I refuse to use beta, because whenever I switch to 3 for better flash/java, all my privacy settings are reset. But I will be downloading it once they release the official build. Seems like a loose plug or a graphics card problem. What are your system specs? Although, the red dots would be stuck pixels, so it could also be a monitor problem.

Best customer support comes from building your own computer. Not only will you have the knowledge to fix some problems yourself, I find part manufacturers and sites like Newegg are far easier to deal with than OEMs.
