Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I hate when I'm looking for something, forget what I'm looking for halfway through, and keep looking and get mad that I can't find what I don't know I'm looking for.

Similarly, stepping out of a hot shower and back into cold reality. Similarly still, the process of drying off after a shower.

The Walking Dead
I LOVED the start, how the most tense scene was almost entirely without combat, and there were bits and pieces of juiciness throughout, but yeah, there were a few too many slow moments and an ungodly number of commercials. Not as nearly good as the first season premier, which was consistently interesting throughout, but this was definitely good too.

Apparently he was at least wounded.

Saw the vid. Assuming it's real, I'm annoyed. While he definitely should have been executed, this was completely barbaric, unless he was already dead (hard to tell). I think that a person should ALWAYS stand trial, if at all possible. Imagine if we had video of a bin Laden trial, actually getting to hear what he had to say. They wouldn't stand a chance in hell, of course, but for the historical record it would be worth it.

-People who fail to cover their mouth when they sneeze/cough. -Everything I've ever said on here, for good measure. -When I try to type an apostrophe in a chat window and hit enter instead, sending an incomplete message. -"Answer in complete sentences." Why? Why do I need to take 10 times longer to answer a simple question in a way that adds nothing to the answer?

On the bright side, he did nearly a full 7 times better than his average.

People that are unable to understand the concept of consequences. Perfect example today. Teacher: Did we finish The Apprentice? (we watch the show on Fridays) A few idiot students (my correction went unheard, I have a really quiet voice) - No, show the last 20 minutes. (lie) Teacher: Liars, now we're not watching it. Idiot students: THAT'S NOT FAIR!!! :wall: Though this is still better than most teachers, who never seem to lay down the law no matter how much mistreatment they get. On a related note, when I have to pay because someone else was a jackass.

To take it a step further, you HAVE to click again, or else it will stay that way and it looks irritating.

Tradtional and Gaming art
I would love for games to be made that are absolutely photorealistic, violence has never been an issue for me and I would love to have at least one game that is based around completely realistic gore. But as was pointed out earlier, there is also a big place for games like TF2 and the Mario games. In my opinion, it depends on the general mood the game is going for.

Pistol is definitely way overpowered. I didn't like how the DMR functions now, but I think it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Steve Jobs - Apple Co-Founder Dead
I'd have to agree with rocco here. I may not be a huge fan of Capitalism, but the fact is that Steve Jobs made a product that people liked, charged a price they were willing to pay for it, and the products were all LUXURIES. It's not like he was holding water ransom for $30 a bottle, for things like this, if you dislike the product or the price, you just don't buy it. Think of it this way. You say he repackaged the MP3 player. Probably true, but in a market driven by competition, people preferred HIS ripoff to the original or any of the other ripoffs and were willing to pay for his over the others. Nothing devious about it, it's exactly how our economy is supposed to work.

United States and Seven Other Countries Sign ACTA
The only thing that is actually effective (unless you really, really care a lot) is immersion. There is no better way to learn most languages. Most effective by far, but usually impractical if you're not dead set on it. I'm learning Russian as a hobby (the right word to use here?), and I've learned a decent amount just by keeping a folder of printed sheets. ...also because I never got my pirated Rosetta Stone to work.
