  1. Exactly. Though I don't like the whole Idea of nuclear weapons, they have prevented war. Countries like US, UK, even Russia to some extent are all competent when it comes to them. NK on the other hand, is not. Kim is completely insane, he's only in power because he inherited it.
  2. That's another thing I hate. Clans. The last gmod RP clan I was in was run by a cool guy, but when he went to college he gave it to his slightly younger brother who was a fascist dictator.
  3. Stereotypical OT Answer: I blame religion and the media.
  4. UK has nukes and we have no problem with that. But do YOU want countries like Iran and NK to have them?
  5. Not true. That technology was never proven to work and Obama put a stop to it because Russia didn't like us having it.
  6. You're using logic to predict what NK will do. That won't work with them.
  7. I honestly think you could make us Americans worship Canada just with that information y_guy
  8. THAT WAS AWESOME
  9. This is getting scary. They need to be destroyed as soon as possible.
  10. Orders are useless if there's nobody to execute them.
  11. I believe I now have reason to bring this thread back. Muzzy Lane, the developer, has a small forum community on it's site. It has one section called the After Action Report, where players can tell of their conquests. I was just on there and wanted to post two of my favorites I found. [hide=Eastwards We March - An Alternative Russian Battle Plan]In 1929, Stalin did not become the supreme leader of the USSR. Instead the position was taken by a certain Alexei Kombarov, a proud man from the provincial town of Irkutsk. With a family heritage traceable to the great Mongol hordes, his vision for Russia's future was just as aggressive as Stalin's, but with a key difference - whilst the Georgian looked to the industrial West, Kombarov did not want to risk war with the powerful Commonwealths of Britain and France, instead seeking to reclaim the fields of his forefathers to the East. In 1936, the old province of Tuva was reintegrated into the USSR, and Mongolia soon followed with minimal resistance. The bulk of the Red Army was following the newly-improved transport network to the eastern provinces, and every single one of Russia's humble provincial towns had been transformed into capable industrial centres, with some continuing to progress at a rapid rate. At the turn of the year, an aggressive Japan declared its intentions by striking along the Sino-Manchurian border, and Kombarov chose this precise moment to order his army to the Western Chinese border. Less than a decade in power, and Kombarov already looked like vastly increasing the size of the USSR. In March Russian tanks first rolled across the border into Sinkiang, and the Chinese defenders were simply overwhelmed, their under-equipped army of conscripts falling to the might of Soviet armour. Unable to send reinforcements from the west due to the ferocious battles with Japan, the Chinese authroties could only read the battle reports in horror as their country slipped away one province at a time. Receiving intelligence that Japan was on the verge of a major brekthrough in the border province of Chahar, Kombarov made the decision to rush his armour across to the Yellow Sea, seeking to cut off the advancing Japanese in order to claim the bulk of the Middle Kingdom for the expanding Soviet empire. Needless to say, the treads of Russian tanks were much more capable of negotiating the tough terrain than the Japanese infantry, and as Christmas drew near, all that remained of the once great Chinese nation was the island of Hainan. As the defeated Chinese government sued for peace at any cost, there were celebrations in the Kremlin but not without reservations - further intelligence sugested that Germany was ready to smash across Eastern Europe, which would surely threaten the cosmopolitan cities of Moscow and St Petersburg. In the early months of 1938, the Russian economy found itself struggling to cope, as huge improvements in the Chinese road network were needed alongside a largescale increase in the military budget. With a strong navy becoming increasingly necessary in order to fend off a Japanese nation hungry for power and influence in South-East Asia, Kombarov found himself forced to sell much of his newly-won grain supplies just to stay afloat. Nevertheless, when Hitler's Germany caused panic in Europe by blitzing through Austria and Czechoslovakia in July and September respectively, Kombarov felt quietly confident that any Nazi attack could be dealt with by his border forces. The continent exploded in November as a power-hungry Hitler seized Denmark at the cost of War with Britain, and instead of worrying, the Russian leader sensed yet another opportunity to further establish his position as the dominant power in Asia. If Germany were to succeed, they would need oil. Surely they would receive it either through trade or by conquest, and so Kombarov seized a chance to boost Russia's flagging economy. In the first week of December 1938, Russian troops marched into Persia, yet again failing to draw a response from an international community too concerned with halting the Nazi rise than protecting their Eastern interests...[/hide] [hide=Ninjanuke's first time playing on Hard. (it's better than it sounds)](First game ever on Hard, played with U.S. Go America! Have to say this is fun, though I wish the diplomatic system was a little more in depth -.