it's always fun seeing things like this, i'm one of the oldest players around so things like this bring back a ton of memories i started playing in january of 2001, the month runescape came out i remember finding it on mmorpg.com and being like WOW THIS ROCKS!!!! i told everyone in my 7th grade classes about it and we all had a jolly time until i got hacked and quit for a couple years -.- i miss my blue party hat, and santa hat...

i agree we need more space in the costume room and i wouldn't mind a bump to my bank size either i tend to keep things handy just in case i need them at some point so my bank is almost always either full or nearly full by the way what determines the amout of space in your bank account anyway because mine is 196 spaces at last check and if someone else has 250 i'd like to know how he managed that

sorry but the idea that the next skill would be sailing is ridiculous it would serve absolutely no purpose besides that if we could sail ourselves from place to place what would become of all the ships involved in quests and transportation throughout runescape? it just doesn't add up and i'm going to stick with occam's razor on this and say that since it doesn't make sense it probably isn't true

i totally agree with the new console game thing i have a strong desire to beat games as soon as i get them making console games a bit of a pain because once i beat them i don't want to play them anymore but because runescape has new content added often and there's almost always something i can improve on it it pretty much provides a consistent time killer i've been replaying ffxii lately..... that gets old come on 13!!!! ...wait i need a ps3 -.-

honestly i disagree with your parents telling you what to do at 17 i had rules until i was about 15 nothing strict but i couldn't just do whatever i wanted but after about 15 i was left to live my life as i chose i've made mistakes and continue to, and maybe i waste my life on games but thats my choice to make and honestly it builds character i've learned for myself what is beneficial and what isn't but then again i have a 185 IQ and enough common sense not to cabbage up my life too badly your parents need to learn that you aren't a child and that you're capable of choosing what's best for you living your life under someone's thumb breeds only failures

Ranged and Magic doesn't affect your combat level unless they're better than your melee stats. I've gotta agree with highlander. By getting summoning levels, if you are not using them in combat, they are false levels. The same applies to prayer. If you get for example 50 prayer and don't use it in combat, those levels you got from the prayer levels are false. If you DO use summoning or prayer however in combat, then it's a different story. ok max your melee stats while having 1 magic and ranged and tell me what your combat level is i betcha it's lower that someone with those maxed out too

security guard can give half keys i'd say that's a pretty decent reward

ok guys are you ready for this? this is the post to end all posts on this thread let's make summoning not effect combat level, but ranged, prayer, and magic too that way you really get your real combat level, that is your bare fisted, beat the living cabbage out of each other without all those other skills effecting your level i mean when you're not using those skills they're useless right? so why should they determine your combat level, i mean what good is my ranged level when i'm meleeing? (sarcastic post) but do you see my point here? you could make the exact same argument about any of those 4 skills summoning is a combat skill end of story so stfu

I wasn't talking about damage/second. You didn't understand my point. You make a good point as well, but that isn't the idea I was trying to portray. All I'm saying is that Herblore isn't directly involved with combat like Summoning is. ok think about it this way take the extra damage dealt and the damage avoided by using a super set now remove those from the character, and turn them into a creature there you have it that super set has now become a familiar in ancient times it was very common to see animals involved in battles hence the phrase dogs of war now picture this a man, 6'3" 265lbs versus a man 5'11" 200lbs and an irish wolfhound around 3 ft tall and 130lbs tell me who has the advantage summoning is a combat skill like it or not and it seems to me that the only people complaining are the ones too lazy to make the effort to raise it
