Not contradictory. I'm saying that they have no true benefit besides the fact that you are raising the levels of that stat. Useless, see, is for the person to decide. Is total levels/levels really useless? As for the rest such as money, they are useless.

This is the only use of a Torso. Doesn't make up for the lost hours, though. Edit: And if defense doesn't matter, wear Proselyte. Makes it even more useless.

The ones underground are much more plentiful = fastest Slayer xp by far in the game. If your task is small you can kill it there though, getting underground takes a minute or two.

You have ~5+ of high damaging Melee/range/magic scarabites on you at a time. Of course, Rune defender could definetely be used there too, if you can last.

Praying piety and unholy kills the whole point of using Piety. Rune defender for every single Slayer task except Obby/DFS on dragons/scarabites.

To make it even simpler, the defense/accuracy doesn't make up for the very little 2 str + time lost.

Slayer is useless in a sense to raise, but Summoning definetely isn't. Crafting and Smithing can't make money as fast as 91 RC/GWD, so they are useless. However, there is the level factor which is why you raise them.

No, theres way too many skillers. You probably got them when there was a huge demand, as those are always buyable at normal times. When they're not, Irits and Kwuarms are just as hard to buy. In the end, the above skills have 0 use.

No, as in there's no point in raising them. People will make the stuff for you, and you can buy it for cheaper than the supplies + time lost.

Cook, woodcut, fletch, fishing, thieving, herblore, mining, smithing, crafting, firemaking, and hunter are all useless skills - you can make money faster from GWD/Farming/Runecrafting.

DFS + Fighter torso? Seems a bit contradictory... Sure you're maxing out on Strength but if you look at the big picture, you'll see that the 19 Attack from Rune defender far out preforms the 2 extra Strength from DFS. Instead of all that wasted money (and time), buy yourself a Barrows top and a Rune defender. You'll kill a LOT faster, and your defense will still be up to par. Even if the Torso took 0 hours, it'd still be as useless as it is now.