-) 1936-The Limits of Peace The new American President is sworn in. The first steps he takes is setting all cities on heavy production and building all state's agricultural and transportation systems. To cut back on spending he eliminates all air force units and ports all sea units. He gathers all formal US army units and renames them National Guard units, America no longer has a standing army save for the reserves. Economic aid immediately is sent to Republic Spain,China,Egypt, and the Netherlands. 1937- Most if not all the economic changes have paid off. The American economy is booming and plenty of other nations are eating up American produced goods. America has also made many allies in this era, with the declaration of war against National Spain and the alliance with China. Things are well until China is declared on by Japan. The President in return ups aid to China and mobilizes America's navy, sending it to Asia. Meanwhile at home, effort is made to produce enough arms for the war, as the military is at 20% supply. Volunteer troops are raised in the Philippines and in Hawaii, and efforts are made to modernize the American military. Sometime in December of 1937- Disaster! The American navy successfully engages the Japanese navy in a confrontation in the Taiwan straight. Both sides take heavy losses, but the Americans win through. Luckily arms are in abundance for the troops overseas. Meanwhile on the Asian front, Japan makes great gains in China. The nationalist army is overwhelmed in a matter of months. 1938- After the great naval battle, the Americans have naval superiority and blockade Japan. The Japanese are unable to land any additional troops onto the main continent, however that doesn't help the Chinese at all, for they need American ground troops, not air support. (Perhaps this is a preview of the future Korean Conflict/Vietnam War?). In the Asian front, the Americans have a around 9 divisions comprised of men from the Philippines and 8 fighter squadrons of locally recruited pilots. In March, mainland China is fully conquered, but the Nationalist government manages to flee to Taiwan. The battered American navy and the Filipino recruited airmen and soldiers manage to fight off 4 Japanese attempts to take the island. Meanwhile back home, the first American mechanized infantry unit is assembled. The basis of the first USMC Expeditionary Force has begun. 1939- In Europe, Germany has begun spilling out over. Austria falls, as soon Belgium, America's aid infused Netherlands, Poland, Greece. And the British Commonwealth are engaged in war. The USSR takes advantage of the chaos to invade the Baltic states and Finland. France is defeated in 1 and a half months, signing a treaty leaving them only 4 provinces in Europe and their overseas colonies. The American president begins funding towards Bulgaria and Romania, who immediately join the American alliance and declare war on Japan. Back on the Asian front, Filipino-American troops stage an amphibious landing upon Guandong China. It fails. After four tries, Filipino mechanized infantry units land on mainland China, while the 1st USMC Expeditionary Force comprised of 10 mechanized infantry divisions 4 light artillery and 4 light tank divisions land in Northern Japan. They are soon reinforced by the 2nd USMC Expeditionary Force with the same units cept 4 Medium tank divisions. America also deploys the 3rd USMC Ex Force to Republican Spain, where the nationalists are defeated and they join the American Alliance(with zero cities and one strip of land). The Filipino troops manage to liberate China and push into Korea, Tibet is kept under American control and efforts to develop its cities is underway. In Japan, the last Japanese strongholds have fallen leading to American occupation of the island nation. Filipino-American troops eventually conquer Korea, leading to the American Alliance's victory in Asia. For their efforts, each of the Philippine's cities are brought up to 50 industrial production cities and become advanced cities, the Philippines are also freed to become their own nation, and are immediately supplied with American goods to keep the alliance. The Americans keep a firm hold in Asia while building all the cities to 50 IPC. The Filipino-American troops who served America and liberated China by themselves (roughly 29 mechanized infantry and 10 jet fighter squadrons) are disbanded. The two USMC armies quickly leave a token garrison force to protect against communist influence before returning to American to replenish their losses. There, they join up with the 5th and 6th USMC expeditionary forces. America's armed forces now number close to 6 million men (according to the population thingy). The war in Europe is pretty much over with a Germany who is afraid of declaring war on the American Alliance and on the USSR. The British Commonwealth don't have the manpower to invade the continent. 1940- This year passes as the American president switches military production back into civilian production. Conflicts have ceased in Europe, though politically there is still war. The US builds up its stockpiles of supplies, reaching nearly 30k extra consumer goods and 9k arms. Japan+Korea+Tibet all now have 50 IPC and have joined the American Alliance. Asia is peaceful, the world is peaceful. 