berbatovsky, heres a good NONE BIASED point. Countless people are quitting. Merchants, Stakers, PKers a side, even more people are quitting over the trade change. They are not as vocal as PKers, but there is more of them. This clown is gloating over all these people quitting thinking he somehow achieved a personal victory. Ironic, seing how he was one day writing false previous about GE, next day whining on RSoF about how price contorl is bad, and now siding with Jagex pretty much in a sense that bad players are going to be gone, completely neglecting all the good people that are quitting. How is that point for you?

Who would possibly be jealous of you? More stereotyping, generalising, blame throwing and being self righteous. Who are you to judge who should be here or not? Why do you think after all your posts nobody ever offered you to be a mod, pmod, forum mod, any mod? Its obvious how biased you are, stereotyping and condeming ABSOLUTELY EVEYRTHING. Before you make a [developmentally delayed]ed remark about me quitting, I already canceled and im quitting, but before I quit ill throw osme more effort into showing everyone just what kind of piece of trash you really are. As for you being 50, you clearly posted that you finished some ofrm of economical nonsense in 70's - 80's so unless you did that when you were 5 or unless you lied, you would be over 50. A grown man that takes the game too serious and preaches to everyone about being good and lceaning the bad, while himself being no better than the people he condemns. Only difference is myself or sly dont bribe few friends to defend us on forums. Yes, thats true, for those that dont know, qeltar asks people to defend him in threads to make himself look better, he does that on RSoF as well. So do I. There is so may mechanisms in place to stop people from being scammed, so why do people get scammed? Because most of htem look for ways to profit quickly w/o putting any effort into it and get scammed by others who are doing same thing. Also, to prove just how full of [cabbage] you are, when you use the word EVERY why dont you offer solid proof to him complaining about every update as of 2004 when he joined? More of your hypocritical [cabbage] People learn from their mistakes, not everyone has to wear a special helmet like you. If someone is too stupid they will learn from their mistakes, or wear helmet rest of their life. Enjoy your singleplayer clickscape. Yup, runescape is not PK, Stake, Merchant free. Now only hard working skillers such as yourself will be able to exist and flourish in the game, while most of the talented players who made runescape what it was will now move on to other games. Look on brightside, your site on which you ask your supporters to defend you in threads will now become more popular with the new crwod of braindead clueless zombies that are protected from everything.

Dont worry, OP feels same way about merchants, stakers, and anyone who dindt get where they are by spending countless hours clicking like he did. A good way fo describing the OP would be a self pompous, self righteous clown, but then again most people already call him that to his face or behind his back so its nothing new. I actualy tried to be the better man, despite our differences I sent him a PM saying best of luck, you win, runescape will be like you want im quitting, to which he proceeded to respond with further insults and expressiong joy over me quitting. For someone who is past his 50's I have to say the OP isnt very intelligent and certainly not the white caring high moral figure he proclaims himself to be. All it takes is to read one of his posts where he condemns everyone and everything he does not see worthy in his eyes. Somebody who is truely pure and good would never do that. Everyone else who claim to enjoy his reads, look into meilis post and find it in yourself to laugh at yourself :)

Your reasons are pretty much identical to mine for quitting. Very nice post. Trading is probably single biggest interaction for me in this game. Friends trading me stuff for the skills im training, me giving friends pots, sharks, etc, for their combat related adventures. It wasnt trading to be exact, it was giving things to people that were close to you, people who you could trust and people that could trust you. On top of that I am a skiller and I like to buy things to level my skills and make profit, but that will no longer be possible because jagex decided to tell me what I have to pay for items as opposed to me learning prices of eveyrthing all the time in order to get financial advantage and stay ahead.

Macmaster92, then im glad you got what you wanted. Figured by now people would stop being jealous over the wealth stakers had, but guess not. Jealousy led to rejoicing when updates started coming in, rejoicing was a good sign for jagex, so you got what you deserved. Took me 5 minutes of vanguards BREATH taking graphics to realise I am being upset over nothing. Granted, I will never find another game that will be as intresting as runescape when it comes to skilling / merchanting to support that skilling, but what can you do? When a company tells you it doesnt want your 5$ anymore by destroying everything you enjoy you have to move on and it is what I am doing. Enjoy your singleplayer clickscape eh?

