85-99 is around 50-60k chimps. Figuring from that, I'd say you'd need maybe 80k chins roughly, not to mention prayer pots, as a cost of getting slower xp.

Even so, chins are probably not the fastest at your level. You'd probably get better xp from cannoning, and it would cost less. Perhaps at 75+ or 80, it'd be the fastest.

The reason people use slayer dart is because you gain all the runes you use back from the chest, not because its incredible cheap.

I personally dont find it that boring, but its probably maybe a little more boring than thieveing a guard or palidin or bandit like 75,000 times. But, its much faster, so you wont have to be bored for as long.

Dont wear mage armour, the Brothers have very low mage defense. Follow the posters above me. Invest in 55 slayer and get some melee armour.

Hoboblins across the water are pretty decent as long as you dont pick up arrows. Pretty fast xp, and you can telegrab laws and limps.

I agree with The Sith, I find that I may have a different answer for the OP, but by the time I get to the thread, it may have already been locked after only one answer. I think that having multiple answers reduces the chance of getting the rare incorrect answer to your question. Threads shouldnt be locked unless theres spam or off-topic stuff going on. You can just let the answered topic drift to the bottom of the page naturally.

if you and a friend have a decent melee level and want to duo mage, you can kill em both(preferably using dragon dagger) then mage Rex from there. Its much easier to find willing participants duo maging. That's the best way to do it without a suicider.
