Be that as it may, a Slayer Helm is an absolute MUST for cannoning in the Smoky Dungeon, and I really don't think he has one if this is his first Spectres task. I realize that you can pray mage and have 1 hp the whole time, but if you make one mis-click and miss the prayer pot, *BAM* you're dead. It's really risky. If you're willing to take the risk of staying at 1 hp the entire time, go ahead and cannon in the Smoky Well. If not, I would wear full Proselyte, nosepeg, and the rest combat gear and pray Mage at the Slayer Tower. You get enough rannars to cover not only the Prayer Potion use, you can actually profit. The thing that's most likely to kill you is forgetting to put on the nose peg after running through the banshees. If you're paying attention and don't lag for more than a minute or so you're not going to run out of prayer. Besides, even with a Slayer helm you're probably going to die if you run out of prayer points.

LS equals better but highly variable profit. CS is lesser but more consistent profit.

Bedman and compfreak both get spectacular results near the entrance, so I'd try that first.

Until u get tasked with Banshees repeatadly Banshees are awesome range exp, and you don't lose too much m oney when you cannon them in the Pollnivneach slayer dungeon. Just take a full inventory of prayer pots and some super sets, and melee them while your cannon blasts away. Thats an idea.... Can i get an estimation on how many cannonballs? I can't remember, last time I did sumona was right back when she came out. I've been doing duradel ever since. If I were you though, I'd buy 1k, see how far you get, and work out how many you need from there. Yeah ill buy 1k AND a cannon. One expensive task.... Cannoning them is cheaper than meleeing them regularly. Time is money.

Did no one notice my post? Cannoning them is by far the most efficient way to kill them. It'll increase kills some 150% and you'll still almost break even.

Aviansies are the way to go. No training spot comes close other than chinning at ape atoll.

I'm guessing you don't have a slayer helm if it's your first spec task; just wear a nosepeg and pray mage, and bring masked earmuffs for when you run through the banshees. Slayer Tower is stupid. I did some brief calculations based on qeltar's numbers in Truthscape, and if you make more than 200k an hour you should cannon.

88 summoning is more useful and would make getting the money for 99 con easier.

My friend got around 300k an hour on task. He killed them in the Ogre Enclave and flashed Chivalry, using house tabs to recharge prayer. He has ~85 melee stats and a war tortoise. Which is worse than green dragons.

Kill Bork if you aren't already. Really anyone who is remotely interested in leveling up summoning should kill Bork; it's like the equivalent of 100k profit an hour with a charm rate better than barraging rock lobsters.

It's battleaxe speed? KB says it's 2h speed, I think. Oh, and calling that slightly faster than 2h would be a massive understatement; battleaxes and godswords are approximately 33% faster than two-handers.

No. I have an equal amount of crimsons and golds after doing slayer for a long long time. And I have used crimsons to level summoning until now. So technically I had more crimsons than golds. So crimsons > golds > greens > blues. An easy monster for crimsons are greater demons. Maybe the drop rate is slightly lower than black demons, but they are so easy to kill (if wild dogs don't bother you, or the crowds). Black demons are even easier. No wild dogs, fairly popular but competition shouldn't be a problem, and a much higher xp rate to boot.

Armoured zombies barely hit at all; even without a bunyip it's better to tank the hits and use food.

I got around 300 coal an hour when I used to mine coal. At 86 1k coal would probably take less than three hours.
