Two hexes in one floor. We saw two gazers in that floor, and like one edimu, and even two gazers as well in the floor before. Incredibly lucky and we were laughing our asses off.

Saying you "key" is an outdated phrase; there should be no such thing as one person doing key doors and the rest of the team being gd [bleep]. The typical setup at sub 100 dg is primal plate and primal baxe. The idea of the hood being good was that you were negating a bunch of damage by being hidden and thus being able to pray accordingly. As floors get faster and faster, the hood is activated less and less, rendering it useless. The plate is consistent defense and as such the optimal choice. The next step is choosing between the two preferable binds, bloodneck and hex. Seeing as you can't use the hex, bind a bloodneck as soon as possible. Until then, bind whatever the hell you want. Perhaps an empowered fire staff for extra magic damage? 1) Weapon of choice 2) Best platebody 3) BN/Hex 4) EFS, SSH, Primal legs (not really), whatever you want. Life is good at the moment, you have options.

So yeah, just checked. Can't rebuy comp cape. I'm a little confused, so if I were to take the item out of the key thing (is that how it works), do I get my comp cape back and the key? Or is the key gone entirely? If that's the case, lucky for me all I do is dg.

Last I heard they are slow (bad xp), hard to kill, etc. Skip them. But I haven't trained slayer in a long time, might wait for a second opinion.

A) This is why many choose to join clans and dg only with friends, both legitimate options. For forms of help, there are hundreds of guides out there (both good and bad) that explain the basics. As soon as you know that, a lot of the skill involved comes from practice. B) This was never implied. Unless of course someone said 4:4 teams will be best because they may get some xp boost and those floors aren't much slower then 5:5's. We'll have to wait and see for that. C) The team based aspect is why Dungeoneering is so important. It is the ONLY skill in the game that requires skill to be good at. After all, we are playing a MMORPG. I would think that having more team based content is important, not detrimental. I wish there were more skills and minigames like dungeoneering in the game, not stuff where I click monotomously for hours on end.

For killcount, even the higher leveled players want ceremonial. That KC is a [bleep], buy it yourself or borrow from a friend. I wasn't aware that Nex had agility and range requirements. Go figure. Or are you just couting the requirments to get into the encampments to get the pieces? To get frozen keys kill the lowest stuff possible in the encampments. Zamorak may be imps, although I don't know if they drop pieces or not. The rest of them are fairly high combat, but you should be able to pray against them and negate all damage. The key pieces aren't too rare, but can take some time to get, especially at a low combat.

Eh, I think it will eventually. There'll be a lot less people coming up from DGing who would be able to qualify for today's 5:5 standards, as they can just take the easy way out and solo and not have to deal with "shit teams in bad worlds" (And therefore can't be lured to come and try proper dging with proper teams). Quality has already dropped immensely over the past few months in DG. This certainly won't help. That^

Yeah in the beginning the spears were determined the best, but since then we have discovered the amazing berserker ring and its effects. When using the aggresive style on your weapon (2h or baxe) you get a pretty significant dps boost, so long as you upgrade it. Coupled with the fact that most of the monsters in dg are weak to crush or slash (not stab, and the stab option on the spear is the controlled style, and thus doesn't get the boost anyways.), using one of those two weapons is critical. While I have never done this and don't know if it is possible, does the Runescape site have a search function for clans? Like a key word may be monster hunting or PvM, whatever. You may find one that way.

Did you do that all in one step or did you talk to him inbetween? I cracked it, talked to him, crushed it, talked to him, etc. and it worke dout fine.

Jagex has to have these events during a weekend (over several days) so that as many players as possible can benefit from it. How fair would it be if they did it from noon to 2pm on a Saturday GMT. According to you, this would be great! Players get a lot of xp and they only have to play 2 hours to get the full benefits. For me and thousands of players around the world, this sucks. I live in MST, which means this event would go from 5-7 AM. Like hell I'm going to wake up that early for Runescape, yet I would feel like I've been cheated out of xp. Not to mention people actually have jobs, school, and other comittments that take up this time. Do they not deserve to get some bonus experience? This is why Jagex has to have such broad hours. Everyone wants, and should have a good chance to, get a piece of the pie. If some players decide to take advantage of this, so what. Jagex shouldn't care and neither should you. In no way are they encouraging the long hours, it's just the way it is.
