The only reason? It's simply not worth it. Just stick with Barrows. If you care so much for fast xp that the str will give you, don't. The time wasted getting the torso will not even come close to the amount of time saved from combat, let alone the time spent banking for extra food. Plus, Fighter torso is just plain sucky... look at the defense. Most people argue that it's free but... It's NOT free. If you call 6 hours worth of time free, then you're mistaken. BADly. There is almost no reason to use it. Trust. Me.

Well it does depend on your attack level. You wouldn't use a Leaf sword instead of a whip at Green drags.

I also find myself troubled with spawns, especially when there's another person there. Define most efficient. To some, Slayer xp could have a net worth of 0, because fact is it doesn't give any true bonuses. (Besides maybe a Slayer drop for the first few days of a new monster)

Rock lobs/Waterfiends are by FAR faster than Slayer. But you miss out on Slayer xp. .... It's your choice, the decision is that simple.

I'm guessing that that was an intentional show of obliviousness(which is a word) to him specifically saying that he would not do any of those. On topic, you'd probably be better off with a bunyip, you are going to be doing a lot more damage than the regent can, so you want to maximize the amount of time that you are getting experience and NOT using guthans. I would usually say no, but sinse you're trying to concentrate on Range xp I agree. Ditch the regent... but I would just say to just keep training Slayer normally and range rangable tasks and get it slowly. :XD: Maybe it's just because I don't find most 99's a big deal... Either way, 300k xp is pretty short.

The best method is in the Chaos tunnels, bring a combat familiar and prayer melee.

I think I have all of that in my guide. Use golds on terrorbirds/toads, greens on bunyips/fruit bats, and crimsons on the highest one at that lv (forgot :XD: ) and save blue.
