Get mage higher so that you are more accurate.

Piety has a 25% defense boost, and also some rangers still use a dds for specing.

To the above person: That is why I normally kill a few extra monsters on slayer tasks :P. First time I have gotten a 'zerker and not died and lost it lol. Best mage trip ever, COG with charge+void mace is awesome.

Without skillcapes many materials wouldn't sell, so the problem would go the other direction.

I believe for me the MIN amount of xp per hour I gain while slaying with melee is around 35k an hour, far more for tasks like dusties, fire giants, etc, on which the slayer helm owns.

The reason it says she has 40 combat is because none of her melee stats are listed, so it is going off other combat skills. Chaelder is a good master. I used her until around 100 combat actually. Also, harpies are good. They drops lotsa alches, key halves, good bit of fire runes, and other things. Good tasks to range are lesser demons, harpies, etc. Actually, most tasks can be ranged decently.

15k an hour is reasonable, however it can be hard to find a person to loan it out to, so don't count too much on making a large amount of money off of loaning it out.

Prayer is useful, but smithing is better looking.

Really alot of Pkin is learned, very little can be taught from a guide. A decent way to learn is to fight friends in the Duel Arena, with food, just like a real PK match. Yes you lose money, but not as much as dying with a full outfit.

TBH I doubt very much anything will be done. Jagex already stated that there is nothing illegal/wrong with the 26k trick, and you are still taking a risk (if you get rushed) plus spending time. Granted the money is almost always better than some other skills, but still, I doubt change will occur. After all, Jagex isn't THAT much like Obama.
