Dharok's on skeleton gorillas (the ones people chin) is the fastest xp in the game. Second fastest is whip at zombie monkeys. Bandits and monkey guards are awful xp, don't do them.

Yes. He needs to have a bandos item. Since he's praying melee, the only attack he's getting hit with is range and mage; torags legs and bandos tassets both have -4 mage defence but tassets have 1 higher range and +1 prayer. And the +2 strength doesn't hurt either. Like I said I misread the OP's first post, but you don't need to have a bandos item. Just pray mage and run; oftentimes you'll take 0 damage.

16k isn't a lot, but the problem is that it's 16k less profit per hour than what you would get if you were using dragon or something. Of course, you have to count in the food saved, the time saved from less eating and less banking, etc. Basically, use Barrows if you need defence and non-degradables if you don't. The best combo is Torag's plate and Verac's skirt. Helmet of neitiznot is usually adequate defence.

Range can be trained pretty quick too.

Don't use combat magic. For ranged the best is REGULAR (green is not worth it) coif and green d'hide.

Yup, buy. It's not that bad; they cost around 5-8 gp from other players, if you buy them from the fishing store in port sarim they're 2gp to start. It takes an average of 5 or 6 gp per feather if you buy until they get to costing 8gp each, then hop. That's what I do, it works like a charm. You can get 3-4k feathers in 1/2 an hour if your computer is fast. Problem is that most people make more than 40k an hour...

If bandos were a training spot it'd be the most crowded in the game; CW green drags are utterly desolate in comparison.

You're crazy. That's all I have to say. To OP: Regen bracelet or black d'hide are better than rune gloves. Bring B2P tabs, alch runes, several range pots, super defence pots, and monkfish or tuna. Pinnaple Pizzas whould be even better. Fairly expensive plus monkfish heal way more per bite. You don't need much food if you're using B2P anyway.

Bork is great if you want to train summoning; the charm rate if you do the math blows rock lobs out of the water and you make money instead of spending it. Also farming; not a daily activity but similar in concept. Very very profitable; my friend gets like 800k (90k profit in a 7 minute run) an hour farming snaps.

Not much better money, true, but the xp is far more rewarding. 40k range xp versus ~10k melee xp and ~15k mage xp. Wouldn't call it far more rewarding.

The real problem is that you'll be crashed like crazy.