1941-Interestingly, the Germany has spilled over the Spanish border, and American/Spanish forces are caught with surprise. The American Spanish Command force comprised of 9 mechanized infantry divisions 4 self propelled guns 4 light tank divisions and 4 medium tank divisions, are pressed hard to hold the border against more than 58 German divisions. Italy also presses the attack with a navy of more than 29 ships of all classes. America goes into high alert, however only 1 expeditionary force is ready for deployment. It'll take time for the US to become war ready again. Romania and Bulgaria is also taken by surprised and overwhelmed with their American allied garrisons. The AA(American Alliance) forces are fought back until the arrival of the 6th USMC expeditionary force. However those scales are tipped once Nationalist Spain joins the enemy and proceeds to join the carnage( like literally I manage to bomb the German units to like 40 and the AA pumps in enough troops to hold a standoff, than the stupid AI of nationalist spain joins them and its 3 basic infantry units pretty much turn the tide -.-) Republican Spain is pushed back to a last remaining province, and it looks like it will fall until the arrival of 3 USMC forces arrive, winning and pushing the German Axis troops back. American troops manage to retake all of Spain, and with the arrival of 2 other USMC forces, they secure Spain. (I couldn't go into Germany directly cause France surrendered and there was French provinces blocking). A seaborne invasion is launched with 2 USMC forces, but they are met with a 4k point strong resistance force comprised of German and Italian troops. The American forces are defeated and massacred. The British, who have used the last two years to recover, launch a last ditch invasion while the American forces are decimated, managing to take Normandy. The British Alliance and the American Alliance is then united, creating the Greater American Alliance. With the arrival of America's former colonies's soldiers, the AA manages to land troops while British Commonwealth troops manage to wipe out the GA(German Alliances) Forces from the Middle East, and Africa. Another D-day is launched using 4 USMC Expeditionary Forces in Italy, and American troops drive towards Berlin while its allies drive from the West. 1942- (I was disappointed, but WW2 Ended here.) AA forces capture Berlin, and the first American Nuclear bomber rolls from the production lines. Nothing notable happens leading the world to a new era of peace and prosperity due to American actions taken in World War 2. Not sure why Russia didn't invade Germany as history had it happened. Nor did it expand beyond Finland and Poland. China grew impressively as a power but stayed allied. Korea also grew powerful and stayed allied. Japan regain power and helped out greatly with its navy. I learned that sending aid to potential allies helps alot! I'm not sure about military aid though, it seems that no matter how much stuff i pumped into Nationalist china, it kept on losing. It seemed only to prolong its fate. Thanks![/hide] Here's the link to the forum: https://www.making-history.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=18 Post here if you see any you like!
  12. Agreed, there's fangirlism, but that's just unhealthy.
  13. And with your post, snowball, I'm convinced. More classes need to do things like this. On Thursday the teacher admitted that while she and the "victims" were in the hall, several teachers and administrators walked by and saw them with their heads against the wall, made a confused face, looked like they were about to say something, then just kept on walking. This just says so much.
  14. Excactly, I have a lot of sympathy for the American people over 9/11 but I totally reject the notion that a lot of Americans (not you specifically, I mean generally) have that their nation has a monopoly on morality and that they're whiter than white when it comes to terrorism. And this is why the world will stay bad until either A) All countries form a single alliance. B) We are all united under a single flag. This is what we need: One people, one empire, one leader. Nothing can go wrong with that! ...oh yeah. [hide=For the few people on here that don't get it.]Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuhrer translates to One People, one Empire, one Leader.[/hide]
  15. ... #-o A flood of quotes is coming. Anyway, the CIA is nowhere near as bad as Al Quaeda.
  16. Not paying attention and almost getting killed by basilisks.
  17. From what I gather, he's going against waterboarding because when he tried it himself he thought it felt awful. Yeah. It does. That's the freaking point. Like I said earlier, the only reason torture is no good is because we can't guarantee they know anything, which means we just tortured an innocent person for nothing and probably got some false information along the way. I agree we shouldn't use torture, I just don't agree with his reason.
  18. Again with the unnecessary insults making up the bulk of your posts?

  20. I need to bring this up again, what do you mean by this?
  21. I have that one. It's great to get like 6 people to go on it and come up with all different games. If you do get it, here's one I recommend. Ned and His Assorted Band of Barnyard Buddies (my cousin who gave it this name is a neurologist now :uhh: ) Basically, get a whole bunch of people on and get like 10 medium sized balls that will bounce when you jump. If you get hit by one you're out. Simple, but great fun.
  22. Good stuff, really want to see what its like online. How large is the download? 627 MB. Tbh, there's only 1 gamemode available and I really didn't enjoy it :?
  23. It obviously means that we will have genetic mutation labs. Of course, these labs will be on our evil floating lairs built using the Sailing skill.
  24. Multiplayer demo is available for download on the XBL marketplace.
