  1. My friends are stupid enough to see these movies because they have potty jokes and sex jokes in their comercials. I don't know if they like them, but these movies probably appeal to the REALLY immature male. I am immature, yet I find the movies to be stupid. I like Metalocalyse because of its brutal violence, yet I think these "movies" brand of violence is about as stupid as a kindergartener who has been hit in the head with a brick. So really, I think I should get a job as the ticket person at the local movie theater when this "movie" comes out, and use a tranquilizing dart on everyone who is trying to see it, and then take them to the theater showing the Mummy 3. Then they will say: "Wow, this is [cabbage]." and walk off, never to see any "movies" again.
  2. I agree, but the DS has more games
  3. Lucky because you have connections, like Paolini. His parents own a publishing company and he self-published through them. By chance, an editor for Knopf picked it up, and boom, he's a star. As far as what happened to him . . . he was published. Prematurely. This isn't the place for Eragon-bashing, but I have to say it's one of the aforementioned examples of bad literature. Oh, let me say one thing about Eragon... IT WAS SO CLICHED!!! I thought it sucked, yet everyone ever has read it and liked it...Just like Harry Potter, I always thought they sucked and were stupid while everyone else on earth think they are the best books ever...
  4. Isn't he the one who wrote Eragon and has like 3 more coming out? And am I lucky because I have lots of talent, or because my aunt is an author? And I would also like to say, that Paolini got published because his parents were editors (or somethign like that) so his whole life revolved around writing. Right now, I am asking Jagex if they would like to work with me on a new Runescape story. I am not asking for the profits from it, I just want to know that somebody likes the stuff I write enough that they would sell it.
  5. So thats where you gots ur skills from ;) No I got my skills from reading too much...And writing a series of stories about Earwax monsters
  6. SCENE ONE: VILLAINS ABOUND You sit down at a table, the other superheroes sitting down as well. You were introduced to each other in the lobby of the small, Victorian era mansion. You now sit in the sining room where a man wearing a cloak and glasses stands in the front, pacing back and forth. After a moment, he stops and turns to you. "Welcome." He says. "To our base. Here, you will be given your next mission and rest up." "WHATS THE MISSION?" One of you yells. "Well, if you want to skip introductions...Anyways, your first mission will be to a jungle in South America where me and my informants have found a large array of villains are residing. They are there because of the red fungus that grows their, it can cause skin diseases and even death, and I believe they are collecting it so they can stuff it in a bomb and shoot it at a city. Either that, or put it in the cities water supply." You are then all handed a manilla folder and taken to a jet plane. Inside the plane, you read the material placed in the folder. MISSION 1: SOUTH AMERICAN JUNGLE The plane will drop you off about four miles from the base, enough so that their radars do not pick you up. You will drive a jeep to about the mile point and then stop. Walk the rest of the way. When you reach the base, watch for guards patrolling around the fence. Once you are clear, enter and be as stealthy as possible. Search for a villain known as Plow. He is an idiotic man, and should be able to defeat. Question him on what he is doing there, and what they plan to do with the fungus. After that, I will contact you with some other objectives. Good luck. After an hour you are outside of the perimeter of the base. There is no way to enter the base except through a door, heavily guarded by men with AK-47's. OBJECTIVE: FIND A WAY INTO THE BASE OFF TOPIC: there, we start now. I will help along the way as a hero named "Unknown". I stand behind you like a ghost, you never see me, but I always see you.
  7. good luck with the editor and writing the rest of it...hope you get it published... I am lucky...my Aunt is a writer so she suggested me to her editor....boo ya!
  8. wow...good job, YOUR efforts have made Jagex consider bringing back the wild. I really do hope that the wild sucks, and that all the wild worlds have level 138 people there who will kill you and make you complain more... Anyways, goodbye, see you in your next rant about how bad PKing is now... BTW: This is not a rant, and this is spam, the mods gonna lock this.
