I find the d long more useful than a scimitar or whip when fightning mithril dragons, as they're weak to stab attacks.

I'd rather get a Saradomin GS if I were you, an Armadyl is only really useful for dueling/pking and neither of those exist anymore. However, if you're deadset on an AGS, then I'd say its more useful than a Burger King Hat, but what do I know?
