  1. It's a pretty even tie between Runecrafting and Mining. Those aren't exactly common, and less common means either harder to get or less interest in getting them...I just find those two impressive.
  2. Barbarians should just be called Man or Woman. Seems offensive, yes? :
  3. My opinion? I don't care. I think they should just follow my strategy of when I was a new player. Stay low until you have some respectable skills and use that to make some friends. I never liked asking for help, in reality or in the game....
  4. Do bankers count as items? Because I'd like to have private ones stationed wherever I choose. I can get the items myself.
  5. ...31 prayer. I never use it much as I never fight anything where I'd need it, so I just bought the bones to get me enough for the Monestary.
  6. I've always wanted a Halloween mask, but I'm not sure which color...so one of those for sure. Then of course there's all the easy levels you could get with them. I'd probably buy my way through Smithing and Prayer, then just save the rest, if there was any.
  7. Through my assorted skills. I'll have random times where I'll decide that I'll mine 1000 gold ore and have a load of money. Then I give up a tenth through and make just a little money. It adds up, really. Then there's runecrafting, which is very profitable if you're good enough at it.
  8. I'd be ticked. My most expensive item is my Rune Full Helm, gold. I got that at the last Tip.it party before the trade limit, so I'd be more ticked about losing that part of it than just the money. I can get the money back, but chances are slim I'd get that exact helm back again.
  9. I haven't really lost that much, so I only have the two years back when I had just started. My prized possession was my rune hatchet, and I was level 17 or so. I was in the Wilderness, and someone, level 18, convinced me that we should team up and kill people. She said to attack her, so I did. We go further in the wilderness, she kills me, I lose 20k worth of rune hatchet. I was mad about that...so...20k is the answer...
  10. Despite the fact that there is no way for a new one to come into the game without some sort of hack or bug or glitch, they are overpriced, as they don't serve any useful purpose other than a status symbol. Just a way to say that you were around when they were first out, was lucky enough to get one before the trade update for cheap/free, or you're loaded.
  11. I'm Advantageous towards these capes, even though I'm F2P. It seems to me that people are only thinking skillcapes are bad if they're in a buyable skill, that truly doesn't take much effort from you at all, such as Firemaking, Cooking, or Smithing. But think of others. Like Woodcutting. You, yourself, have to walk over to that tree, with your hatchet, and chop it down. You can't pay someone else to do it and get the experience from it. It doesn't work that way. It requires at least some effort on your part. This also applies to Fishing, Mining, and in my opinion, Runecrafting. You have to go yourself to that fishing spot, and even if you just stand there chatting or whatever, you still had to go over there to get your experience, you didn't pay someone else to get it for you. In Runecrafting, even though you can and likely will at some point buy the essence, you can't just sit at the exchange crafting those runes. You have to walk over to the altar and make them. So, Skillcapes. Sometimes it seems like it can be earned. Other times they can just be bought. Skillcapes give people something to shoot for. It might even be a reason why they get membership. JaGeX isn't run by idiots, they know what they're doing, and they know how to get more people to sign up for the full game.
  12. Honestly, I think it's funny that people get so worked up about it. If someone is a higher combat level than I am, why would I stand in the center and let them kill me? It's better to run and hide, you'll stay alive longer, and most likely get more charges in the process, allowing you to win, which is the point of all minigames, isn't it?
  13. I gotta agree, Firemaking does seem somewhat useless. A lot of people who train firemaking train it by lighting a bunch of fires. They get the logs by buying them. The fires just burn out, without serving a useful purpose. So...it's just a skill. So, it shouldn't be eliminated. Robertr1 made a good point, and I pretty much agree with it.
  14. There is a certain group of players that drive me nuts. They only happen in Fist of Guthix, at least, for me. What happens is, I'll get matched up with a mid level player who decides they want to train magic in Fist of Guthix. More power to them. I want charges to win. So, if they come after me, and I realize they have a higher combat level and magic level, what is the reasonable thing to do? Would you stand there and let them kill you? Or would you avoid them? I choose to avoid them, usually, and it gets me branded as many things. A noob, a moron, and other things involving our friend the asterisk. They'll define me as an asterisk etc noob runner. Often. Sometimes they won't even stop there. They'll meet me in the lobby, after I usually win or they forfeit, and insist that I am a noob, over and over again. Just today, someone took it further. They wanted to duel me to prove they were better. It was a friendly, no food match. I clicked attack and just watched the screen. I won, even though he had a higher combat level, only seven levels more than mine, which he lorded over me and claimed he was superior. That's what drives me nuts.
  15. Basically, help if you want to, but don't be compelled to do it. I'm the person who wouldn't give anything to someone who at least had the potential to get things done. Now, a newbie, fresh into the game, they're the people who actually could use some real help. Making them some basic armor or just helping them out is nice but not needed.
  16. It's a good idea, but only for one person. You. You meaning yourself. Everyone's self. Sure, you'd get more experience out of the deal, and in a faster way too. But, like everyone has been saying, it would cause too much trouble everywhere else. Too much ore would be pumped into the market. It'd wreck the economy, in a way.
  17. It's a good idea, but would it really work? The only thing that would work is a shop for the animations, you know, to make the people earn what they want. Don't just give it to them. It gives an incentive.
  18. I would save it. I don't but very many things, most of it I smith, craft, etc myself. So it would continue to sit in my bank, gradually building up.
  19. World 35, always have had that and always will. Mostly because its the first world I went on when I knew what I was doing, plus all my friends hang out there too.
  20. Well, this might cause high leveled P2P clans to go to Bounty Hunter on a F2P world. Even the highest of the high and most powerful F2P clan, dressed in the best armor and weapons, probably wouldn't stand too huge a chance against the level 138s. Other than that, it probably wouldn't affect F2P clans much at all.
  21. My 0.1 Blackmarks weren't removed, man. It was only for a joke that got off wrong, but still, I had hoped I could get back to 0 of them, oh well!
  22. Personally, I can't say. Seeing as how I'm f2p and all, but if I could do Summoning, I'd love a dog. It sounds awesome.
  23. I'd like to know what noob reports people for jokes, seriously, this happened. It was in a Clan Chat. Person: Hey look, A player mod. Let's spam him like this a;sdlkfjas;dlfkjas;dlkfj Person: Jk lol Later he came on and said he was reported for encouraging others to break rules, and it was accepted.... :notalk:
  24. Dude, that's just your opinion. Sure, you think PKing was teh best and teh best ting ever and it will rule 4ever yah! Right now, PKing isn't here as you knew it. Just...learn to deal with it. This thread was just about wondering if Pkers ever read, and if they did, why be upset when their riots worked? All right. I'll give up skilling for 6 months. Won't do anything but combat. Nothing at all. I'll keep that promise unless you were joking. Also, if this happened to Skills and I said the same to you about PKing, would you do it? By the way, I could, but I really don't want to. Who would? Yeah yeah, you'll respond with PKing something. All right then, how about this? (Note: EDIT) Neither Skills Nor Pking should've been removed. I'm just saying that they were, and its coming back in some way, weather its different or not.
  25. Oh I was so excited when I was just hanging out, and then in the corner, the little System Update thing. My friends and I were going nuts, we had a feeling it'd be Summoning. Well, it's out, its P2P, the end of story.
