  1. Ugh, I'd love to know mine. I know Jagex could tell us. Remember in the news updates they'd tell us some of the accounts they banned? They'd tell us the total level + amount of hours plated. I know mine would be in the 1000's. :geek:

I never said you had to... Where did that come from? Were you even reading? I don't think he was, trying to boost his post count by posting random things ftl? You don't need to hate me because we have different opinions you know. And cheefoo, you said you had to every quest in the game for them. Every quest in the game to obtain them (to get them as a drop) he meant.

I know what I wrote is far off, but a lot of the hits are common. As you said, mostly it's based on your first it. If your first hit is a 1, the chances are it'll be just 1-0 and the other two hits won't appear. Or even 0-1 without the other two hits showing. That's not when the opponent is already near dieing. Quite often, my first his with a spec will be 1-0 or 0-1 and the other two hits will not show. But alot of the time the three hits do add up the 4th hit.

Because people CAN get them from the GE due to coinshared drops. Something worth 600k that's as powerful spec wise as the ags is classed as overpowered by a lot of people. the chance to get them from the GE is minimal, seriously. The price tag isnt the reason why people complain it's overpowered. The reason they complain is that, IF you get lucky with the spec, you are dead, instantly. Period. (sorry soma, but most people dont wear divine shields in pvp, and constantly top off their hp to 115, and have shark and tuna tater ready to instantly eat). Since most people dont post their junk specs, people think you get those insanely high specs everytime. Difference with ags then is that it's max is a lil higher, and it can do 2 specs in the time ags does one spec. Ags on the other hand seems to be more accurate, from what I hear. Special wise, I think the claws are accurate. Ags is good because it's used as a main weapon whereas the claws wouldn't be. The chance of someone getting the claws is minimal, I know that. I'm just showing an example. People will always complain about this item until it is nerfed or whatever. I said why "some" people complain about why it's overpowered is because of how cheap it is. I didn't say everyone, did I?
  6. Sorry, but has this picture got anything to do with it? (It's the one from the login screen near the GWD entrance?) Sorry if it's wayyyyy off topic but the helm looks similar etc.

(it wasn't that bad of an arguement, btw.) People are complaining about this being overpowered because of it's price. If it was 30M+ trade price, no one would complain. It's because it's cheap. It's not all that accurate, but for the damage it can do it's a VERY dangerous weapon. I know if I was in Bount Hunter or some other place and had just pk'd something nice, I certainly wouldn't want to bump into someone with claws. That isn't how it works. If you want me to, I could upload a load of pics I have of the spec. Some of the hits are random, I'll agree with that. But others, follow the pattern that was posted previously. 100%-50%-25%-25% . Most of my pictures follow that pattern, although a small few of the numbers have been rounded off. By trade price, what do you mean? If you mean Grand Exchange, then yes, they're too low. However, no one sells on the GE unless they're dumb enough to use coinshare. If you mean market world-2esque junk trading black market kinda thing, I swore I saw people buying for more than 30mil. I also hear that dragon claws are twice as rare as an Armadyl hilt, and it requires all quests beaten (in the future, most of them). However, I'm sure that people have more trouble fighting Kree'ara than Tormented Demons... If you want to call something overpowered for its price, look at the dragon dagger. Going by your rules, it should have been "nerfed" years ago. Wait, I think you misread what I typed or I typed it all out wrong. What I was trying to say in that is that some people are saying it's overpowered because how cheap it is, Grand Exchange price. I certainly don't want it nerfed, it's fine just as it is. No, they're Impossible to buy on the Ge. Hence the reason people are offering 60M+ for them. You can't Merchant something you can't get 8-) True : How is it possible though? I don't even have a clue how junk trading works :| Junk trading doesn't really gain you any real profit unless you made it yourself. Take for example, maple (u) bows. People add Thousands of them to a trade to bump the price of the item up. It's really just limiting the amount of people that can buy the item. I.e. No lvl 60 for example would be able to afford it if it's 60M (some might) but the average, level 120 would be. They can buy it then get rid of the junk through lending it out or some other method thus meaning they got the claws for trade price. If you make the junk yourself it's 100% profit but it takes a LONG time. So, a pair of claws worth 500k are put in a trade along with 60k maple (u) long bows worth 8640k meaning the total price of the trade is 9140k but the 8640k maple (u) you receive is basically useless. Something that you can never sell.

  10. I believe he's trying to tell us that his friend has beaten it and he wants some glory. Being the first to complete the quest is something (Simons Pure <3) But being the lowest level possible that Jagex have set isn't.

