Regarding Misdrievus Vakan, I just compared the Vyrelords and Vyreladies and I can safely say he is a male character. The females wear different kinds of clothing than the males. With the puzzles, unless pictures of those solutions are submitted I can't replace them. Thanks again! ~Wmx

Hey, Thanks for this suggestion, I agree a section on soloing would be useful. I'm actually in the process of renovating a lot of the older monster hunting guides (see the recent Corporeal Beast rewrite, for example) and the CE guide is definitely on my list. It has not been abandoned, it has just been put on hold while I work on renovating the site's monster hunting guides, which are out of date and, in my opinion, need updates more urgently than the dungeoneering guide. In addition, I will need to spend a good deal of time researching with professional teams to make sure any updates are accurate and helpful. Thank you for your concern.

The Corporeal Beast guide rewrite was actually on my task list for several months before your submission was posted and I legitimately did not see this topic when I was doing my research. The stunning and melee prayer strategies were commonplace in my teams, and, confident in my experience, I developed the content without consulting Website Updates & Corrections. I would also see a large amount of endgame interested players wanting efficient bots so they could bot less and get to that high level point sooner. If they are botting, their account is closed to them for whatever amount of time to train other things. Personally I would want that that time as short as possible. Not_trolling basically beat me to this post. Just offering that perspective. I'm sure you are correct that many players have that mentality. I'm just sad that people would pay money for, in my opinion, a bad method for training. In the 513 hours that guy spent...he could have had that DG exp in a fraction of the time, having that many left over hours to enjoy the benefits as a legit player.

Well two-tick cooking was fun while it lasted. Why was that necessary at all?

I think Rocked meant botting dungeoneering "successfully" i.e. getting good exp per hour with average time of 20 minutes/floor in a 5-man team. A bot that does c6 solos/cooks food/makes armor sounds like terrible exp/hr. I'd be interested to know how long those 110+ people have had their bot running. It sounds like if anybody were to check their daily play times, they would far surpass a realistic human number. If that basic evidence hasn't been noticed I am very sad.

Sometimes they teleport inside like that when someone attacks them nearby (wandering near the observatory probably) and they get stuck. :P [spoiler=Unspam: From the same guy as the other 500m win.]

In my tests the defense of the arcane/virtus was sufficient. While the Divine/Elysian effect would help in reducing damage to yourself slightly, the healing of the blood barrage guaranteed by higher magic accuracy to me was overall more beneficial. So I recommended the Arcane as it was cheaper with a stronger benefit, in my opinion. The next spirit shield (blessed spirit shield) listed in the setup order assumes that you can't afford anything higher in price than arcane, which is why Elysian and Divine aren't listed. I generally recommend the SoL over the Chaotic Staff as I see the rune saving and melee defense special attack as overall better than +1 accuracy and +5% damage, although this is a matter of opinion. The only attack on the battlefield that hits over 200 is the ranged cannon attack which is protected against, so I did not factor in soaking to the gear choices. The cannoneer melee relatively weak compared to their cannon shot, but still dangerous without decent defense, especially with the dwogre attacks added on top. Usually when I write setups I think about maximizing both kill speed and camping time. Familiar would be useful. That was supposed to be in that setup actually just like the first one. A ranging method would be much less effective seeing as chinchompas hit much less than the hits I was dealing with magic (400+) and do not provide healing. Even though a ranging armor setup would provide more melee defense than mage robes, with the cannon drawing attention to you from every single NPC there, healing is pretty important (especially if you have a lower defense level). However a single slaying dwogre ranging method could work, although not as well as the rapier setup. Auras were not mentioned because I originally figured the user can't really change what auras he or she has when reading the guide, and if you were camping here they would lose importance relatively quickly into the trip, however it doesn't hurt to mention the useful ones, I will add them. I'm completely open to other perspectives on these things and the guide should have the best/most accurate information possible, so discussion is welcomed. :) Thanks a lot for your feedback! :thumbup:
