  1. Made me laugh :L As for the topic, as previously mentioned by others the most likely sources of this information are through player trial and error and slayer masters giving advice. It's quite interesting some of the advice they can give and I believe over the past few years it has been revamped and refined and it wouldn't surprise me if thats how people found out. If I didn't have them blocked I'd check first hand, but if you don't and you get them ask for some advice and see what the master says.
  2. One thing I would suggest adding is special recovery pots. Bringing 2-4 of these can help a lot as you will be able to spec out more of the forms. If your whole team tries this you should notice an improvement.
  3. I'll be back about 2-3pm on Monday so there will still be some time for stuff ;)
  4. I assume you are planning to solo TD's mainly? In which case the Maul would be your better choice. Rapier is quite nice at TD's I have to admit, although it is only good really when you are the only meleer in a team with at least 2 other people. As far as a pairing weapon with it, a Karil's X bow will work very well as you do not yet have access to a steel titan. If you are there long enough you will easily get the charms for 99 Summoning. TD's aside, Maul is quite nice for team bandos, sara, zammy and nex, if you're interested in other areas of MH cash. While a lot of people will argue that rapier is better than Maul at many of the places I just mentioned they are probably taking into account extremes, less than good gear and possibly not turmoil. I can see you have access Overload's but not turmoil, turmoil being a rapier's greatest strength, so in conclusion I'd recommend the maul ;)
  5. For the small amount of 200m I would suggest CS'ing. Depending on your team sizes, I'll assume you're thinking 4-8 man, thats only a few sigils and if in a four man team a divine will get you that straight away. If you were to LS then you run the risk of missing a handful of sigils, not getting one for ages, losing a large chunk of your lsp and then getting an Arc/Spec. Of course if you LS on your first trip you could always snipe an Ely/Div, but really the chances of that are low. Really what it comes down to is how much time you are wishing to invest there, you have said you enjoy it so maybe you would be happy to spend the extra few weeks there? In that case I'd say go with LS as you have a chance at making a lot more than the 200m in one go. If you don't wish to spend a lot of time there, or wish to have breaks (not panicking about LSP being wasted) then I would recommend CS. Hope that helps
  6. As far as bosses, it depends which floors you do on large. A few of the common occult bosses that are good to use it on include the Necrolord, Flesh spoiler and Runebound Behemoth. Aside from the necrolord the others can also be melee'd effectively, although a potted Hex with Sagg arrows and desp will easily out hit melee.
  7. Well from what I already know about dungeoneering, just because a description can be specific doesn't mean it's 100% right. Thanks for the input though :)
  8. Title says all, thanks :)
  9. After reading the first article I didn't really know what to say. For lack of a better phrase, I have no [bleep]ing clue what the OP was going on about. The article appeared to be about the advantage of training herblore on bonus experience weekend's as it is a very costly skill, and training it in this way would save a lot of money. With that in mind I read through the remainder of the article only to find that it was more a sophisticated complaint rather than an actual discussion topic. I believe that almost anyone with a sliver of common knowledge would understand that while overloads are very powerful, yes I agree with that, Jagex could not simply 'lower' their usefulness in such places as Castle, Clan and Soulwars. While the majority of people getting overloads will fall into either the category of boss hunter, or skiller there are also a lot of people that just play this game to enjoy things such as mini games and to them overloads are just as useful. While you are able to access overloads from level 90 herblore and onwards, through the maximum +6 stew, that is still a very expensive level to get to. I do understand that the vast majority of people would not be simply getting overloads to have that extra advantage in a game of Castle wars I believe that it wouldn't necessarily be the best thing to do to lower the power of overloads in these areas. Oh and the one message I did get through the whole article is that the OP is envious of people with overloads, or simply does not like them because they are not able to access them just yet. To that I say, spend the cash, get the overloads, use them and you'll understand where I'm coming from. Just my 2c
  10. Thanks very much, and yes I was referring to the barbarian pages
  11. Just wondering how many pages there actually are and if theres a way to check how many you have/ how many you are missing. Thanks
  12. While it is a good idea, and one that has been tried before, they generally are not all that successful when you try to put to much into them. While a video guide would make it much, much easier to understand the actually tactic during a kill and how to actually get there, it would be necessary to also include gear, stats etc as that is something done more easily in picture form where you do not have to pause the video to check out the gear. If you personally are looking for MH video guides then there are many hundreds out there that I would be more than happy to show you. In all a good idea, but you wouldn't want 100% of the guide in video format.
  13. Just out of curiosity, will this thread also be a place to submit any drops that have not yet been put on the tables? Because even within six or so monsters I noticed a lot of drops were missing.
  14. After today's batch of jagex doing what they do best I don't think I'll be reviving this as I will probably be quitting altogether, oh well
  15. Yeah my steel titan is doing some weird stuff now as well. When I was at TD's earlier and specced with it, it hit range, melee and mage damage at the same time. If the goal was to seriously confuse the TD it worked, but it is now really ineffective there and simply slows kills down.
  16. O nice, now you can dry out them herbs you've been growing in your hydro lab Side note, should i revive my blog? Thinking about it but idk :L
  17. For the bonus exp weekend I'll be donig construction on mahogany tables, and I was wondering if anyone knows roughly how many you can make per hour on average? I will have my dining room right next to my portal, I will be using a servant to un-note my planks. If theres anything else you can think of that will speed it up minus destroying all other rooms in my house it would be appreciated. I'm hopping it would be over 500 tables an hour at least, any ideas? Thanks