Yes, Amundogus2 I'm guessing you don't have a pair? As I said in the other thread, only people that don't have them will be the ones to complain. No, I don't. But I have logged into a pvp world with full hp and been instantly k0ed by a pair, nothing I could do about it. While the D Clawer just had to spec away. No skill, no fair. Go get yourself a pair of dragon claws then then we'll see who's doing the complaining. There's always someone that won't be happy with what Jagex introduce into the game. :shame: Yeah let's release a 98 farming tree that grows godswords. Only the ones without 98 farming will be complaining :D Lol. The claws don't require a certain skill level to obtain from another player, he can get them. He shouldn't complain just because someone else has them. If he had them, he certainly wouldn't be complaining (Think I've said this enough times).
  13. *Scouts through the 100's of people that have done it to find someone lower than his friend* /sarcasm. Until someone says "Yes, I'm level 85 and I've done it" We won't know.

  16. Is there a point in this thread, really? As SirHartlar pointed out it shouldn't be to big of a deal for a level 85 to do it. That's the lowest level that can possibly do it. /thread

I think that's just a rumor. It couldn't possibly be true... Could it, COULD IT?! It's certainly possible. Jagex nerfs things like that all the time. When you say "nerf" you make it sound like a negative thing. "Fix" is the right word to use here. Wait, what? You call something going from.. lets say... Rare to common a "fix" and no that item being "nerfed" Or something going from an almighty 2hko (yes, I did see the above post by Brianite I just thought I'd throw it in) weapon to something that never hits? Or something going from a rare drop to something as common as muck? That's not a "fix" that's called the item being "nerfed by Jagex". This weapon isn't like the other dragon weapons it's the complete opposite. It's actually VERY GOOD! This can't be purchased in the shops like the other dragon weapons. [/hide] It's overpowered. The thing can get anyone down from max hp to 0 before they can eat more than once. It's not like you need skill to pull it off either. Yes, it could be classed as overpowered for some. But it's a Great weapon. It's a rare weapon. It's expensive for a reason. No one wants Jagex to come and "work there magic" on this item.

  20. Exams, what? What are they? Very nice my friend, very nice. Get 99 already. :P
  21. +1 d claws more common=lower price =P~ That's what I don't want. #-o who gives a [bleep] about what you want, dragon claws are WAY over priced and who gives a [cabbage] about what YOU want? if people are willing to pay millions for a pair of d claws, then it's not overpriced. because people know the strength of the special and how much it's worth to them. Walka92, I give a [cabbage] about what I want. Clearly, abyssal_whip does to. The weapon isn't overpriced, it's severely under priced. It's a rather rare drop from a level 450 demon. The only ones thta actually go into the ge are from people that were unlucky enough to get it coinshared. It should be worth ALOT more trade price. People are still offering 50M+ & even 3a for them. That's how good they are. I only paid 10M for my second pair, out of luck. If you aren't lucky to get one as a drop, good luck buying one. The ONLY people complaining about them are those that want a pair but can't get one. If you had a pair you wouldn't want them to be nerfed at all. That's how good they are. Quoted from the "Dragon Claws" thread: The part which I highlighted is also another reason. It's not the same as other dragon weapons which can all be bought.
  22. You forgot the capital "R". [/spelling nazi] It's always mis-pronounced. For one, my mom calls it "Run! Escape!" and my text program calls it "Rune Eskp". :P Hehe Killerred005, incase you didn't notice it's "RuneScape" Anyway, to the topic starter, You don't start to play World of Warcraft from the websites page, do you? Isn't it loaded from a disc? Whereas, RuneScape isn't. Also, Yahoo! Ftl.

i would sell them for 25mil if i had junk or maybe 15 mil to my friend if i had junk, but i have been offered 91 mil and ags+sgs for my d claws Yes, they're still selling for crazy amounts but wow they're getting common. When I got my pair the day after they were released, NO ONE had them. They were possibly the RAREST thing in the game at that stage. I'd not seen anyone with claws in the two days that followed. Not even anyone selling them in world 2. Now, you have the right offer & you'll get a pair. I do hope what Bruno said isn't true, that'd just completely ruin them. We'll just wait and see. Currently, in world 2 there are 3 people offering 70M cash for them.
  24. And Down goes the Dragon Chainbody.
  25. Interesting, that'd mean your surname is Meoff? Jack-meoff would be to obvious. :(
