  1. I love giving CC to new guides. ;) This is definetely a great guide, and the best part is, there is TONS of room to improve. (This is CC) (Below is just an example) I see... So Iron if you want money, or Granite for speed. Evaluate with numbers and rates, it's the best method. Your guide is definetely centered around training spots, for now. To make it simple, I'll put my points in bullet form. You lack general xp and cash rates of each. Then, you should evaluate by posting the breaking point. (eg: if you make this much money per hour, go here.) Depth in other aspects. For example, is there any special tricks when Mining? What familiar should I use? Agility? Any special quests? What about those pickaxes? What's the biggest difference in location A and B? Is on mining location faster but lower money? Or is it lower money and lower xp but crowded? Or is it just plain sucky in all aspects? THE BIGGEST missing point in your guide, however, is what sets one ore from another? How good is Coal to mine? (If you do some research, you'll see that it's slower than Iron in terms of xp and IIRC even cash. One of the main points of a guide is to provide clarity on a often misconception.) Is Pure Essense even WORTH mining? Is Rune still good money? I thought Adamant sucked for xp and cash. Etc, etc. I can promise you this is one of the main things people will be looking for in your guide. I would like to remind you that this is CC (believe me, I've been bashed :XD: ). Your guide is just starting, so expect more CC from me if I have time. Edit: Here's an example of a great guide. He goes into a huge amount of detail for each log, which is something you should try to add. viewtopic.php?f=180&t=762675 Good luck completing your guide.
  2. Might as well do Black demons. Ranging Waterfiends seems a bit oxymoronic to me. You could do Waterfiends at 80 stats, but 85 would defientely help. However, if you Piety (I personally do) it'll help A LOT. Well, I guess the word irrelevant was a bad word choice. The information was more... trivial. Why settle with anything but the best? (Crimsons) I definetely agree with what you said, though. Train FIRST, collect charms SECOND.
  3. The 70% shards trade, in theory, has little affect on the difference between Crimsons and Greens. You subtract 70% from each of them, so that would still be the same ratio of cost. Sure, if Green charms gave more xp than Crimson charms it would make a big difference, but it doesn't. It's more costly, gives less xp, and generally harder to obtain in mass. (Waterfiends, anyone?)
  4. They don't drop plenty of Crimson charms. Overall, they're a suckish monster and are for those who just want a change of pace. (Or don't want a change of pace if they came from F2P) Greaters are decent at best... but the Wild dogs are REALLY annoying up to lv 127, and by that point you're better off somewhere else. I'd just train Slayer up till you can kill Waterfiends efficiently. (80-85 stats) After that, it's up to you if you want to kill Waterfiends or continue Slaying. Dust devils aren't really good neither. To put it in perspective... (Dot equals the difference) Rock Lobsters - Waterfiends - Scarabites -------------------------------------The rest (Not really, but you get my point. There are a few in between, such as Black demons, but others such as Greaters and Dusties are just overhyped.)

It's been too long since we had a debate here. :D Who just spams attacks when theres an extremely strong spot at the tip of your sword that can kill very easily if you aim? Marth = Punish game. Not sure about Ike. Sorry, I havn't talked to anybody about Brawl in a while. :XD: I'm willing to do the Falcon ditto if you ever catch me when I'm on. ;) About marth, its just his speed of the sword, and the fact that most his attacks are like MKs, come out quick. I have spacing with him ok, I used to use him but ever since i switched to Ike, Falcon etc, I guess I lost the timing. Im so used to doing falcons d air (FTW) so i do it way too early and get punished! Ike on the other hand has to take time on some attacks. (Whoever said hes slower than D3 is wrong, lol) Mainly about marth is his airgame is too fast, and yet too slow. Dropping speed, aerial movement (not even close to the riight speed for me), and most of his game is grounded. Not too good really (for me). For the Falcon, anyone I'd vs. I still really wanna vs ginger with TL though. ;) Either way, simply spamming an attack will make you suck, regardless of the character. How is Ike faster than DDD? DDD has quick attacks (If you use them properly) with a HUGE reach. Combine with this his multiple jumps and power and you have a top tier character. I thought Marth was an aerial character? And dropping speed seems pretty irrelevant with Marth. I'm actually really good with Marth now. (Started about when I stopped Brawling here actively) :ohnoes: :(
  6. If that's not what you're looking for, Google.com always has the answer.

  8. No, it won't. It'll crash. It happens every year.
  9. Whip forever. (SS... meh) For powertraining, Bandos + Verac's skirt is generally considered (not really, most think BANDOS BANDOS BANDOS) the best set for training if you're praying.
  10. I want to buy an R4 for my DS, but I'm not exactly sure where to buy it or which one to buy. It's a bit confusing... if you bought one and it works, can you tell me where you bought yours from? Thanks.
  11. That's what everybody is waiting for = flooding the market with demand. Basically, it's all about predicting... MINDGAMEZZZ. I would personally wait a bit, though.

  13. Piety is worth using here for anybody who is willing to train here instead of Armored Zombies.
  14. No altar, it slows it down too much. i used alter and got about 85k def exp an hr there though it was first trip could of done better Yeah, but the altar does slow it down to the point that it isn't worth using. I assume you're using Piety, as well. Right?
  15. This guide is a mile long but an inch deed. But that isn't a bad thing, though. And yeah, Lessers and Mossies are bad because they're the stereotypical training spot for F2P. I don't have the time to read it, but it seems like a great guide to me. Good job, definetely. And also one of the best F2P guides on TIF... or is it the only? Either way, it will help a lot of people.
  16. Use the Help and advice forum next time. To answer your question, you don't really need a guide. From 15, power mine Iron until 99 unless if you're a member, then mine Granite at later levels.
  17. I thought you lose 40k/hour at Zombies? Or are we not using the altar? Still, 200k/hour at those xp rates... Jagex, you broke the game. -.-
  18. That would be armored zombies, better then monkies at rates of under 4m an hour. Efficiency wise, do they ever pass them if you include charms? Just go armoured zombies, or if you want the 99 stat ASAP go zombie monkies. Probably not. And at the OPs summoning level, the extra 5k or so XP\hour isn't worth the 310k cash and 9k summoning XP loss. You make 300k/hour at Armored Zombies????????????????????

  20. Slayer is bad exp, drops, and charms, but it gives Slayer xp. I'd do Slayer personally though until you have higher stats, and then you should go to Waterfiends/continue Slaying.
  21. It's no secret. 1) Merchanting. (Must be a pro) 2) 91 Runecrafting/GWD 3) Too many to name, tons of ways to make 400k+/hour.
  22. Go to the portal west of the Zamorak Wizard (Abyss) next to a scorpian. You should be in room 38 of the map shown in the link above. (Gargoyles) Follow the map from there. Edit: O wat. Is this during the quest? :XD: If it is, this is how you kill him after...
  23. Either way Range is a bad way to train Slayer in the long run anyways.
