I doubt anyone will bother with it PvP, Godswords and Claws already dominate that area of the game. Nope, Whip is better then GS in PvP except for spec.

If they add to the story, good. If this turns into more Role-playing kinda stuff, not interested.

So are you saying that the actual price people were paying before was wrong, and 75k should be the real price of it? Well I guess we should all figure out the prices of every item based on usefullness instead of the price people are willing to pay for it. Gf rares. I don't think they're worth 75k, in fact I think they're worth [cabbage] all because I've never used them. However a lot of people do and their price relative to their usefulness was horribly out of balance. Rares will always be out of balance because they're rares, but for such a common item to have such a distorted price doesn't make a lot of sense. I can understand the reasoning behind the update, even if i don't feel it was necessary. To be honest the boots have already dropped about 10k and i suspect they'll keep falling and eventually settle around their alch price. 45k really isn't too bad for boots between addy and rune in my opinion, though i think with the change they might have upgraded the defense stats on the boots a bit to make them worth their new price. To be honest if you can't come up with 45k in 10-15 minutes or less then you should probably just quit runescape. You are wrong, end of story. They are, were, and will be worth under 10k, except in extreme cases. Hell, you don't even PK, how would you know?

TBH I find it far more annoying to have someone come into where I am slaying then (TRY) to crash me at a boss.

Jagex philosophy: If its broken, fix it. If its not broken, Fix it. If Its REALLY broken, ignore it for 3 years THEN fix it. Not quite, there is a lot of stuff they havn't fixed yet. As well, I would disagree that anything was wrong with the cheap climbers, since they were so easy to get, and offered so little advantage in PvP, if a person couldn't get a pair for whatever reason.

I don't care for the writing style of many people. Nothing personal. Requiem, a writing style isn't something which a person should always want, or needs to be changed. It varies from person to person. I dislike some styles which you may like, and my own may be one of them. However, I am entitled to say I don't like an individuals, just as I would be fine with someone saying they dislike mine. Racheya overstates the (very) obvious, and I just am not looking for that kind of read. Some people may need it to help them understand what went on, however. In fact, I just read it so I could point out why I dislike her style. 1.) WAY, way way too many assumptions, including the assumption that this will damage the market, and that the market doesn't need extra GP, neither claim was substantiated. 2.) Stating that this will damage Jagex's integrity. Why? How? Jagex gave out statistics. Whether or not those can be believed, or are accurate is one matter to consider. However, this wasn't mentioned. 3.) The writing style isn't clear. It just doesn't seem to flow well. 4.) I disagree that this was necessarily "unfair". With prior notice it would be, but otherwise I see this as a lucky break, just as I would say a friend selling me an elysian for market was a "lucky" break for me. 5.) Expecting Jagex to do a full rollback, and then building the majority of your article's focus on that single fix shows a lack of understanding of the seriousness of a rollback, and one's repercussions. 6.) What is the point of talking about the void knight quest in the beginning of the article? That would be similar to my writing a paper on oil, but including in the introduction a plane crash in the Amazon. Unless this plane crash later ties in to my article, it is "filler", something one might try to use in order to fill a quota, (Page numbers, or word count) but which shouldn't be included.

If you think about it, however, +4 str is actually a pretty good deal. For +4 str, you could: -Slave away at BA for a Torso -Cough up 22m+ for a BCP -Cough up 4m+ for a Berserker Ring None of which are also the best equipment in its class. Torso is trash defense, BCP isn't as good as barrows, and the Berserker Ring is usually not used in favor of the Ring of Life, Onyx/Dragonstone (i), Warrior (i), or the Ring of Wealth. Although it is worth noting that the Berserker Ring (i) is the best ring for typical training. Thus, if you look at your other options, +4 strength for 300k is an extremely good deal, and comes with great defense bonuses as well, which none of the above 3 can boast when compared to alternatives. Bandos is FAR better then barrows for bossing TBH. The range defense is invaluable DKSing.

How do we know they are not lying to cover their asses? You don't. You never will. But if you really distrust the mgmt. that much, I have to wonder why you would want to keep playing. Because Whether or not the Mngmtnt is lying doesn't change the fact that this update sucks.

Ye, bandos tassies were down to 26m GE. That is quite low. Things mainly just bottomed out, and are rising again, a normal trend for high price items.
