  1. PC World and Pop Sci.
  2. 1/5 = 20% 20% of EP =/= 20% off your current ep.
  3. I thought it was 20%?
  4. They are not agaisnt the rules directly, they are however against the law and the copyright and it is mentioned in the terms and conditions you agree to when making an account. The Terms and Conditions that nobody reads. Ignorance is no excuse. You sign up for a service - you agree to the terms and conditions and the consequences if you do not. Whether you read them or not, they apply. If they can enforce them.
  5. +1 Vanity fair was a rather stupid article. Comparing Party hats, which have a value due to rarity, to crowns, which only have such a high value due to merchants, horders, and to a small supply as of right now, is asinine.
  6. There is a MAJOR difference between getting 150+kills when you are the ONLY one doing so, and getting 150+ kills when EVERYONE, or a large number of people, are trying to do so.
  7. Interesting, but I'd be more interested in opening various implings, eg nature and magpie mainly.
  8. Offering people a chance to see how things "Used to be" is hardly an admission of a mistake.
  9. Get used to jagex not fixing stuff. Censor evasion is very minor anyway.
  10. Slaying Wyverns, I was getting 100 crims/hr, without a cannon.
  11. Its easier then picking it up, and you have hides/bones on ground when you come back. I do this at Abby specters.
  12. You can also superheat some as you run.
  13. super heat while you mine :P and "action being taken" for forgetting to break img tags or put hide tabs? thats stupid. It won't be efnorced automatically on anyone breaking that rule. But breaking it more than a few times will definitely lead to action taken against accounts. In general, don't do it. We can understand a slip every once in a while, but a pattern of the same action isn't acceptable. Why is it even a big deal at all?
  14. I sure hope so. But how long? and How much? With all the people who want one, unless merchants dump, its probably months off.
  15. 99 summon, only pick up blue most tasks, and crims on tasks which drop a lot such as abbies. Most of the time I make pouches now its if they aren't buying right away on the GE, or I need scrolls, mainly steel titans.
  16. Congratz! You have failed basic economics! Your prize is one facepalm from me. Yeah, all this does is allow the money to change hands, since none is being taken out. False, millions invested in runes will be needed to win, and with hundreds of people each investing in runes, you will see some counter inflation. But those runes are being used and not resold, they are being taken out of the game so they can't change hands again. The GP stays in the game though, for it to be counter-inflationary, the GP would have to leave the game.
  17. I would agree with that. There do need to be more skilling ways of making great GP/hr.
  18. The RS economy is just different. In real life, raw materials are worth less then finished goods. In RS, its the opposite in many cases, since potential/stored XP is a large factor in item prices. There is nothing wrong with that. But that was not always the case. The reason potential exp is a factor is because of the Skill capes as I said. If you go back pre-skill cape, raw materials were much more dependant on ease of collecting and how much profit could be made through a production skill. Take for example sharks. When the price of raw sharks rose to the price of cooked sharks, people would stop cooking them forcing the raw price down. Now, simple breaking even or making a low loss keeps the price down for those wanting an easy skill cape. My point is, why is changing the status quo bad? It's the same way I feel about inflation. The game evolves, changes, and so do prices. Its not always a bad thing.

  20. I'd trust queltar on this TBH, so I'd say ye.
  21. It'd be the other way around. Just sayin' ;) That was pretty good for A HERB run though. :) Look it up. That is actually the way its grammatically supposed to be. May seem backwards, but its true.
  22. Its an, not a, before herb, at least according to this rule: an herb if pronounced HERB a herb pronounced URB
  23. The problem has not been that it is in Castle wars, but the fact it is not based on aspects unique to castle wars. It is also being based on an activity which is almost guaranteed to be won by somebody with lots of money and high levels, opposed to something in which many people could try to do with a fair chance of winning. For example, they could do resources gained in TB, performance in BA, items gathered in SC, scores made in CW, but no, they choose kills in CW, which could easily been done in many different areas. So you have a problem with them focusing on the PKing aspect of CW. Jagex chose to focus on that aspect. People would whine if Jagex had a contest focusing on number of flags captured, which gives an obvious advantage to people with better connections.
  24. You win 2 extra internetz. Ye, that was the kicker. Did an herb run, logged, came back later did another one.
