  1. I grinded through and got my Fighter torso. I was so happy until I noticed - it sucked.
  2. Hmm... I think that a writer is better than a doctor. But that's just me.

I know, and I agreed with that part. But... Which is why I said...

First of all, slayer is the only skill in which training it sacrifices large amounts of XP in another skill, in this case combat; secondly, I created this post to combat the continuous stream of 'train slayer' posts whenever someone asked what the best method to train combat is. That is wrong; if you enjoy slayer, by all means train it, but you will be wasting 100s of millions in lost time by doing so, making slayer one of the most 'expensive' 99s, and a very bad way to train combat. And it seems to have worked; I haven't seen nearly as many 'train slayer' posts, with over 4,000 views on this thread. But if you take another point of view, the time spent training Thieving could be spent in time training Agility, or another useful skill. And you're right, there are too many people who believe Slayer is the best in terms of Charms, money, and xp, when it's bad in all 3.
  5. There will ALWAYS be skillers. It could be a core part of Runescape for some players, but just a trivial pointless aspect to some.
  6. Barbarian assault is so frustrating, I don't know how could even put the fun factor on your side. Don't get it - it sucks, and it's boring to get.
  7. It should. Salve does not stack with Black mask though.
  8. I would wear a Verac's skirt if you're not going to Piety, because you lose a lot of defense.
  9. Equipment - D Med -- Neitiznot - Rune Plate --- Dharok/Proselyte - D Legs ---- Verac's skirt/Proselyte - Obby cape - Obby Shield --- RUNE DEFENDER - D Boots - Glory --- Fury if you can - D Scim --- Whip on controlled WHIP- ON - CONTROLLED It owns everything else. As for training spots, you could try the above, until you get maybe 80 in all stats. Then, GO - TO -ARMOURED - ZOMBIES. Yeah, it's that good.

Me too. I just played with Crazy :XD:
  11. What CAN'T you do with Farming? (Don't point any out :XD: ) Plant Herbs and Trees.

By your logic: * Slayer - What's the point? Armoured zombies are faster xp and money, while camping at Lobster and Waterfiends gives faster charms. Slayer is slower in terms of all 3. * Smithing, Cooking, Firemaking, Fletching, Crafting, and Herblore - You can buy all the end results from other people. * Mining, Fishing, Woodcut, Thieving, and Hunter - They make money, but slower than GWD and Runecrafting. (Maybe not Mining Rune ores.) * Combat, Runecrafting, Agility, Farming, Construction - These are the only truely useful skills. They make money fastest out of all. So what's the point? Besides Quest requirements, there is truly no point to these skills, yet everyone continues to train them. What drives you to continue to train these "useless" skills? Fun? Total level? My point is, it's not only Slayer. It's almost every skill in the game.
  13. It's good for anybody who'se training. It's the first expensive item you buy, and it's really cheap. They were at one point in history 5m ea, you know. :XD: Get it before any other expensive equipment, like Zerkers, Bandos, etc.
  14. Void helm + Black mask can't work.
  15. Just make money, but you can omit the Fury and Fire cpae.
  16. Mountain, ice, thrower trolls. KIll them west of the GWD tele spot, or north or burthrope.
  17. And a Black mask, Verac's skirt, Whip, Fury, Fire cape are all easily obtainable with money and practice (Fire cape isn't hard to get)
  18. Members? If so, nothing comes close to Armored zombies.
  19. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  20. Yeah, you're definetely going to need a cannon. Which tasks you spend it on is up to you, and your money/hour.
  21. http://forum.[Please Use QuickFind Code].ws?98,99,51,57359284 This tells you how much faster it is for each task. Edit: Link is blocked. Just search "Mega Slayer" and look for Zarfot's guide, it should be something like Mega Slayer guide 3.
  22. DFS is the most overrated item ever. Don't get it. Rune defender, Verac's skirt, barrows top, proselyte top and bottom, and the whip for starters. Summoning helps a lot. Combat familiars > bunyip. And about herbs and banking and what-not, it depends on your cash/hour. No need for sara brews during Slaying, except for a few tasks (maybe).
  23. It depends who you're Rickrolling. For example... Would you count this as spam? Think deeply...