  9. Waiting to see if HAwkxs or BlueJay show up...if not by tomorrow evening, we start!
  10. So Jagex gives us a neat little poll asking us about what we want for the new Christmas Event, and what we would like for a Christmas quest. Its good that Jagex gives us input and lets us decide what we would like for a reward, and what we think would be a fun quest since most of the holiday events have been blander than a Chuck Norris joke. Looking back at all the events I have done, there were a very few enjoyable ones. The 2005 Christmas Event for example, was a horrendous mess. It took you hours to get through what should have been a relatively simple quest. But all it was was boring, repetitive gaming. One of my favorites was the 2007 halloween event. It was very fun and short, making it more enjoyable. That was a created on the basis of a poll. The runescape players were able to decide something, a very nice change of pace from the usual events where we were not allowed our input. But this year, it was christmas that was a player input scenario. And upon that, we got a poll. After voting we soon find out what the christmas event is. I think its stupid. Why would you tell us the event four months in advance, why not keep it secret, give us a surprise. I am happy with the decisions, but I ultimately think they could have kept the poll closed so no one but them could see the results. Thus, we would have a great little surprise. Basically, I wish Jagex would not ruin the event by telling us everything about it four months in advance.
  11. I was gonna buy assassins creed...until you ruined it all! Holy Spoilers Batman!
  12. I tried to help as much as possible... In the left lower part somebody drew all over our banner a picture of squidward doing obscene things to spongebob...jeez thats pathetic...I just wanna draw and get exposed to the nasties... 13. Harakiri replied to elit9's topic in Rants
It was an excellently written topic. Though I did not understand some of it, I did understand the point and laughed when I figured out that your signature was part of the topic. Clever. 10/10 Very nice... =D> I am happy when their is not a rant involving something like the wild or mean players or something along the lines of Jagex screwing up the game...*mumbles on for an hour*
  14. I don't exactly look down on skill capes. I look down on most of the people wearing them. I am not a member, but was for a half a year, and know a whole lot about Runescape in general. When skill capes came out, you would go to Varrock, and watch a parade of lower levels follow a member wearing barrows and this skill cape. They would scream for the emote, and then this guy would tell them to watch. He would log out. The people wearing them were jerks. They would go to F2P to show off and act all impressive. They really are not, they are just show offs. Its kinda like F2P and mods. A mod will come on and be instantly surrounded by people asking questions. I am not saying mods are jerks, I am saying that most of the lower levels look up to the people with higher levels and authority. Which I think might be a reason most lower levels are little jerks who cannot leave a lower level alone. Its because they see this guy who has a skill cape and is looked up to at that moment, and then he basically flips them the finger just for his enjoyment. Nowadays, a lot of people have skill capes and its not that their looked down upon, they are just not that exciting. They were cool when they first came out because everyone was grabbing one and showing off, but now, everyone has one, and no one cares because they have seen it 500 times before. Pretty much, Capes are not looked down upon. They used to be because of the Jerks who wore them but nowadays, a ton of people have them and they are not that exciting.
  15. Exactly ^^^What you pay for is what you get...and since its free you get a hell of a deal...basically a free game, that you can spend hours on end playing. Why do you need summoning in F2P anyway? What use is it. F2P is really easy...for gods sake, the hardest F2P quest can be completed at a relatively low level (I beat Dragon Slayer at level 42). Anyways, if I remember, you have to do a quest in the members side of the world to get summoning...kinda hard when your F2P...
  16. PROLOGUE: Sitting down one day, Johnny Blackson found himself wondering what a world with superheroes would be like. Costumed vigilantes, running across the rooftops of the city, the moon shining off their hair. Little did Johnny Blackson know that four years later, he would bound across rooftops, but instead of helping society, he began to destroy it. It started when Blackson found a crystal during a European vacation. He was about to sell the crystal, when it pierced his stomach somehow, and entered his body. He suddenly watched his wound heal, and then noticed a dark mist. It shrouded him, and took him over, until he was a large dark behemoth. Soon, he began to destroy the city of Washington D.C. An army came after him. The army was decimated. Soon, the president was on the list of casualties. Thus, a crime wave across the nation began, and costumed vigilantes, known as supervillains by some, began to bring down America's economy. Armies lay in ruin, people from other countries began coming in wearing costumes and claiming to be supervillains. But, with this uprise of supervillains, came a small legion of costumed heroes. Named the League of Saviors, they are America, and soon the world's, last hope. Rules: In the world of Superhero, you will need a hero. What kind? You will need to create a strong hero, a hero not invincible, but with a heart of steel that would do anything to prevent the destruction of the worlds economy, and do anything to save an innocent life. ENTRY FORMAT: Civilian name of hero: Superhero name: Age: Gender: Ethnicity: Where are they from: Powers (nothing like invincibility...): How they got their powers: Arch-nemesis (name and powers): What they look like as civilians: What they look like as heroes: Next, you need to know how to play. Your character will be entered into the League of Saviors. Here, you will be introduced to the leader, and will be given your first mission. Each mission will come with a brief discription and a map to work with. You and the team will need to work together to face off against enemies, and sometimes face off against super villains. The rules are like all other RPG's here except this has a system that shows your alignment. GOOD----->Questionable----->Neutral<-----Dark<-----EVIL Also there is Superhero-Awarded only to those who have shown outstanding work for protecting the good of the people. Supervillain-Awarded to those who's evil intent has helped consume the Earth in darkness. Your alignment is based on decisions you made during missions. DEATH: If you die, the goddess of fate will take you back to Earth only if you complete a task for her, which consists with a battle with a super villain. So, without further ado, it is time for you to foray into the world of superheroes and villains. Join the Legion, and help the world, or destroy it! Post all your bios, and decide wisely on your powers and other things...they could come back to bite you later on...you never know what supervillains are out there. Please, put up your bios!
