  1. I've fallen victim to claws many times, but I actually think they are fine. Looking at them overall, sure the spec is good, and it really is the victim's fault if they get killed (it's really easy to watch your back, only times I've ever died was when I wasn't paying attention), but after that, it's absolute trash. Combined with the high price, it seems fine to me. Other weapons have powerful specials (AGS) and are a great weapon afterwards.
  2. That happened to me like three times. :(
  3. Maybe. The hat never fails.
  4. Even if you feel you won't get in, it never hurts to apply. Good luck
  5. I held off due to lack of participation, I'd be happy to extend Round 1 if others want to participate :) I'll post results/answers in a few days no matter what happens.
  6. Hey! Quest trees have been suggested many times, and while it's a great idea in concept, actually creating and viewing such a tree would be quite difficult. For instance, a mini-tree for While Guthix Sleeps would look something like this: [hide=WGS Tree][/hide] To create a tree with all 150+ quests would not only be time consuming but also hard to interpret (the resulting tree would be inevitably messy). For this reason we have added a useful feature to all quest guides labeled "advancement", which tells you what the quest is a requirement for. I hope this is of help to you. I'll leave this open for comments. :) ~WMX
  7. You should post this on RSOF despite the low chance it'll have any effect. :( Thanks for posting this.
  8. Ah, yeah, of course :P I should rephrase What I meant was is RuneScape combat is basically, click attack, and wait to see who takes what damage, click to eat, wait again, unlike other styles of games (FPS, some other role playing games) which have aim/crosshair functions, dodging, etc. (combat is more dependent on you). Something like Corp's non homing attack was an example of skill, I guess.
  9. Relative to other bosses, he's very difficult, but overall he isn't hard (RS doesn't allow a lot of skilled fights because its basically clicking). It just takes a lot of focus, and brews
  10. The cape is a fabulous reward, totally appropriate and well balanced for the difficulty of the quest. Also, I noticed that the bomb attack does absolutely nothing if you don't move, wonder if that's intentional or a bug... Great update in my opinion, although I wish the quest had a little more plot depth. Hope to see more bosses like this in the future, or even these types of dynamics applied to normal monsters. And to all the ranters, honestly, for the time, skill, and money spent, the reward is pretty fair.
  11. Thanks so much! We've added this information to the guide, with both of you credited.
  12. As DaDieselDude05 said, these helpful tips are already included in the guide. Thanks though Xecer!
  13. The image has been replaced in the guide , changes should take effect soon. Thanks so much Racheya! :)
  14. It could be loading the wrong image files (i.e. jagex messed up the file names/coding like that). Looks like the loading image along with a tree leaves texture, but the icons are correctly aligned. Never experienced it myself. I don't really know how it works. Cool find. Sorry I can't help you fix it :(
  15. Locked on request. :)
  16. Since your question has been answered I am locking this thread. In the future, try asking questions in the Help & Advice. You'll get a quicker response there. Thanks! :)
  17. Many monsters have flaws in them that have remained unchanged for many years, so we'll wait for Jagex to decide. I've added it to the guide, as it is a great tip, and if Jagex changes it, we'll edit it out :) Thanks so much! You've been credited!
  18. Dark_Aura is correct, they use both styles and switch periodically. We've added some advice in the guide to reflect this, thanks!
  19. I think the most effective prayer largely depends on what armor you or your friend was wearing, and we've added some advice about this in the guide. Thanks so much for the help! You've been credited.
  20. Thanks so much, we've edited the guide with this information! Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.
  21. Thanks so much for this information. We've edited the guide after going through the final fight again, it seems you're right! You've been credited for the changes, PM me with any questions or concerns.
  22. Hey there, I've edited the KBD Guide to include Armadyl items for both the melee and range setups. Thanks to both you and Mdeoxys for helping out! PM me with any questions.
  23. This seems to work really well, wonder why this never worked out a few months ago during testing... I'll be adding melee setups for sure.
  24. Interesting, I'll try this out right now. Maybe I was extremely unlucky when I tested melee armor :|
  25. Thanks so much for helping us out ! You've been credited for this information. Crew Edit: I'm gonna go ahead and lock this, as it seems to have been resolved. :) - SerpentEye