YOU are a pure. You are a pure WCer, or maybe a macroer? I mean who is to say you didnt macro to 99, I hate you!, do you hate yourself? See where I am going with this? You like to WC so you WC, those people like to gamble so they gamble. Most lost everything, some won everything, thats life. I probably wont be posting here much longer due to the fact that im quitting unless this change is removed, but I do have a few things I want to add on this matter. To the OP: Perhaps you are better off in a single player game. The very same attitude displayed by countless people here and RSoF, if it does not hurt them they dont care and in fact even post about it to further hurt those who are already upset and quitting. Sure, you personally enjoyt he update, but what about families who played together and helped each other? Ill give it example from personal experience. I happen to be good at making $ in this game, very good in fact, and all that $ I made I somehow used to help my friends, little things here or there, big things once in a while. Now, I can not even give my friend a p potion come January. Obviously, if you have no friends, or dont want to interact with anybody, this doesnt concern you, but all those people ranting and quitting have every right to do so. They took away any possible way of getting ahead in this game though the use of combat skill or understanding of prices and intelligence. They might as well rename this to ClickScape, because now its lal about who can click more without getting bored. You dont need to know what something is worth, Jagex will set price for you. You are playing a single player game that is somehow linked to a chatroom. The full impact of this trade will become more and more evident. Believe it or not, as bad as those botters were, they kept the price of a lot of raw goods reasonable. Now what do you have? Cheap raw goods gone Merchants gone Stakers gone PK's gone Sure, bots gone is a good thing, but the impact of this change will affect everyone no matter how hard headed they are about this. Any game that betrays its vereran players, its top of the top screws itself.

Yes, I believe its 15$ a month, and you need a reall good PC, but the graphics are breath taking and the game is fun. My other thread got deleted so I wouldnt be surprised, its evil to advertise other games when your favourite game has been ruined!

Hey all, I was just thinking, I quit playing vanguard because there wasnt enough people that I knew playing to group with. I wonna try playing it again and I was wondering if anybody else who is quitting RS is looking for a new game, would you be intrested in playing vanguard? Few things to know about vanguard, you have to have an extremely good PC or it and its a very big and complex game, a lot of fun :) Post here if intrested :)

Yeh I liked it when you felt you were part of the community. Now the community is too big you seem so insignifcant compared to it. Oh and by the way just because you don't find someone famous doesn't mean they're not. Your opinion doesn't define who is famous. I have had level 126's accuse me of buying my $ and im not even gonna mention how many others. Hell, even some people on these boards have commented that I should stop buying gold and ruining this game. Ive come to realise that most people get so crazy with jealousy that they lose control and random nonsense starts making its way out of of their heads, which they primarely use to shovel food into and hardly ever for rational thought.

Dont know about a year ago, but before I originaly quit things sure were different. Faldor park world 2 was a place where those who played for financial reasons gathered and would sell each other their coveted party hats. Everyone knew each other, people were friendly with each other and all in all it was fun. One of the biggest reasons I couldnt get back into rare merchanting was because of how things have changed, too many ignorant people who think they know it all, who rush to insult you or call you noob if you refuse to pay them 1k per law rune. Lately ive been getting increasingly more frustarted trying to buy dragon hides. I advertise one thing, and people will send me 10 trade requests just to offer to sell me their rune boots. Too many beggars, too many people who cant read and only know 3 or 4 words, 2 of them being nub and noob.

Herbs are anything but low in price. Although for anyone who cared to level it, herblore was never a hard skill, considering that 9 out of 10 people will sell their high end herbs for 1k each. Seconds was a big problem however, iuf you were doign it the smart and quick way of ubying everything, making pots, then selling those for lowest price to get your money back. GE made certain skills more troublesome. Herb price to potion price ratio is just plain whack, there was a big debate about that on RSOF forums and some herblaists are even trying to rally everyone to stop selling potions. Dragonhides are also insainely expensive right now in comparison. Granted eventualy things might settle down. One of the reasons prices are dropping though is because some of the prices were way too high, while others prices are being greatly influenced by the botters. I have had my willows on GE sinse day 1, they are still up there at lowest price without any chance of ever selling.

HeHe wow those good old times, so much fun. I remember when dragon spear first came out my girl traded my spear for yellow party hat, which is a really unbalanced trade. To this day I dont know how she pulled it off. Plus many other good memories, like I started showing people all the stuff that is in my trade screen screenshot (link in my signature) I had an army of people following me lol. It seems that back then everyoen was so much closer bonded and there was so few ignorant people unlike today :(

sseli, the responses people get are the ones they deserve in my opinion. Opening your response with a threat of tearing it to shreads is not how an intellgient conversations tarts. Also, being able to spell in a langauge that is not native to you has absolutely nothing with being an intelligent person, thank youf or trying however. And bottom line is I was right that prices will go down ebcuase of oversupply and people trying to udnercut, which are 2 of the main reasons, not counting the mass histeria and botters unloading. True, some items go up after the histeria is over, rares for example, but hey, we cant know everything.

Also, please before writing a huge response which I dont intened to read because of your oepning statement (intelligence much for the win) read the date of the original post and see that this article was written PRIOR to release of GE as a theory as to what will happen. The reason for my bumping it now is because I want to show that I Was absolutely right about the price decrease without falsely calling my artcile a preview. Seing how you are NOT a skiller and I highly dobut that you are a merchant, although feel free to prove me wrong, please give me some credentials prior to writing up something this big which attempts to "shred" my article a part.
