thanks, i used a external hd for the backup. the reason i wanted disks was that i had reader_s[Caution: Executable File], and it can infect external drives. i formatted though, and everything seems to work fine. The reader_s[Caution: Executable File] is a nasty thing tho, it infects every exe fileon your computer.

Supply and demand only works in a perfect capitalist world, just like everyone is equal only in a perfect communist world. Especially with music, which once produced has (for all practical purposes) an unlimited supply. I think the solution would be that every band sets up its own website, you pay an initial fee of $5, and you can download as much as you want from them in pure MP3 (no DRM [cabbage]). That way more money goes right to the band, and you get music cheaper. its a win-win situation, except for the recording industry, but to hell with them anyway.

My computer recently got a virus, and it has deleted system 32/rundlll32 and other important files. i have no intrest in trying to fix this, but when i went to backup my files to DVD on "MY COMPUTER", instead of my 2 DVD drives, i see 4 cd drives. when i try to open them, 2 say Please insert disk, although there is a disk in, and 2 say (disk drive letter):/s not accessable incorrect function. i am also not able to start in safe mode. disapeared Please help

actually, it is illegal to scan a book then put it on the internet. Maybe they should sue her for $34 plus a fee of about, say $100, since They cant prove how many times her song was downloaded. the worst part is that a "jury of her peers" found this extortionate amount reasonable
