Methinks you need a few extra shades between brown and orange on hair. The orange sticks out too much, 'specially in the purple one. And the hair... it looks pillow shaded, to be honest. Otherwise, I rather like this one.

In some ways, I thin you added too much... glittery stuff to it. The white glow is a bit much, and the render could be in a more interesting position as well, instead of smack dab in the center.

I literally laughed my [wagon] off when I read this! Freedom? To what? Forever confine others to a fate of suffering and misery in order for one's personal gain? He is also under the illusion that one has such socioeconomic freedoms in the first place. It is the restrictions placed by the capitalists that discourages the progress of society, though new inventions and such. If capitalism was allowed free reign, then Walmart would be the only store still standing, since it basically kills any new business development in every area that it parks it's [wagon] on. Furthermore, if Big business was given control of the economy, then both human heath and the health of the environment would surely be in jepoardy. People freak out when they hear the word "Communism" because of the backwash due to the Red Scare. Its sad to see that even today, over fifty years since, people are still so ignorant.

Methinks you need to learn to look at things. As of now, you draw... symbolically. This isn't a bad thing, but it hinders your ability to draw realistically. Just looking at the character's face... the ears for example. Here, instead of drawing an actual ear, you draw a symbol for an ear. This is why manga drawing should generally be avoided by artist swho don't have a firm grasp of realism. We can sit here and tell you to go do still lifes all we want, but your not going to get better if you can't look at things. It's really hard to explain how to do this if you don't already know how... 1. Pick an object. 2. Study it. Try to envision it as more a collection of lines than an object. Make sure to look at the negative spaces around the object as well. 3. Drawing upside down helps.

Imagine a paragraph where the author describes everything the characters are doing. Now imagine that, but on the scale of an entire book! The Stand was a pain to read. I stopped about half-way though it... Note to Mr. King- Just because a book is long doesn't make it your best book ever! That would be Pet Sematary, in my opinion. Either that or Desperation.

I should be he[bolded]. Remember, you don't need to tell everything that when on between action segments. You can trust in the reader's ability to infer some of the action. "Stronger than a normal person"? Well that's obvious! What about "stronger than ten men"? That gives the reader a more definite description of his strength. Bad Grammar! :shame: Last sentence isn't one, It would actually be better if you could integrate it back into the previous sentence somehow.

I don't do pixel art banners really... it takes WAY too much time. Sorry.

As for Stephen King... I rather like him. He self-parodies a lot though... One hath reached rock bottom when one hath degraded to self-parody. :roll:
