  1. I'm wondering why he didn't like force pull a bucket of sleeping pills into his face.
  2. Wait, this thread's title is - "Done anything awesome lately", but below that, in the OP, it states "Done anything you're proud of lately ?" Well, it's often that the awesome things you do you shouldn't be proud of and the things that make you feel pride aren't awesome. In that case, yes. About six tabs.
  3. I have one. Log in once every week. No mind, no matter.
  4. Whatevers' in my wardrobe. Shirt, shorts, pants. Usually stripey. What the hell else do you people want. I dont get people's fascination with looking super hip/ trendy/ cool/ part of the "in" crowd.
  5. YAY ! I'm the last person to post. I win.
  6. I do agree with your second paragraph, MageMan, but your whole "correlation =/= causation" non-argument is flawed. It's like saying, sure we can say those who smoke have increased chances of getting cancer, but ignore it as there is no empirical, hard data to prove it. We have piles and piles of statistics but no clinical studies. And the clinicals studies that we do have, are also flawed by the presence of a few outliers -- namely people who have smoked their whole lives, and lived healthily to a ripe old age. See how ridiculous that argument is ? I agree that this whole concept of "global warming" and "climate change" is relatively recent, within 20 years, and only 180 years outside of industrialization, but please -- Work your way around that.
  7. If you take the shift in temperature to be like a sin or a cos wave, then accelerating the cycle would be reducing it's period. Which is fine. But I dont think we're doing that, I think we are just increasing it's amplitude. Anyone following ?

Nope. Anyway, hoooraay for $5 wine ! Just 50 proof away from moonshine ! Wasn't that bad actually.
  9. Look, I'm sorry, okay ? I didn't mean to offend you or Hextriplet. It was just that I was having a bad day and I needed to vent. I dont have many friends so I spend my time here on Tip.It posting hurtful comments to make myself feel better. Again, sorry I offended you, but, I'm sure that in due time, we can be friends. xoxo Adrenal.
  10. Yes, I did read the part it says it "would cost less" to eradicate disease poverty etc... But you are a fortunate white male, going to an Ivy League college if I'm not mistaken, and you've already mentioned several times your hatred for America's tax system. I thought you would agree. Still the US is one of the largest [if not the largest, memory not failing] foreign aid donaters, but most of this is through the IMF and World Bank [practically the same now] And everyone knows that this money is only used to serve the economic and often strategic interests of the donor country. But, I'm going off topic. And, I call you Rebdragon, because your name is Rebdragon. Or Reb ?

*curious* Care to share? :D I'm itching to tell people about it, but it's really not appropriate for the forums. I can see myself getting banned if I told you guys any stories it's that bad. Aw, c'mon. Tell us.
  12. Oh, I dont know Rebdragon. We'll have to tax people for that. Oh, yes. Tax innnocent hardworking Americans out of their precious money. Is it worth it ? Naww, [bleep] it.

I've been wondering, why do you not like xkcd? It's elitist [cabbage]. You need to have a degree or just read wikipedia fervently [like Munroe does, that [wagon][bleep]] to decipher the "joke". Not all of us are intelligent computer programers or aeronautical engineers. [bleep] it, call me a [developmentally delayed]. Oh and Nadril, the reason I like SMBC, is that it reminds me of the Far Side. You know the whole 1 panel 1 punchline thing.

Today, peanuts are considered the deadliest food in the world, due to allergies. Please don't give it orders to attack. That's because kids today are over protected. They're growing up to be decaf-soy chai latte drinking pansies. Let them put that dirt in their mouths. Also, on a side note. That ricotta cannelloni was terrible. Foul.
  15. lolwtfbbq ? Time and place for everything. And that was just useless. And, he wasn't even "given" power. Okay, bad example. Still, no need to be a Toss-Off. Yeah, sorry. :P I just mentally "lol'd" when I read that.

Which means that Antarctica is refreshingly chilly. Dont forget your scarf !
  17. That's actually quite cool. I have them all hanging in my room  Have you gotten them valued ? Must be worth something.

Ah peanut butter, a ray of light in these dark ricotta cannelloni days. My dear peanut butter, what would I do without you ? The cheese must be stopped ! Advance bread and spread battalion. Attttaaaaack !

I wouldn't know, I've never heard of it. But I'll certainly look it up. And also, XKCD sucks. Just liked to mention that. Oh nearly forgot, I read qwantz occaisonally. [The dinosaur comics thing]
  20. Even if the data presented was altered, or skewed to present a false image. Even if it is one gigantic conspiracy, or I dont know, any other method to deny it it's validity -- No one's arguing with the fact that pumping tonnes of chemicals into our air and water is a bad thing. No one's arguing with the fact that our finite resources are quickly being used up by our infinite and insatiable human needs. No one's arguing with the fact that what is happening all around us is real, present and immeadiate. So, stop spreading your lies.
  21. lolwtfbbq ? Time and place for everything. And that was just useless. And, he wasn't even "given" power. Anyway, Hex, I'm gonna have to say this is actually a really good idea. It seems like you've thought this out well, and conveyed your thoughts clearly. You obviously are an active and aware member of the Tip.It community, and I would really like to hear more such ideas from you in the future. This definitley gets my support. ... ... ... ... ... Just kidding. It actually doesn't.
  22. That's actually quite cool.
