  1. Personally, when I'm doing weights, I'll do 8 sets of 4-6 reps depending on the exercise and the weight used. General rule of thumb = low reps for strength, mid reps for mass, high reps for endurance.
  2. You're best advice would probably come from any of these 3 1: Joining a Mustang fan forum 2: Joining a Car Customization forum 3: Go into your local Mustang dealer / reputable autoshop. FYI, I used to be into modding cars, to properly kit that all out with what you want, you'd be looking at a minimum 5000-7000 dollars, for a good kit out. If you get an engine over hall with more parts than which you mentioned, add about an extra 1000 - 2000 dollars. Enjoy it.
  3. Well, I suppose it would be rather useful, but it would go against my principals. I feel lazy and bad enough that my family has a housemaid, having a Slave would make feel pretty sick that I own another human life.
  4. At least for the first sentence you listened in biology. I guess you haven't been with us for most of this argument, go back about 20 pages and find Bluelancer's posts showing various scientific studies from independent sources have proven that homosexuality is as natural as heterosexuality, the only difference is the growth between the 2 brains for either sexuality. I.e A straight man has an average level of testosterone, while a homosexual man has lower levels of Testosterone while higher levels of estrogen, meaning their naturally attracted to other men. Show me any form of actual physical proof that what I said is false (which isn't a religious site). The second line, we'll that's just idiotic, while you're at it please find a scientific study to back that up.
  5. This is pretty interesting, it provides infertile couples on the man's behalf the chance to have a baby with both their biological profile. Not only that, but apparently the Male chromosome is dying out and the men could be "extinct" within 3000-4000 years apparently, so this could be a savior. I'd say it's more than realistic though that they'll find some way to fix the problem or we simply wont exist by then.
  6. I'd disagree, I think incline dumbell flyes are superior to the bench for chest development. I mean this is talking about it from a purely aesthetic point of view, bench is probably the best exercise for building strength in your chest but if you want to bodybuild I'd say supplement dumbell presses with incline dumbell flyes. The bench is more of a compound movement which uses the shoulders a lot as well, which is why I like it, but if you just want a big chest... True I suppose, as you mentioned though that's why I also like the Bench, does my shoulders also. Personally, incline flys have only done my outer pecs, still hasn't done much for my inner pecs compared to say, Bench. That's why I'd always do both though.
  7. They work, but not as good as Bench press. Bench press is the god of Chest building exercises, no other exercise comes close.

Not sarcastic at all. Catholic religion is like Christianity's less uptight teenage son. First of all, we do not condemn other religions, we believe that you can get into heaven if you're good to people in general. Second, the Catholic Church doesn't try to own your life. You can pretty much do whatever you want as long as it's not at anyone else's expense. Yes, that is what the modern Catholic is like. The people leading the church though as I've already stated are nothing more than a bunch of conservative idiots who'd rather uphold the church's policies than see what is for the greater good of their followers. This pretty much proves that. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4081276.stm [/hide] Unfortunately you're right about that. Mostly the people leading the Church are more Christian than Catholic, which is why most people don't listen to them. My church is awesome. Once for a speech on the difference between good and evil, the priest brought in a life-sized manequin of Darth Vader  He played he song and everything. Yes, once you go down lower in the scales there is quite a few good Catholics. The two Jesuit priests working in my school are the only religious people I see eye to eye with, one uses Simpsons quotes in his sermons more than Bible quotes to get his message across, the other puts so much time and effort into the school and local area (most impoverished area of Dublin) yet still remains the most relaxed and easy guy going, on a first impression you would probably expect him to be an intelligent Atheist, yet he delivers mass every day. If the Church had people like them running it, and started becoming more realistic, it would certainly appeal a lot more to younger generations and it wouldn't lose much dropping it's conservative and close minded attitude.

Dizzle, I was raised Catholic, I live in a Catholic nation and I attend a Jesuit school, I don't need to be told what Catholics believe or what the Catholic religion is about.

I really like Danny's riding style. It's trials yes, but there's a huge amount of Bmx influence involved as well, making it a lot more interesting to watch. This is pretty cool, Ryan Leech's part in Kranked 6, trials meet Mountain biking.