  17. Oh god, where to start...I might as well divide my long stories into parts: Part I: Socom U.S Navy Seal Fireteam Bravo 2 Its a game for the PSP and is one of my favorite online games mostly because its so funny to listen to some of the dumb kids on it... In this games online mode, it is so easy to "glitch". When you glitch, you basically hop onto something, crouch, and walk into a wall, a really stupid glitch, but useful. So I play one time and these kids annoy the hell out of me. I snipe them and hide behind stuff, shooting through small areas to kill them, and they tell me I am a noob and that I should be kicked from the game. Thankfully, my team on the game consisted of some more mature players, so I was not kicked. Nevertheless, me and my team were sick of hearing them calling us gay and [developmentally delayed]ed noob faced [bleep]s, so we started using glitches. We killed them easy, and then we all gave up. Later, we created a new game, and these losers come on and call us glitching noobs that still suck on their moms [bleep]. Needless to say we started fighting back. I added the most idiotic of the bunch to my friends list, so I could intrude upon his games and kick his arse all the time. I played a couple days later, and this kid was playing. I went onto his game, and I found this barely noticable alcove on a higher area that was very hard to get to, requiring me to jump and hope to god I did not fall. I began sniping here, and always kick this kids arse. Soon, he begins complaining, telling me how much sniping affects my moms testicles. Needless to say, I was shocked at the kids idiocy, and all the same was laughing my arse off. The kid thought he made a funny joke and began telling me that he was awesome because he made me laugh at a joke aimed at me. What an idiot. Basically on this game, you snipe someone you get a nice little reply. Or if you through a grenade around a corner. Or if you kill someone. Or if you don't. PART II: Halo 3 Dare I even start? One time I was playing Halo 3 and had a sword. I killed this one guy with it and I soon found out he was a kid. He told me that swords were only for people who licked balls and how much I like to lick balls. So I found a sniper, shot him in the nuts and laughed and told him how noone could lick his balls anymore. Another exciting time, I shot a guy with a sniper. It missed. So, I watched this guy move along and then shot at a barrel. I blew this guy up and he began to complain that I was a loser for shooting at barrels and that there was only a 1 percent chance that you could actually blow up a barrel in real life. I laughed and told him that Halo was not real life. He laughed and told me it was. I laughed and told him he plays to much. His mom soon screams "YOU"VE BEEN PLAYING FOR FOUR HOURS! GET THE HELL OFF!" I laughed my head off. I won't say anything else. I am sure you have all experienced the same thing and this brings back dark memories.
  18. Its fifteen years later... basically, Farrid ran away from the elves to the destroyed village. The elves followed which led to Farrid finding out the knight is actually alive and he awakens Guthix, takes his sword and prepares as he fights the elves... That good...read it a couple of times...then you'll catch the drift...
  19. Can you make it so that I can put in my own levels since it only does the ones on the highscore and says my level is 55 when I am actually 67 since it does not show my strength...
