great to see an nfl thread here. im rooting for my team: the Jets J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets! good thing we got brett favre, our offensive line is improved with the help of trades :thumbsup: , our pass rush has been improved according to how many times cassal was knocked down and the jets look like a decent team. i expect a turn around from last season. all we need is WR for brett to throw to. im thinking donald driver... or Ocho Cinco :lol: My other fave team is the Giants superbowl champs! so far getting the job done. couldve played better maybe. without osi we our d line still looks good.

there is a great pure guide in the AOW that i have been following. it may be a little outdated but it is still very handy. i am also making a pure (again for like the 5th time) and this will be my last one win or lose... his name is pyro xeron and this is wat my plans r. attack 1-15 just do chickens in lumby. they never hit u and it will level u. collect every feather. i dont see why not as this will only take up 1 inventory space because it is a stackable and this could make u a few 1000s which isnt bad for a pure. 15-40 men in edgeville. i know this may seem boring but they r good xp and they rnt crowded. collect small bones and store in bank. it can make money. only stop training on them if ur max can kill them in one hit. alternatives r goblins in goblin village - these r great xp. monks and really anything else u prefer. always remember fight things that dont require much food. we r pures and we cant block attacks very well. make sure u fight things that hit low and keep in mind a bank to store up on food. dont struggle fighting strong monsters. it is low xp and expensive Strength 1-15 chickens same reason for attack 15-40 same reasons as attack 40-60 flesh crawlers imo a good. 60+ flesh crawlers and if ur bored just do other spots Range 1-15 some easy monsters with safespot just to get some levels then when ur ready range black knights on the hill north of falidor. they r good xp, great safespot, and they respawn fast. + nobody there. u can do this up to level 70+ Magic: i havent tried this out but hobgoblins on the peninsula. u could try black knights as well tips: ur trying to train attack, strength, range, magic, and hp avoid getting defense because u need to avoid combat levels and avoid prayer. even though u can boost prayer it runs out quickly since in f2p u dont have pots and it is better to just have those str levels instead. train magic and range even though u dont think they will do u good because they will raise ur hp which ppl forget about. the magic itself wont raise ur cmb level so why not get hp from it. hp is important. dont do any quests as this will raise skills without hp. if u have a book of knowledge or lamp use it on hp.

im a pure cuz im too lazy to train a main :lol: but i like pking and im excited for the pvp worlds. it seems like legitimate pking and might be similar to the old wild. Jagex said that this will be released at the end of 2008. nobody knows the month, week, or date. we just have to wait and see. perhaps it might say in a behind the scenes? many ppl think it will be in december but we just dont know for sure. im just glad it will be before the year ends and not like in march.

the GE is like the stock market. People make a company and ppl invest in it. (the price manipulators) then ppl see that it is rising so they invest in it and merchanters make alot of money. there r trade limits so that ppl cant make mass amount of money on it but there is really no way to stop it. it is the market. the ge tells everyone the price so really nobody can get scammed and it is easier for ppl to buy and sell. it is basically like old skool merchanting but easier. i just dont understand why ppl dont do this for themselves. sure price manipulation is against the rules but really... how does jagex know. u could just be a happy go lucky buyer. (meanwhile u and ur friends r becoming rich) i never manipulated the price cuz im poor :lol: but i dont understand wat jagex can do about it. they already restricted it. if they restrict it again ppl will complain. personally this should be left alone and it isnt a big problem yet. it will be and then jagex will go through another series of "terrible" updates.

there r so many threads on this. i write lol when its kind of funny but doesnt really make me laugh. or just to fit in ;) i write rofl when it actually makes me laugh for a second or too. i write rofl!!! and do some more things etc when it really makes me laugh but this is very rare

im currently making a pure and i keep messing up :wall: but if i need to make money it will be by selling air talismans which can be gotten from lumby duke. any other ways r the steel method, begging, and waiting for randoms to happen.

personally i hate the new tutorial. it may seem kool to the first graphix noobs, but it doesn't teach you about the game. there r too many useless cut scenes. the only thing the new tut might accomplish is to trick newbs into thinking that they can fight dragons from the start. they skip crafting and surprisingly they skip mining and smithing. why r they doing this. not only that but they make u gain def xp! no!!!! lol

well im not sure wat u find enjoying in runescape. runescape is a game. a game is something that u can escape into to avoid real life. so u must enjoy it. dont force urself to do something u dont like. imo u should just read about everything u missed on runescape and just visit or try things out and find out wat u enjoy.

from my f2p view i would get 85mining or 84 (dwarven stout) then u will be able to mine rune which is a big achievement and money maker. use that money from those ores to get up buyable stats like smithing/summoning/prayer/construction/fming (i would wait for update)/cooking. this may take along time but it is a very nice goal once u achieve it. another skill to just get up is magic since it lacks behind the other combat skills. other choices r to cut yews since its decent profit and thats it. conclusion: get 84-85 mining and start getting rune ores. sell them and make cash. use cash for other skills/essentials. after that just improve everywhere else like in fishing and other skills. how to get 84 mining? look in the AOW section on these forums. we have a few great mining guides. my suggestion would be to just powermine the whole way because it will be fast.

the above r wrong. it is a pvp term and it is really like a code of honour such as using protection prayers. safing is eating when ur not in danger. it is ok to eat at 15 hp since ur opponent has max 15 but it isnt logical to eat at 35hp. play how u want. some pkers say it so that u wont get angry and ull stop eating. and then they ko u. if u just want to keep doing wat u r fine. its just a term tho.

also take advantage of heights. good xp is black knights. dont spread this otherwise everyone will be using it. ;)

it isnt against the rules as long as they dont interact with each other. meaning u dont trade req help etc. i would just play on different worlds to be safe. the thing is that jagex cant pick up that ur playing ur 2 accounts on different computers. they can tell on one since there r 2 accounts with same ip. their moniters pick that up. in ur situation u can.

dont suffer through getting ur goal if u really cant stand doing the particular skill. rs is a game and it should be enjoyed. dont force urself to do something u dont. u might as well just do that irl. if u r getting bored switch activities, play minigames, etc. then when u feel ready to achieve ur goal do it. it stinks how u level so slowly once ur a higher level. another way is to just chat with friends make plan parties. things that can make u look forward on getting that 85 mining other than the fact that u can mine those reunite ores :thumbsup: hope u make it to big 85 and gl. try not to die of boredom :thumbsup:

this is great money. especially in f2p and u can do with with low stats. the only thing that stinks is that many have done rune mysteries so this doesnt work for most characters other than pures. maybe put money making for a pure.

i always hang in world 7. for the time being its in edgy but i rarely play. why is this not a sticky anymore?