Christianity has numbers and technology. Islam has numbers, a lesser scale and amount of technology, but a stronger grasp and influence on it's followers. It would be close in terms of infantry fights, but when you take into accounts planes, bombs, artillery, Nukes, ICBM's, WMD's, Christians would win before Muslims could even rally together. Dizzle, I don't want to be offensive, but are you being sarcastic? Don't hate on anyone (Same as discrimination), less strict on rules? I assume you're aware of their position on Homosexuality, the position of Women within the Church, the rules such as Abstinence as the only method of birth control, Women not being allowed to be a significant part of the church, Homosexuals not having the right within the religion to be married. I really it find it contradicting predicting Catholicism as the "laid-back" Christian religion, yes there has been some great members of it before, but in general the church is run by a bunch of close minded conservative idiots. No offense meant.
  12. I know this has probably been confirmed many times before, but the release date is based on UK date style or American date stlye? I.e 11 of October or 10th of November.

Don't sell right now, people will be flooding the market right now with items exactly like yours, hold out a few years and you could get a great price. As he's now dead it's going to drive the price up of a finite item, meaning in a few years this could be a serious object of MJ collectors. Honestly, I doubt you'd get 10% now of what you would get in say 5 years.
  14. I'd agree on that, although I don't want to sound bigoted or close minded as it could just be general opinion, but in many of American / Canadian posts there seems to be a lot more of the "alcohol is bad, period!" type crap thought in school. In British and Irish culture, it's pretty much the social norm to go out and drink at least once a week if not more, that goes anywhere from 15 year olds up to 80 year olds. What's wrong with driving at 16? Some people don't want their parents to drive them to and from school activities. Quoted from a couple of pages ago but going to do this as a general point. If you can't trust someone under the age to go out and drink responsibly when they feel like it, how on earth can you trust someone to drive a car responsibly. I'm not sure if you have the "boy racer" culture in America, but we have a lot of it in Ireland and Britain. As a result, Insurance prices are through the roof. An 18 year old in Ireland wont get a reasonable insurance quote on anything over 1200cc engine size. If anything I wouldn't mind the driving age being put up to 21, as there is so many idiots on the roads right now. And as 1MA said earlier on, I'd put a significant amount on it that irresponsible drivers seriously hurt a lot more people than irresponsible drinkers do.

Without a doubt I think condoms should be given out to Teens. I'm not sure about other Western countries, but currently in Ireland teen pregnancy is rising hugely, what's also rising? The percentile of unmarried mothers under the age of 24. So basically, teen pregnancies are rising and so is the rate of single mothers, now when they leave school (which they probably will before graduating) they have the responsibility of a child, the mindset of barely an adult, and the income of minimum wage most likely. Now this could be combated by teaching realistic methods in school and using shock tactics, instead of teaching the unrealistic approach of "Abstinence" teach how much a condom can save you, how a 2 condom can save you a life of unexpected parenthood. To further help this, teach how ones quality of life can be ruined by one STD, whether it's chlamydia, syphilis, genital warts, HIV, AIDS. I remember what convinced me and the vast majority of the class how useful a condom was, it wasn't a teacher going on about it for 30 minutes, a 5 video "real life" movie of how a young promising man's future is now instead a life of responsibility and child support, it was a picture of a mans genitals leaking a green goo caused by a STD. That image will always insure I keep a condom in my wallet, just in case I need one or a friend needs one. Like many things, the only thing that will get through to teenagers today is shock images or other shock methods, not 40 minutes of some teacher going on and on about some unrealistic method of Abstinence or why you shouldn't be having intercourse till your married, as for the vast majority that simply isn't going to happen.
  16. Are you trying to speak for everybody? I'd take his statement with a bit of leeway in it. Obviously if you've only been drunk once, then yes you probably haven't done anything regretful. Now, if you've been drunk say 20+ times, it's quite likely you've done something or said something you regretted. I know personally I have, same goes for most people I know. The most common one among people usually is getting to drunk and making a fool of yourself, it's happened to me, it's happened to most people, and it's pretty regretful.
  17. I like Ireland, you're granted all Adult rights the day you're 18. Voting, Alcohol, Tobacco, Driving, right to own property etc = 18. Of course, the laws quite often make a difference. For example about 70% of my schools year (166 pupils, all 16-17) drink alcohol regularly (Once every two weeks) and 55% weekly. 15% are smokers (going through 80+ cigarettes weekly), 35% are light smokers (40-79) cigarettes weekly. Now, as you can see that's a pretty high percentile for alcohol and tobacco where they're still 2 years below the legal age. Irish alcohol laws are heavily enforced, only 2 IDs are considered acceptable by all shops, Passport or Irish age card (Issued by the police.) This study was performed by an external college group. Each student was given a random number and a letter to indicate their class, all reports were returned and there was no expected forgeries or fake numbers drawn up. As it was anonymous, there was no "bragging" or fear of being truthful. So ye, in some places anyway, it's safe to say people don't hold certain laws in high regard. Personally, I don't really care for what the legal age is, if I want to drink I'll get my drink, the only difference being the law makes it slightly harder to get.
  18. Oh why thank you : My town is having a parade today, throwing out candy, riding atv's, giant platforms being pulled by tractors ( Iowa) with people throwing water balloons/squirtguns at the people watching  Plus a raffle so... could win some free stuff  You get all that and I got to work on Canada's birthday... Ouch... thats becuase america isnt a joke What a great *American* response, you certainly passed the American stereotype on there =D> Happy 4th of July I suppose, still think there's a lot more important days in the calender. Our independence day here is pretty minimal, yet we got independence by pretty much the same way :|

Nice bike Ouchy, new frame and SS could be a great upgrade though. Never really like Cowans tbh, geo on them just doesn't feel right not to mention they seem pretty big for DJ frames, last time I was on one I tryed an inverted table, didn't end well

Basically people think it will make the ride much better while instead they're getting a spring on a piston and 2 springs in some tubes which will add roughly 5-6 pounds minimum on the cheaper bikes, not to mention much needed money is spent on practically useless items (the suspension). All you'll ever need for cycling around a city (legally) is slick tyres and a rigid bike, it's pretty comfortable, a lot faster, and the componentry is better for the same price.
  21. That's just.....horrible :| Did they honestly think they would get a positive reaction from making a bloody music video -.- It's WBC, you can't take them seriously. North Korea has more credibility than them then? They do actually, NK trys to be intelligent but never really seems to pull it off. These guys, well they're just a bunch of close-minded bigoted extremist Christians :|

Been riding Dirtjumps and street for the last 2 years, sponsored by Dublin's best bike shop so I get some pretty cool discounts on good parts. Currently building up a new 24' bike. Going to cost around 2500 including discount :? Frame: Tonic Fab Fallguy (Handbuilt in America, 800$ rougly) Fork: Rockshox Argyle 409 (Getting custom colors for lowers) Brake: Coalition U-brake Bars, Cranks, grips, Saddle, = Deity Pedals, Stem, Hubs = NS bikes Tires = KHE Mac 2's Chainring = Stolen Engagement ring (Gold) Wheels = Ns Rotary front and back on Odyssey Harzardlites 24, Atomlab Titanium spokes. Shop hooked me up with a special deal on the finishing kit with Deity and Ns bikes, so basically doing a combo of both for where each are better. Color scheme is black frame, white Bars, Cranks and Forks, Gold Hubs, chainring, stem, pedals. Going to be around 24-25 pounds I think, can't wait till it's finally ready.
  23. While Al-Qaeda are still operating in Iraq I don't see the US leaving, and until Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are crushed, I don't see the US leaving the Middle East alone for a long time. Ah well, it at least is a step forward to the Iraqis dealing with their own full operation of the country.
  24. Couple of points... 1. One government leading the entire world will never exist, there is literally thousands of languages throughout the world, hundreds of culture, over 200 countries, over 7 Billion people, bringing all these people together under one government, under one language, under one culture etc, would be nothing short of pretty much impossible. 2. He seems great so far, but remember Obamas only been president for what? 6 months? There's still a lot about him we don't know and still a lot he could do unexpectedly, no one was wary of Bush 6 months into his first time, it's to early to assume how Obama will in say 2-3 years time. 3. I didn't watch the first video as I didn't have the time, the second one AFAIK was nothing more than mere coincidence he said that, the third one IMO is typical conspiracy theory bull, the same as "loose change" or others.
  25. Buying yourself your own computer wont sort out your problems, as you're still living under their roof they can still remove the computer from your room as it is being kept on their property, they simply can argue they never consented to it being on their property. Of course such an issue would probably never arise. Anyway, buying your own computer wont sort out any problems long term, sitting down with your parents and having a proper discussion about it will, set some ground rules, no interrupting, no shouting, it's not over till a compromise is reached. Be adults about the matter, you nearly are one. Ask them this though "If you trust me enough not to try recreational drugs, not to screw around, to drive a car, is it not about time you trusted me with the computer?"