  20. CHAPTER 2 __________________________________________________________________________________ Farrid woke up to the sound of thunder. A rough wind blew debris toward Farrid's tent, cutting it open. Farrid got out from beneath the light covers and ran outside. The elves were in a frenzy, directing their children toward the forest. Farrid laughed. Thats right, herd your children into the forest and let them be crushed by the trees! He thought. One of the elven women ran up to him. "Sir, please stop the storm with your magic!" "Thats impossible. I cannot control the elements." He said. She merely whimpered and ran. Farrid ran into his tent and threw off his night clothes, and in their place, put on his wizard robes. He then took his staff and began to leave the elf camp and head for the forest. He stopped outside of the forest, aware that the elves were running for it. Maybe he could as well. So, Farrid ran the other way. After fifteen years of being enslaved to the elves, he was finally able to escape. They taught him magic, they taught him necromancy, but could not have been ready for this storm, and his escape. __________________________________________________________________________________ The elves ran through the forest, taking their children in their arms and heralding others toward the Altar of Guthix. Rain pounded on their heads, and the wind blew dirt into their faces. They were nearly there when they heard a horses hooves. They then saw their leader, the Lady Goma, atop the chestnut horse. She took some of the children and placed them on the back of the horse. She held her own daughter in her arms. The children were crying and Goma blocked them out as she held onto the children and pulled the horses reins, making the horse gallop on. She then screamed out for Farrid to come. It was time for him to test his worth. There was no reply. She then snapped. She knew he ran. The stupid child had turned into a stupid man and was now running from the elves? After he awakened Guthix, he would be killed. She jumped off the horse and screamed for a man named Candine. He appeared and jumped onto the horse, throwing one of the kids into the mud below. She then whistled and another chestnut appeared. She jumped onto its back and pulled the reins. It galloped forward. Her knife had not been used for ten years. The elves had had a decade of peace. Now, the human had disrupted it, and she would have to kill again. She cried out. The battle cry. Some nearby elves heard it and drew their weapons. They then proceeded toward the altar carefully, looking everywhere for signs of enemies. Goma then saw a flash of lightning, and cried out. A tree fell before her and the horse whinied and ran back towards the altar. Goma fell off and watched as the horses hoove came down on her hand. She heard the crack and then felt her hand go completely numb. Her knife hand had been broken. The horse ran off into the forest. She stood, grabbed her knife from the ground, and ran to the camp. __________________________________________________________________________________ Candine saw the Altar of Guthix. It was a large circular rock, surrounded by crosses, that stood in a clearing. Some elves were already there and praying. He galloped toward the altar and then jumped off, tying the horse to one of the crosses and helping the children off. The wizard, the human, was supposed to open the altar for them, and save them from the storm. He had run. A coward. He heard a cry. The cry of his wife. He then ran back into the forest and cried back. He saw her chestnut galloping at him, his wife not atop it. He jumped to the side, watching as the horse ran to his chestnuts side. He groaned. Running forward, he drew his sword. After running through the storm for half an hour, he saw his wife. She was hiding in one of the tents of the camp. The humans. His wife was looking through a small dresser in the tent. He noticed her limp hand and tried to touch it but she pulled it back. "What happened?" He asked. "The horse stepped on it." He wanted to kill the horse for doing such a thing to his wife. "What are you doing?" "Searching for something that will give us more information on this human." He laughed. "He's going back to his village of course!" She laughed as well. "Of course." __________________________________________________________________________________ Farrid ran through the clearing. The clearing had now turned into a marsh, and the further he ran, the higher the water got, soaking his robes. Soon, he got to the incline and slid down it. At the bottom, he tripped. He fell a couple feet and smashed to the ground. He looked at the arm he fell on. It was scratched up, blood mixing in with the rain water below him. He ran through the village. It was rubble. He was surrounded by piles of scorched wood. Yet one building stood. It had a gate around it and the whole front of it was made up of gravestones. Farrid ran to it. The gate was locked, so he jumped it. He then ran to the front door and knocked on it. It opened by itself. Farrid walked in. "Hello?" He asked. He walked past a doorway. He looked in and then found a sword at his neck. He leaped back. A man walked out of the doorway. "Farrid?" "No...you were killed." The knight looked back at him and smiled. "You think I would go down that easily?" He was missing one of his arms, and had a scarred neck. __________________________________________________________________________________ Candine slid down the incline and then ran toward the gated building. It was the only place to hide. Humans were so predictable. He jumped the gate and entered the already open door. He then went into the first room to his left. The human sat on the floor. Another one sat in a rocking chair. Candine swung his sword at the human. __________________________________________________________________________________ Farrid disappeared and materialized behind Candine. Farrid drew a dagger and was about to stick it through the elves neck when the elve turned around and grabbed his ankle, twisting it. Farrid screamed and dropped