  1. I'm 100% sure they reduce damage dealt, which is why most people use them as a safety against rushers in PvP. I don't think they ever had the same effect as defense, although maybe they did way back when.
  2. Hey there, It seems this guide is still a work-in-progress, so I've moved it to the "Beginning Guides" forum, where users can help you out as you finish it up. Once your guide is complete we'll be happy to move it back to the "General Guides" forum. Thanks  ~Wmx

ah my bad i haven't done enough of dungeoneering to realize the term :wall: :wall: .... i feel so stupid #-o Well then there's no reason you would know :P, don't feel stupid!

No he's not talking about a hacking tool, a player gets an experience multiplier called "Level mod" at the end of every dungeon and he's wondering if it affects his base experience for a dungeon. Sadly I don't know the answer to your question though :(
  5. Spot the Glitch: Sorry if it's been mentioned already.
  6. They are all aggressive initially, and the dwogres use a magic based melee attack. Wear d'hide and always have the protect from range prayer active to prevent getting cut down by the cannoneers. Bring good food, prayer potions, and a healing familiar. You will be taking most of the damage from melee attacks. Using a cannon is up to you, I've found it attracts more monsters and uses up your food faster.
  7. Cool idea. I hope it goes well, maybe I'll enter.
  8. Yeah dzi, I do think that our forums overstate the amount of soloing/rare drops since a number of our users are a part of this elite minority. Also all these advantages apply to teams as well as solo players, so the effects should balance out I think.
  9. If anyone is bored while skilling, read his blog, it's fascinating. Evony has so many shady ties to China along with being owned by a falsely named company based in the Marshall Islands, where they are exempt from common business restrictions. Seriously awesome findings.
  10. I've been waiting for Evony to get hit for so long, their advertising is the biggest joke ever, quite honestly. Reading the emails and transcripts from Bruce's blog makes me happy we're not alone. I hope the case can somehow continue into an investigation of the company itself, which just seems downright shady. The guy lied about his business degrees? Anything else he wants to admit? Go Bruce! To be honest I think they're backing out before more secrets/illegal business gets uncovered.
  11. There's no quota in each world for drops, don't let RSOF fool you. There's no script that says "nope already gave them a hilt, can't give another for x hours." The roulette wheels don't change after getting a drop at all, and trust me this is 100% true.
  12. That's probably the reason why double casting was removed. They really should update magic more. Like make a spell that hits in the 500s and doesn't "fail" often, and add more effective weakening spells (20% ftw?). (Not directed at you) The consensus that double casting was "bug abuse" is really bothering me. Desert Treasure was released years ago, and it revolutionized magic PvP. The rushing tactic has been used forever, and I fail to see, honestly, how it's overpowered/unfair abuse at all. I had always thought slow and instant spells were intentional to allow for new tactics. But we can't change what has happened, I do hope indeed they come out with new powerful spells.
  13. Yeah, being next to Pyramid Plunder is just where the developers put the cutscene area, and is not meant to represent where it is located in the perceived world. We have no idea where it is "supposed" to be.
  14. *bows* Thank you. Wow can't believe it's been a year already.
  15. Wow, awesome accomplishment, congrats Krampell! :)
  16. This is sort of unsettling, Lower Merion is 3 miles from my house, and it was one of the schools I was deciding between, glad I chose otherwise.
  17. Is that somewhere in the agreement paper students sign when buying the laptop? That's just ridiculous, a major invasion of privacy. Like it says, I leave my laptop open on so many occasions.
  18. Unclear wording, are you saying that they confirmed that curses were... 1) Are melee based, revolve around melee (which we can tell since magic/range doesn't have a turmoil equivalent) or 2) Were *intended* to revolve around melee? If 2), I'm disappointed at Jagex.
  19. Could you post a picture confirming this? It would be greatly appreciated.

Basically this except you can't use Barrows gloves with the void set. Alternatives are bandos, or black dragonhide.
  21. I thought it was the Entrana church cutscene area at first. But if you've seen another angle of it and you're sure. :P Now that I look at it again, you could be right, only one way to find out, I'll explore it with the Orb. :)
  22. Brilliant find! The Church is from a discontinued random event (Candlestick Pete), the same church that I found next to Blast Furnace. The first image is from Temple Trekking. That connects about 7 different areas together! :o
  23. I always love reading a well-written suggestion with well-made images. Great idea, totally support! Also looks like you're very experienced with the RSOF suggestion forums with all the explanations in the introduction :P
