What are your thoughts on grand exchange merchanting?
Sorry, my earlier post I had just rushed through the thread. And, after re-reading it I saw your post. What you say about the clan merchanting is incorrect, it depends on what TYPE of clan you're in. The basic Flipping group or the clans with 100's of members that BUY OUT an item so that it DOES rise 5% per day. Me and a few others built up a channel (#Ge.M) For that exact reason, and became the BIGGEST buying out channel. Whatever item was set was bought out within seconds, and, of course came the 5% rise. We couild hold for well over a week if we wanted to, or even push it to two weeks depending on the item. The profits coming in were just pure amazing. And, Harrinator. That's precisely what the two of the types are. The third, being the clan flipping groups.

What are your thoughts on grand exchange merchanting?
Grand Exchange merchanting is the best way to make money without doing anything, no doubt about it. I, along with my clan and other clans manipulate the prices of items for our own profit. Who the hell cares? We're using a method that Jagex introduced into the game, it's good and easy money. People complaining are the ones that can't do it.

3rd age too rare for money?
Erm, Wat? :?

3rd age too rare for money?
That's the most stupidest thing I've ever heard, seriously. Having hold of a 3a Helm I hear so many people saying "Why would you pay that much for junk?" It's not junk. I bought it because I could, and because I can never really lose money by owning it. My idea, on how they've gotten so expensive is because, of course, GWD was released. This gave players that weren't merchants a new found source of riches, which many many people did to make billions. Party hats crashing were just not a good item, and there was no other armour that could show wealth other than Third Age. It's rare to find, and it's very appealing. All the sets really stand out, players chose to buy into this armour because of what it was. A symbol of wealth, combined with that of a Blue Partyhat or equal, clearly showed anyone that you weren't messing about and that you had money to spend. More and more people came across the GWD and did it for epic amounts of money, soon flooding the market of what most people would have thought was amazing (Godswords and that). Leaving us where we are today, the rarest armours in the game are where they should be, very expensive and highlighy sought after items.

Levels of Respect
I Love You Xanotex! Anyway, I feel I'm one of these players. Ones that don't like low levels. When someone is Red when I right click them, I respect them a little. When they're orange, green or yellow I don't. Why? I've no idea. I'd hate to see what I'd turn into at level 138. I gain new friends each day because of the armours I wear (strangely enough, most are 120+ That I add.) My friendslist is mostly populated with Rich, high level players. Upon request of a low level to add me as a friend, I will simply ignore them or tell them my list's full. I'm happy the way I am, and I will continue to be. I'm only level 107, but having wealth and knowledge on how to gain wealth really gets you places. Most of the time, I get "Pc your 3a" "Pc your Dragon" "Lol, nice borrowed 3a". That, pisses me off terribly. Having to go through the bother of unequiping my armour just to prove it's mine is really something I don't like doing. If I could stab them in the face over the internet, I would. So, to summarise, if your combat level is red chances are I'll have some respect for you. Orange, a small, small bit of respect. And any other colour, unless you're my friend, I'll have little to no respect unless I'm shown it.

:( What did I do :(
I would never, ever report a good friend for something like that. I've seen other friends friendships crumble when they do something like reporting one. I wouldn't like it to happen to me, and, godforbid, if I was ever banned or something if using some type of illegal software/tools for RuneScape I would hope it wasn't a friend. They really were never your friends if they would report you, or you report them. :shame:

The Bank: RuneScape's Hook
Yes, I have been faced with the "drop the stuff or quit playing". I ended up dropping over 14M one of the times. It was just plain horrible. :wall:

The Short Living Item
Right, that paragraph is bs. I had the claws, hours after there release. I used them every day for many hours, and they were excellent. They tore up any opponent, and literally no one could stand in my way. They were like this for days, and then they were nerfed. I tried them daily, after this and as I expected, I could BARELY hit anything good with them. My hits were just plain horrible, I was losing in duels against 1 def pures. Compared to my previous 2-hitting 120+'s.- What you're saying is just an excuse. They were nerfed, get over it. They're not worth their price tag, and 90% of the people buying them don't know they were nerfed or have the same idea in there head that it's just a way to try and lower the price. That buddy, is fact. They WERE nerfed, and I can have a whole lot of people tell you that that I know. They have them, too. I'm pretty sure I saw a Jagex mod stating in a post that "their were no major changes to the dragon claws" Keyword: Major! They were ruined.

The Short Living Item
Several times, infact. And Compfreak, from what I hear the quest isn't all that hard. As an above poster said, he/she completed it at 95 combat. I'd like to see proof that a 90-110 couldn't obtain a pair of claws themselves. If you can't, why bother posting?

That is quite the achievement there, Bruno. Very well done, I like it. I don't have the patience to play that mini-game.

No! My Runescape Site is better!
The community here is just plain great, most people now everyone/most people  . Our Homeworld (World 99, for most) is full of Tip.Iters and wherever you go, you're likely to meet someone nice. It's not full of people whining people/annoyances. It's just, Tip.It? We are Tip.It . Who would chose a fansite to go to because they won a war (obliterated the others, in fact). That'd be stupid.
-
Communication Elimanition?
I can assure you that it's not "Super duper nerdy scripting page that seems wierd to read". It's a perfectly fine place, full of the nicest people from Tip.It . It's based on your own preference, if you don't want to don't come in. The Tip.It chat in my opinion is just great. Always has been (since I first started going) and always will be, I'm sure.

What if you had more inventory slots?
Erm, you can whole extra items making skilling easier/monster hunting. That's a simple answer that can answer your question. There is really no cons with it.

This game is Dreadful! Cancel my Membership!
This. Simply boredom that draws me to RuneScape, and the fact that once you start you can never stop. :wall:

The Short Living Item
You obviously don't understand the whole "junk trading" thing. The item's not worth 100M, the junk is. No one would pay 100M cash in return for a pair of Dragon Claws alone, that'd be just stupid. Trading money for the item & junk means you're actually getting said item at trade price. And Wow, you would buy them for the XP you get? Lol. It's not an "experience special" it's a potentially-lethal-ko'ing-weapon.

How Much is Your Account Worth to You?
I am very serious, I could earn 500 in no time, it's the countless hours I've put into my account that I can't get back. If I was to quit, permanently, I'd be happier to know that hundreds of hours of time spent are still somewhere I can use. I'm guessing you only read the first 4 words of my post... Actually, no, I read all of it. If account trading was legal no high levels would be selling theirs unless they were hacked. I wouldn't sell my account to upgrade, because that's no achievement. I wouldn't sell it for any money.

How Much is Your Account Worth to You?
OVER 9000! OnTopic: I would never, ever sell my account. To many hours put into it to give it away.
