I just released the first spotlight. Check it out in the main post. Remember that a persons number in the list of 100 is not a rank of any kind, it just means that I interviewed them earlier.

My thread has been moved into questionnaires like I kind of feared. At least my thread wont be bumped down as quickly as it would be in the general forum, but I really don't see how this is a questionnaire. Any way, it just occurred to me that if I were to release 1 spotlight a week like I said I would, it would take 2 years to complete the 100! So now, for the first three spotlights, they will be released individually, over three weeks. After that I will release as many as I have that week.

I know what you mean by questionares killing a good post :P . And I thought about the idea of having a interview the applicant needed to fill out. However, now I want this to get more personal so that each individual shows off something different by not only answering different questions, but just talking about the thing that makes them extraordinary.

Regardless of personality, Id still like to try and interview him. IMPORTANT: All candidates and nominees need to PM, rather then posting themselves on the forums, as a way to protect privacy. Keep posting ideas and thoughts on the thread though!

I am looking for people who think they made a difference, even if its in just one person's gaming experience. Maybe they have some amazing accomplishments. We'll have to see what kind of people I get :)

I am going to profile the stories of 100, and maybe even more (or less, it depends on where I get) Runescapers. A big project indeed, but I feel that it's something worth while. Just to get to know other people. For the first three weeks of the project, you will see a spotlight released individually. After that, I will post as many as I have that week until you have "met" the 100 extraordinary players. EDIT: The third spotlight with be released next Wednesday. I do need people to interview though! If you want to be included in the 100, PM me and give me a description of why you think you should be included. If I find you interesting, I will PM you for more details, and hopefully I can interview you. If you have an account and are playing the game, that means you have agreed to the terms and conditions. One of these terms is that you are over 13. Unfortunately, Jagex can't check for this. Another term is that Jagex can't be held responsible for any physical or mental harm that may come to you from playing Runescape game. That means that they could remove the censor completely, disregarding the protection of younger players, who technically shouldn't be playing anyway, and have nothing held against them. I don't care so much about the censor except for the fact that it blocks half of my name, but rather that some of my black marks are forgiven in the future so that one day I might escape the curse of the permanently muted. Its been a year and three months.
