Uh.. that doesn't prove jack squat, actually, even if it's true (which I doubt). Considering that he's a thief, if all they did was ask him then he got off easy. Jagex allow you to download the Client that forms both RS and RS2 without stopping you. Yes, so? They allow you to download it and use it according to the terms of service you agree to when you sign up. They sure as hell do NOT allow you to download it to set up competing servers and charge for them. Riiiiiight. And how many users did he have? Did you ever consider that he didn't have much of a bot problem because nobody really gave a damn about his little server except for a small circle of people? He had about 10,000 unique players that where "members" not to mension the free accounts, this was all within 1 month with no advertising remember, oh, it was that good, even Jagex members themselves played it.

I think I've read somewhere that Jagex still have at least five years of content planned. : Of course they'll say that publicly, they won't say "only 2 years" because then people won't play lol, what they say is just business, not reality.

Jagex also retains the COPYRIGHT to all Jagex products. As far as I know the minimum COPYRIGHT length is 50 years. Either way, he proved single handedly that RSC can still function without autoers, even if you open it to the public, he deleted all macroers within 24 hours, and thats better than Jagex did, and he's only one man.

What would you consider a dead game though? Your merely stabbing in the dark here, since Jagex have stated that for the next 5 years Runescape will still be their major operation. So you're implying that in 2 years they will lose millions of players, how do you predict this going about, assuming a dead game is no players in January 2009. RSC has about 5k players and its been a closed game for almost 4 years already. That's cos RSC has better gameplay, and it's been proven by "private servers" that RSC is more popular than RS2, even now, Reines made almost ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã50,000 (almost $100,000) in 1 month of opening a RSC server, Jagex asked for him to shut it down. That was without advertising as well.

I don't think the author can read, he thinks "jan" is spelled "22/1". Well it does look like a 22 with a slash (/) and a seven in the end. Even though it really says "jan" Honestly, it looks fook all like a 22 with a /. (used your name, hope you don't mind). I can tell you this for a fact: It's more fun to actually train than it is to power-level and get higher levels, you won't get as bored as this with any other skill that's already available.

The colour of the Skill icon will be gold/yellow like it is in the part-pictures, not white (just my opinion).

I think it was done to test the hiscores, if you take carful note, the ones listed on the Hiscore where the first ones to be unable to login, and I guess they're linking every account up to the database to include a new table, aka Summoning. Fair enough, but wouldn't they be ble to hide the tests from the public? Yeah, but Jagex did say they would "leak" some information over the next coming weeks/days, didn't they...

Honestly, I think they're just creating a new table for them to link Summoning to the Hiscore table.

Jagex removed the "Summoning" Hiscore.

Not just you. :wink: All hiscores went down, even the Lite ones. So glad I got my Client updated with Hiscores before they shut it down :D Quote myself... Take a look at the Bounty Hunter hiscore signature, it reads 0 as it's been updated by the Jagex server (an index number change), as soon as they come back online it will read correctly, that's how I knew the Hiscores where updated with Summoning.

Logged out at my GF's, tried logging back in and Jagex have done me over :lol: Over 4 hours (almost 5) now...

Quest = P2P Free players can read the knowledge base, Jagex have already said the Quest isn't really a Quest, it's more of a "tutorial", except you get QPs for it.
