Sure, but this does not subtract from the handful of quality games Nintendo still continue to produce. People will always look at the originals with some sense of nostalgia, that's only natural. IMHO, it's not Nintendo's obsession with a few franchises that's making the quality of games in general lower, or their new drive to appeal to females and younger gamers, but the concept of online play being used as a substitute for offline gameplay. I would rather spend 40 hours doing a FF or a Tales of Symphonia, over spending 40 hours online on SSBB or MK Wii any day. My main point in this thread is that it has been written by someone who clearly does not understand what gaming means to those of us who don't go on XBL and shoot people all day, so I would kindly appreciate it if he stopped judging our games in such an ignorant manner when we don't judge his choice of games. Exactly. I have XBL, i play Cod4 and Battlefield:BC,and i will soon buy Too Human. But i also play Mario Kart Wii and Ocarina of Time. Why? THEY ARE FUN. There is no need to blow someone head off to have fun. Nintendo marketing may not be what you like. But they don't care, they can live without you. It's all about the fun, not the graphics, not the online play, not the media capabilities. The Wii is the only gaming console on the market, the 360 and the Ps3 are media centers. I'll chose Mario Kart over Halo/MGS4 any day.

Weren't you defending the 360 on the Ps3 vs Xbox 360 thread? Anyway, yes, the brick is huge (it's smaller now, but it's still big) RROD is almost extinct,, except for a few cases. Which are mostly old/refurbished 360s. Live shouldn't be free, just lower the price, something like 20$-30$.(I don't know why) On accesories, you use the wheel? i found it useless. Accesories are overpriced, but you don't really need any (except maybe the P&C kit). Xbox should have Wi-Fi, it sucks that it dosn't have but instead of the expensive adapter, you can use a wireless bridge, works the same and is about 25$. Or you can connect it in a laptop, if your router is across the room or you can buy a bigger ethernet cable and put it around the room.

Guitar Hero IV will be alot better than Rock Band 2. That article is full of win. Stillborne? Trapped Under Ice?! BYOB?!? Crazy Train?!?! MR. CROWLEY?!?!? EYE OF THE [bleep]ING TIGER?!?!?!?! :D Zakk Wylde? Ozzy Osbourne? Ozzfest? This article, and the whole Guitar Hero IV is full of win. GH will be alot better than RB, IMO.

I had Rome:TW, best RTS ever. (not counting Age of Empires 2:TC) Civilization franchise is nothing against the TW franchise.

I'm sorry, but I have 2 things against this: A) I never experience any downtime or cheaters on PSN, games are only slow when the host has a bad connection. B) Cheat programs are impossible, because the Playstation OS is closed. No-one could load up or install any codecs without it being allowed by sony. Sony loves people running Fedora and MICROSOFT Windows Xp on the Ps3...

Ok, i think we have enough people for a nice game, (we don't need a lag-fest of 8 people...) So, i previously choose IP connection, (I hate GamePark). We need a host, normally i would offer, but i have a Dinamic IP connection. That means my IP will change every few days. Volunteer is more than welcome. :D

Jagex don't need to work there. Only Nintendo for the Wii, Microsoft for the Xbox360 etcc.. Just need to run Java, maybe release a keyboard and there. You could play the game in the browser. Not actually buiyng a CD and play it.

PS3 will catch up a bit, Wii is slowly getting closer to the Xbox360. The 40gb PS3 looks nice, but IMO, 360 is better, i don't know why...Still, all consoles are having great games/features/updates within time, like Halo3/Wii Zapper/New PS3. They are getting better as time passes. \

Agree, Xbox Live, Wii control and size, and Ps3 graphical power, with firefox as the default internet browser, SD card support, USB support, and desktop, like PC, you "install" games an they appear in your desktop, of course, like a PPC you will need the CD in it to play it. Be able to download things like a PC and a keyboard. O wait, That's a PC on your TV. :wall:

One of the best games ever. But, SSBB is gonna be awesome. Buy both Metroid,, Super Smash Melee, Nightfire, all Resident Evil games, Tales of Synphonia.

I'm buying it when i get to USA, i'm not paying 150 bucks here for a game when i can buy it for $100 if i travel 4 hours :shame: The songlist is awesome, and i'm a huge fan of GH franchise, but i have never owned one :ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâô(. But finally us, the happy Wii owners will rock :D Of course, you can't compare that to playing IRL(I play drums and guitar), but it's fun.

I don't drink energy drinks while gaming, but i have these nasty recipe. WARNING, DON'T DRINK THESE. NEVER...EVER.. 2 RedBull cans. RockStar energy drink can 2 liter Diet Coke Beaver Buzz Granulated Mentos Lost NOS Jolt BOOKOO Mix it all. That's an hidrogen bomb on yor body. If they let the polls open, then the people who pay for the game, who care enough to give money to the company, should get the say. I don't even care about the event, I did it as soon as it came out, droped the hood, and had fun with the emote. Im arguing that people who pay for the game should vote, even if it doesn't count. Not people who 'free load' their accounts. You can't pay for votes. Of course some of the p2p people voted for another thing. Personally, i voted for the brooch that makes you a bone.(pking in boneyard f2p anyone?)
