15 years in jail for possession of manga...
Having manga(a japanese comic) doesn't make you a pedophile. It never said they found anything on his computer, just that they searched it. I read manga too. It's a manga about CP, that's what makes it nasty. I never said anything about reading japanese comics making you pedo at all. I was pointing out that he has an unhealthy obsession with manga and he's a pedo. Lrn2read. Only a few of those magazines had CP in them. Having alot of manga is not "unhealthy," some people like building model planes/boats/trains/cars, some like to race remote controlled cars, he likes to read manga. In the original DragonBall series you see a child Goku naked, does that make everyone who read that book a pedo? Same with the people who watched the anime episode for it. I know only a few he had cp in them. I still think that having 1,200 normal manga is unhealthy, it reminds me of this: No, reading Dragonball manga does not make you a pedo. That is non-sexual nudity. Unhealthy? So now we're throwing people in jail because of their hobbies? As long as it's not hurting anyone it should be fine. Now out of 1,200 mangas three had CP drawn into it. I do not see how that number means they were ordered for the CP only. [/hide] Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never said he should go to jail for having an obsession. He should go to jail for looking at cp. But why should he go to jail for it if it's not harming anyone? That is the deciding factor.

Left 4 Dead
Exactly what I was thinking. It's a bit soon to be releasing stuff about a sequel IMO. Especially for a Source game that's BUILT for modding.

Is God real post your thoughts!
It's a good topic, in the sense that it's an important question with a pretty balanced argument and number of supporters on each side. But after 200+ pages, I think we're just beating a dead horse. Everything that can be said on the matter has been said over and over again.

Left 4 Dead
WHAT THE HELL? One year later? That's too soon. Besides, a sequel isn't even needed? How many years has CS:S been out and it's STILL popular? This is even better than that, so what was the point of a sequel? Move on to the next thing Valve, we want Episode 3!

E3 2009 - The Big 3 & the Minorities
Christ, we didn't need L4D 2, it should have been left to mods on PC like they're other successful game, and left to wither and die on 360.

Well. Red Dawn is dead.
So we all remember Red Dawn right? An awesome movie during the 1980's about a militia of high school kids who take up arms and are actually able to accomplish a bit, thanks to guerilla tactic. (Lets face it, if they tried to do it the conventional way they'd be dead in the first 10 minutes) Today I decided to look it up on Wikipedia, and whadayaknow. "Two top executives at MGM, Harry Sloan and Mary Parent, announced that a remake of Red Dawn is in the early stages of pre-production in May 2008 at the Festival de Cannes. This was announced along with a big-budget rebuild of RoboCop, which director Darren Aronofsky among others has recently been in to discuss. The remake of Red Dawn is slated to be directed by Dan Bradley, who has previously worked as a second unit director and stunt coordinator on films such as The Bourne Ultimatum, Spiderman 3 and the Quantum of Solace. MGM has announced that Red Dawn will be remade "keeping in mind the post-9/11 world that we're in".[1][5] In a further announcement the same month, Dan Bradley has been confirmed as the director with Carl Ellsworth, screenwriter of Red Eye and Disturbia writing the updated screenplay.[1][6] Ellsworth will be working from a story written by Jeremy Passmore. Vincent Newman (A Man Apart) is also acting in a producer capacity.[7] Australian Chris Hemsworth has been cast in a lead role.[8] Ellsworth has said The tone is going to be very intense, very much keeping in mind the post-9/11 world that were in, says Ellsworth, who was 11 when the original was released. As Red Dawn scared the heck out of people in 1984, we feel that the world is kind of already filled with a lot of paranoia and unease, so why not scare the hell out of people again? It was later revealed that the Chinese would be the invaders and they would be aided by the Russians later on.[9]" Aaaaand it's dead. Discuss?

Censorship Good or Bad?
Honestly? It's dumb. It should be up to the parents to decide what the kids should and shouldn't see, but here's another thing. Why is any of this stuff so bad anyway? Swearing - It's just words, using them has no real harmful affect on anyone. It's often used in bullying, but verbal abuse is verbal abuse, swearing isn't really a factor in that. Violence - The news isn't censored and some parents have their kids watch that. Schools teach about wars and gang violence. Kids know about violence, the type of violence doesnt matter as all the worst kinds are covered in school anyway. Nudity and Sex - It's the human body. What the hell is the harm in it? Clothes were invented for protection and warmth, but who at one point considered it to be a crime to not wear clothes, especially in a time where it's not necesary.

What warri0r said is pretty much on the money, though I think that vid was more for the lulz than trying to prove a point.

Paint Balling
It doesn't hurt that badly. Just wear jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt (and a sweatshirt if you're really scared) and you should be fine. I know it doesn't hurt it all if you wear layers and layers and layers of clothes, but you can't feel it at all. Would it work to wear a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and maybe a light plastic plate armor? Plate armor? What are you, from the Renaissance era? As for me, I only went one and didn't like it. I was totally bored and could find any excitement in it whatsoever. You know what I mean, like a plastic plate. I'll find a pic. Though what you pictured would look cool. Knights with machine guns. Yeeeeaaah. Edit. I mean something like this, but plastic. Convincing a friend to excercise.
Yeah, well it's kids like Josh that force school districts to take the good food from vending machines. No, its over bearing [developmentally delayed] school boards that do. And sorry to say, but schools really shouldn't have junk food in their vending machines. They also shouldn't have water for obvious reasons. ...why not water? Because from the fountains, its free. $1.25 min. for bottled water absurd. With bottled water it's not disgusting. P.S. Water at my machine is like 50 cents.

I'm sorry, people can not be this stupid...
And that makes it any better? If you were a real friend you wouldn't call him an idiot and exploit him like that, especially if you have reason to believe that he's actually mentally impaired. Oh cut the "real friend" crap. People make fun of their friends all the time. I'm well aware that friends can have a joke at each other's expense, but what dizzle posted was just ridiculous. I suppose you would be fine with being called an idiot by your friends? What if they thought you were mentally impaired and did it anyway? I suppose you'd be fine with them constantly asking asking you questions you don't know the answer too just so they can ridicule you? Sounds like a bunch of crappy friends if you ask me. Different people do different things, this is how we joke around with each other. It's not like we're all just making fun of him, we all take our share of abuse from eachother. It's all in good fun, I just thought his was the funniest.

Things you're afraid of.
It was just a vague referrence. Little Boy was the name of the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
