If you perfer smithing then by far the best thing to do is to collect coal though kingdom. Then, mine your own iron and make steel. Afterwards, you can sell steel bars for big profit OR you can make them into cannon bars for even more exp and an even bigger profit. Also, if you perfer crafting, green and blue dhides, if purchased at the right price can yield insaine incomes.

This seems logical, especialy when you consider other rewards. You die, you leave behind a gravestone and no items - another way to stop RWT. Alternate rewards for pkers - something like kill 1000 players and you get something useless that showed you kill 1000 players. You never know with these things, but I certainly hope they dont take out the item losing aspect of this game.

Well, think of it from THEIR point of view. How many people quit and cancel membership when they die and lose everything? So, instead, they copy World of Warcraft and Vanguard. You die, you come back to your corpse and you get your stuff, whoala. Ofcourse, the element of danger is what made runescape so unique and appealing and in their attempt to stop RWT they will cause even more damage to the game, but hey, maybe thats not the case.

how in any way shape or form can you say they are changing how the wilderness works? Ok ravestones added to death piles, but won't change the killing. And a new boss monster probably along the lines of CE, whats the problem? Ok, either I phrased what I said incorrectly or you didnt read what I said and are just responding. I said that they are updating the wilderness in an attempt to make it appealing to stakers. I dont care personally how they change it sinse I dont visit it. Where in my post did I say that they are changing how the willderness works?

It is infact, how many have predicted. In an attempt to please the masses over their brutal and unneeded changes to staking they are updating wilderness. Seing how I dont pk or stake it makes no difference to me, but it is rather funny how players are being, for the lack of the better word, "forced" into certain playstyles.

I spent a bit of time thinking about ways of utilizing GE. So far, I have came up with the following. Willows: dont bother, cant sell, price may be dropping even more Maples: dont bother, cant sell, price may be dropping even more Coal: dont bother, cant sell, price may be dropping even more Sharks: dont bother, cant sell, price may be dropping even more Natures: dont bother, cant sell, price may be dropping even more As for selling for profit, buying on GE to resell is out of question. Also, no potion is worth buying on GE and no potion sells on GE, with few exceptions. Here is some of the ideas of what you can do on ge that works. Buy ranarr seeds from people for 15k each and sell on GE for lowest price. Few days ago they were 24k each. This other idea requires being able to make sanfew serum. Buy snapdragon cheap (2-3k each), buy nail beast nails on GE, they are 200-300 each, collect your own unicorn horns and snake weed. Make the sanfew serum and sell those for medium price on GE. Super restore and prayer potions do not sell, however, sanfew serum sells instantly. I will be looking for more ways of utilizing GE and ill post ideas and progress. +1. There is more to direct trading than simple buying and selling. People helpiing each other, friends helping friends. Giving someone food or anti when they come to training spot and have been poisoned ont he way. Removing direct trade is dientical to shutting down runescape. It wont happen. edit: Just thought about it. What they can do is take away $ in trades, but then RWT's will just sell stuff like magics, etc... Hell, if timed right, people can even sell through GE

Someone whispered me in game saying that say saw me in a video. First they told me it was on youtube, then they finally said it was on filefront. At this point I was positive that it was a keylogger, but I played a long. Finally, he gave me a website link, and ofcourse it was an [Caution: Executable File] file. When I told him I knew what he was up to he then started bragging how many people he hacks this and that. Just watch out when going to download anything off of the internet. I strongly encourate to never download any [Caution: Executable File] files that were linked to you by a friend in runescape. This video scam has been around for a while apparently, I asked friends and they told me people have tried with them as well. Just be careful :)

Duuuuude! And you would get logged out for inactivity. That's what I mean, ordinary things people now take for granted was 10x harder before. Back on topic, I saw people trying to buy santas for 11 mil but no one was selling. People are madly trying to snatch up ultra-cheap rares but no one is selling for 50% the price before the duel update. Hey, and I resent the word "obssessed" just because people think about the market doesn't mean they spend every waking moment on it. LoL, I was logged for innactivity more than once during these big trades and sometimes people would change their mind because they didnt want to go through adding all that gold again! What greed? If someone has 1,000,000,000 gp in the game completely legitimately, is that greed? So people who use/sell/buy/own rares are playing the greed-oriented aspect of the game? Most of the kills in RS is all about the accumulation of items like gp, logs, ores, runes, armor, weapons, etc. Not exactly. 10 mil back then was worth much more than it was now. You can't compare it to today when everything is so much easier and there is no overcrowding or lack of training/gathering spots. Not at all. A person playing nowadays has it very, very easy compared to what older players have been through. You can't really appreciate this fact unless you were high level in RS1. Fletching, for example, was a money-losing skill if you bought the materials and there was no fletch x. Remember when trading was by 12s and there were no bank notes? :P If you were wealthy when phats were cheap then it wasn't easy to be wealthy back then. I've sold a total of 3 santa hats in my whole RS playing. Sorry if I was greedy to get 30m gps. Even though it took that much to level to 115 (99 str and att, 95 hp) in RS1 4 years ago. I haven't even mentioned my other skills. Bank notes? LoL! I played when there was no banks period! Althoguh sadly I didnt catch on about rares till wayyyyyyy later. Remember when there was no offer-x for money, I do! You had to stay in trade for like 15 mins to get a mil. And abck then that mil was worth a lot, not like it is today. The screen shot where I show mys tuff in trade prior to quitting 3 years ago was my merhcanting accomplishment back then. Now I use it to have fun, train skills, and enjoy the game with friends. If I am greedy to worry about my achievement then I am greedy.

What you are refering toas communism was in fact socialism (a totalitarian state, rather than a class-less state). True Marxist communism has never actually existed. Who would be forced to quit? and why would they be forced to quit? If anyone quits over this, they make a choice to leave, it's not a forced action. Yep. As I clearly said in my previous post, I don't believe they should just take them out. They should provide compensation of some sort. Some people will still quit, though, because they have too much of themselves tied up in these items. Unfortunate, but that's one of the reasons why they need to go. Sorry, but who are you to judge who deserevs to go and who doesnt based on your incorrect assumption? Sinse when is runescape about discrimination? You talk about being tied up in something - you yourself are tied up in serious rare hate and are condemning people over it. Jagex needs to be and let be and find real solutiosn to problems as opposed to dscrimination.
