law
What do you mean by that? :-s It's a term used in Britain / Ireland for basically "making fun" of someone, shouting crap at them, making jokes about them right in front of them etc.