the knife. He then began to recite an incantation when he was punched in the face by the elf. He passed out on the floor. "Pathetic human." Candine said. The old man still stood there, rocking back and forth. Candine swung at him. The old man disappeared. The elf looked around, searching for where he went, but could not figure it out. He shrugged, grabbed the body of the human and began his long walk back to the altar. __________________________________________________________________________________ The knight was on his knees, praying before the altar of Guthix. He smirked as he watched Farrid get knocked out, and his doppelbager get destroyed. The knight was a master of disguise. Fifteen years before, he had created a doppelganger to be killed in his place. The only effect, was the scar on his neck, and the loss of his arm. Right now, he was disguised as an elf. The rain pounded on his head and he prayed to Saradomin instead of Guthix. He prayed that his plan would work. One of the elves looked at him. "Do I know you?" He asked. The knight laughed. "Of course you do...I am a guard, I am not allowed in the actual camp, I am only allowed to guard it." "No wonder I do not know you!" The elf grinned. The grin disappeared and then the elf screamed. The knight dropped his disguise and held a scimitar in his left arm. The elves gasped and began drawing arms. __________________________________________________________________________________ Farrid awoke on the journey back. He saw the altar, and looked to his side. Candine's wife. The one who thought she killed the knight. Farrid whispered an incantation. A protective prayer basically. He asked that the gods protect him in the battle of his life. The only way for the knight and Farrid to survive was to get the sword from beneath teh altar before Guthix was completely revived. Farrid then noticed that the knight now had shown himself and was killing the elves coming at him. Good, the plan begins. __________________________________________________________________________________ Candine now rant to the altar and drew his sword. He punched the human. "Wake up!" He screamed and threw the human to the grass. "ACTIVATE THE ALTAR OR DIE!" Candine screamed at Farrid. Farrid scrambled back up and ran to the altar. He began to recite an incantation, looking back nervously as the knight prepared to fight Candine. After a half minute of carefully reciting a spell, the altar began to glow. The elves quit fighting and gasped in awe. __________________________________________________________________________________ The knight began parrying the blows of the large elf. He then cheated, kicking at the elves lower parts. The elf cried out and the knight began slicing the elf up. The elf did not even bleed. "What the..." Suddenly the knight was on the defensive again. The knight did not understand at all. __________________________________________________________________________________ Farrid watched as the large rock in front of him slid to the side. A staircase was revealed beneath. Farrid ran down. At the bottom, there was a coffin, and a sword lay on top. Farrid ran for the sword, but suddenly it levitated high into the air. It then came down and smashed into the coffin's lid. The lid blew into pieces, and an arm grabbed the sword, suddenly flying into the air. "So, I am back here on Gielnor. Wonderful!" He then saw Farrid. "You have brought me back. Very good! You deserve a prize of some kind!" The sword was now in the hands of Guthix... But then, it fell to the ground before Farrid. Guthix screamed. "My power is not what it used to be! I need to find somewhere to regain it! Damn." __________________________________________________________________________________ The knight watched as a resurrected god flew through the air. He flew to the North. Suddenly, the storm was even worse. The elves were running for the gravesite, running down the stairs. Soon, the knight and the large elf were the only ones left. Then, he noticed the elf woman who had cut off his arm. The elf woman gazed at him in awe. __________________________________________________________________________________ Farrid noticed the elves coming and began to pick up the sword. He felt an electric shock go through his body and then was able to pick the weapon up. He remembered the sword training he had gotten from the elves, and prepared to slaughter them. __________________________________________________________________________________ Please comment!

  23. Well, allow me to say, I am in no way a nintendo follower. Nintendos games do not exactly appeal to everyone solely due to the fact that without guns, blood, chainsaws, and flying octopus's, a game is no good. But, Nintendo games do in fact bring out a kind of feeling you can only get when playing a nintendo game. Take Mario Galaxy. It is a kids game, yet adults play it because it brings them back to the days of the original mario bros. It is also a very addicting game. Mario Kart is also one of those games that everyone can play. I bash on people for liking Nintendo TOO much. Their games are not superb at all, the couple gems that are out there are usually from an old franchise though like Zelda or Mario. Now, I think that other than that, Nintendo is not doing well with their console, seeing as most of the games suck, and thats mostly due to the NINTENDO SEAL OF CRAP. They do not have a seal of approval anymore, letting anyone throw garbage onto their console, which is killing it. While it does have the occasional game, most are not that great. Nintendo was cool back before the gamecube, but after that, it just died. The only reason the wii is doing to great is because it is accesible to everyone, which is a good thing, but with so many new developers creating crap for Nintendo's console, it is dying for hardcore gamers. I hope Nintendo does eventually end up going away someday though. While they may be bringing more and more people into gaming, they are slowly eating at the industry. Nintendo is not bad, it is just dying.
  24. He made Indiana Jones 4...BLEH!
