yes, but losing all that expensive armor on a melee isnt fun either. personally i like melee because u spend lets say 60k on a armor. and u know that ur budget is always 60k until u die. in magic it doesnt work like that. there is always a budget u have to be looking at.

some just do the buyable ones that r considered easy. some just start doing one and seeing that it has the biggest potential to become a 99 they just do it. and other do it because it is their favorite however tbh not many do it for that reason of fun.

to be honest i dont see wats wrong with lending rares. name something wrong with it and well start talking. dedication and showing off how rich u r isnt a legit answer.

Who exactly r u blaming for being serious? the majority of the players? pkers? merchanters? who r u talking about? im not flamming i would just like to know. Second, I think the players do have a right to be angry with the many things that jagex has done lately which is this whole year. I mean the year was going so well when bang! widly is gone. now im not a crybaby over it but i do understand why pkers r pissed off. now if ur not a pker and ur saying stop crying. i want to tell u something. say a skill u enjoy in rs or an item or just any aspect of the game of rs and picture it being taken away. wouldnt that suck. it does for the pkers. now my belief is that jagex overreacted to RWT. I now rwt is bad but they just took away every aspect of rs away just to take out rwt. i mean would it really hurt anybody if it was there for 6 more months. rwt is bad regardless of whether ur a pkers or screwing around because it will ruin every aspect of the game. u will always have ppl getting good armor and stuff for no work or time played. it had to be shutdown and u can see other games. like diablo 2 online. there was so much rwt that players felt the aspect of the game was ruined. rs didnt want to turn into that direction, but they really first had to find legit substitutions. Comon bh. not bh right now but bh multicombat. comon that was just chaos. clan wars was nice but it doesnt satisfy the loot pkers. GE was great regardless of all the beggars saying no!!! because nobody can get scammed and everyone knows how much each item is so nobody gets ripped off. and prices can change depending on supply and demand. next was fog which was a iou gift for taking away wild but it still doesnt cut it. Other updates such as graphics/summoning were also nice but those r just distractions to make the no good updates ppl go away. Proof of Jagex and how bad timed everything was is the clan wars update. why couldnt they just do that from the start. really jagex seriously went all out and took away rwt without having a clue where to go to next. as if they thought nobody would get hurt by such a big update. overall conclusion: The players to have a right to be serious/mad at jagex because lets face it. this year was terrible!

im f2p and i dont think this is really needed. not only r some skills in members area but it wouldnt a good choice. if i am tired of f2p and i want more skills? where do i go? members! if i have a preview i wont really be anymore interested.

Note everything here is concerned with f2p only! K, now I have a few questions about pking. i see almost everyone doing range then 2h ko at the end. why is this? why dont ppl do lets say melee then magic at the end. is it even possible to do all 3combat styles? take into consideration that this is a str pure so my def is 1. its not like it really matters wat armor i am wearing. whether it be nothing or full iron. it doesnt matter. i just wanna know wat is the best fighting style and technique and how should i do it. next question: the combat triangle can really be seen at higher levels. for instance: if max players fight u can definetly see that one style is better than another. but there r exeptions for instance most ppl know that pking with level under 50 or such magic dominates. wat about the class of cmb 53-60? my goal stats r the following: 40attack 70str 72range 70magic 70hp cmb level: 53 r these good? wat would u do to improve them while staying at max cmb level 60? would u keep em?

look guys. ive been reading through the last page of posts and this thread is starting to lose its purpose. the purpose is to post funny stories of when someone was being a noob. share with them so that ppl can enjoy and laugh. now it just seems that ppl r making up stories which some dont even make sense #-o and ppl r constantly flaming each other :roll: why cant we all just get a long? OT: I was on my new account and i was training it on chicken farm in lumby. level 8 goes up to me and calls me a noob. I explain to her that this isnt my main and he said: Noob: my main owns urs. Me: urs might but does it really matter noob: my main is level 45 Me: i have to other accounts one is lvl 49 and the other is 59 noob: logs and comes with his main. we then agree to add each other (i didnt want to sound mean by saying no) his noob walks away. a few minutes later his main logs and walks away while on my friends list his other account was still on. me: r u multi logging? noob: basically :| :shame: i didnt report because im not one of those wannabemods but that was really wierd. it was kind of fstrange how he admit it too. I thought he was gonna make somekind of excuse...

jagex always likes to these types of teasers. something hidden in the picture to make us wonder and speculate. remember last banner? we though they were to release another skill such as sailing. a new quest with elvarg. all of these r possibilities but we just dont know yet. my belief is the wild coming back and stuff. dragon plate? im not sure. is it time for it? maybe. it seems not to long ago that dragon hatchet was released and the concept art showed us dragon plate so it might. also it would fit in with the wild and stuff.

Why doesn't runescape advertise more? Now u notice that jagex is missing alot of players. For example, why do other mmorpgs have so much more players. the other day i saw my younger brother watching his kiddie shows when pirates of the carribean online pops up. the commercial easily convinces him to make a new account, which he doesnt know how to :lol: Im not going to waste ur time by going into detail but the point is why doesnt jagex advertise? they have the money to invest in? why dont they do it? im pretty sure making a few commercials can bring in customers which is cash :thumbsup: maybe they do advertise here and there but seriously. if they just make a couple of commercials on kiddie channels in america they will have so many customers

i like theme parks i just dont like the crowds there and wierd ppl. no offense but dont u always see wierd ppl in theme parks. i like going when nobody is there. like when there is rain and the rides still operate but nobody is there.

I do agree that RWT was a problem and that it should've been stopped, but taking it out without putting legit replacements is just suicidal. I mean i good community of rs is pkers. just look at the falidor chaos. especially in f2p. f2p really has no source of entertainment. who wants to level mining and all these skills. wats the point. its not like there is that dragon set u can wear after ur rune. in f2p there is no variety and minigames so the real source of entertainment is pking. From wat i can remember f2p worlds had 1400ppl now u see 700ppl. wat happened to the half? :ohnoes: Replacing a bs bh which was chaos and not even updated clan wars, f2p has nothing. fog was like a iou gift but that doesnt cut it. now many ppl r like, stop crying f2p. u had enough updates. and i really despise these ppl :evil: wildy was a big part of our game in f2p. now rs is releasing pvp worlds which is great and all but jagex better hope that the pking community comes back which they might not. some already moved to different games and others dont come back hoping for pking since its been almost a year already. RWT must be stopped but the timing was so off. jagex first needed to find a legit replacement. waiting a year wouldnt hurt anybody. pvp worlds wat a simple solution. #-o really bad timing jagex. gratz =D> on losing half of ur community.

there will always be ppl u despise or dont like in pvp activities. there is really nothing that can be done. my suggestion to jagex is to make fog based on rating. so u get paired with someone close to ur cmb level. otherwise it stinks.
