The day I have been dreaming of :D Now to figure out how to get some good gear, with no time to play.

So I am looking for a long term project for this account (probably 99 mage/range). I am thinking about turning it into a tanker, but I am not exactly sure how tankers are in pvp/in general any more. Thoughts?

Heard it's 7K exp/h more than adze/rune. No, its nothing special... just supposed to help you mine the higher lv ores faster. Whats the difference when your power mining granite or iron and you already one hit them (in a sense) with rune. The dragon also didn't show much difference in many tests I have heard of or seen in videos. Maybe at a real high mining lv but not at an average one... stick with rune imo :D I am sure that there will be some adjustments made to the drag pickaxe once enough people have them and complain.

From my experience, it seems like the average age for a female player is much higher than the average male player. Of course I haven't exactly taken a survey, so this could be far off.

I have a 40 70 1 who does OK, (prayer is 13). Range/2h combo could be an option to look in to.

Barrows pretty much gave me a surplus supply of runes.

Hello all, since class is about to start up again, i decided not to renew members. I am thinking about trying to raise some skills and make some cash on the side. The only two things I can think of are yews and rune mining. Yews seem to be overly crowded all the time and I do not have 85 mining. Are there an other decent money making schemes? I was also thinking about lobbys/swordies but I also can't figure out a good banking plan. Anyone have some other ideas?

I like this idea ALOT. I dont mind breaking a finger or two while getting 99 Magic. I don't even mind breaking my wrist as i hardly ever find use for it :D Anyway, can Diamond bolts be purchased for lower than market price on the G E? The problem with diamond bolts is that they a) fluctuate A LOT (as I am sure you know) and B) you can only buy and sell so many within a given time frame (40k/4 hrs? Something like that). This results in that you will either not be able to constantly enchant for the 4 hr(?) time frame or you will have to buy in bulk over night, which could cause you to loose a lot.

Superheat isn't bad. At times, mith makes slight profit, and superheating iron is faster than alching. Did you do slayer for training range? I can't decide on whether to range slayer tasks, or traing range after 83/85 slayer.

You recieve ~1.3 molten glass per 1 raw set. The mage xp/hr I was getting was around 35k/hr.

One cast does all the raw materials in your inv, and you get up to 13 extra, so you can get up to 26 glass from one cast. I have never gotten 26 from one cast. I think the most I have recieved is 19-20ish.

I am going to try to go from 80-85 slayer before class starts back up. The problem is that I only have ~3.5m cash pile and I plan on getting atleast 79 summoning once I gather the charms. So far I have only been cannoning dags and kalphites, and praying 10% on the rest. Are there any other tasks where the cannon Greatly speeds things up? On some of the other tasks I have tried, it dosen't seem like it increases speed very much, to be worth the cost. Thanks!

This makes no sense at all. So in other words, if you train less efficiently, it is more respectable? backward priorities? I like the theiving cape. As someone else has said, it is no RC/mining/Agility cape, but still nice.

Okay, see, now that's [expletive deleted] lucky. Dust devils and fire giants? Those are some of the best tasks you can get. I wish I could get a loop like that. True, but greaters are horrible. I would love to block them but my blocklist is full.

I am having fire giants, greater demons and dust devils for 34 tasks now (except for one mith dragon task and a couple black demons tasks).

You could try magic ess potions for cheap (but tedious) herblaw xp.

I'm kind of in the same situation as you, but my range level is a lot lower. I haven't quite decided what to do, but I am meleeing right now untill I finalize a plan.

What master? Obviously I have not done slayer a lot but, I was getting around 16 to 17k per task. Also depends on if you are using cannon (melee xp, to clarify).

One time is not enough data to base an argument off of. To op: Seems fairly normal to me. I seemed to have gotten more blood runes than you, but it could be due to other factors.

I would do sumona all the way. Put your house in pollvinich (sp?) and either carry a house tele tab or a dust and a law for easy getting new tasks.

You can use it at wildy, although with the new run update it may not be worth it (as far as energy goes).

Seems like the majority of my money making methods are not effective any more. So I am thinking about getting 83/85 slayer or questing enough to do While Guthix Sleeps to kill TD's (181 qp). I really, really hate questing BUT While Guthix Sleeps will get me to 71 prayer, which I have been meaning to get. I only play during summer break, so I don't think I will have enough time to do both. Thoughts?

How much more xp/hr will you (expect to) achieve by using a warrior(i) than a ROW? Does the spot you are training at have any worthwhile drops anyways?
